Therapy only works if you're kinda stupid, and pliable. You could probably get equal results paying somebody to scream at you to clean your room.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 04:36 AM

You speak of evolution as if it has a plan, and ascribe reason to the chaos of culture. Most things can be boiled down to short term self interest. Most slut shaming comes from women looking for marriage because groovy chicks fuck up the market. The bit of shaming that comes from men is usually from psycho dudes that women were avoiding anyways.

Quite the opposite in my experience. A lot of autistic men might not have access to sex, and think they're asexual as they grow out of the worst of puberty. Where you see the crossover between the two you'll almost always find sexual trauma, or pure cope.

Nah, divorce happens before the marriage in most cases, and it's never about a guy being too nice. It's about him being a lonely idiot that will let himself be pressured into indentured servitude out of fear of losing his cookie. Notice that when normie women get tired of a guy, instead of letting him go they try to escalate the relationship with kids, and contracts. That's because they're getting him to invest as much of himself as possible to increase the half that she's already planning to ta…

If you're born 5'5" you'd be as tall as a house by the time you grew up.

Why are you worried about birth rates, and marriage though? None of that reflects on dating, only the end goals of the people dating. It's like a Greek saying the USA must be poor because of our lack of olive trees. If you're actually worried about the decline of western civilization, you're not going to change any root causes by criticizing weirdo fringe groups like feminists.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 09:53 AM

Speak for yourself, not for men. If your self esteem is dependant on approval from anyone, I wouldn't even call you a man in the first place.

There is no exact number on how few shelters there are for battered men because nobody wants to admit it's next to zero. Almost 20% of them allow pets though according to the charity that wants to get more pets in.

It's almost entirely a matter of looks. Men are not just less attractive to women, unattractive men literally disgust women on a biochemical level. Being clannish, hysterical, and cruel as normies tend to be, that disgust becomes the kind of boogieman fear usually reserved by cops for minorities. They'll say stuff like "most men don't meet the basic requirements", but what they really mean is that they don't see most men as human.

Maybe my dating life has been too easy, but I'd rather pearl myself with a string of sea urchins than sit through a service. Don't care if she has a grippopotamus that can bite a man in half. I'll stick with my crunchy witchy chicks. At least their autism is the fun kind, and sage smells very pleasant.

Equal partnerships are very possible, but not for neurotypicals. If one member of a relationship is normie, they will inevitably ruin everything when their insecurity, and ego collide with their poor communication skills, and need to "win". Reminder, kids; normal, and typical do not imply acceptable, or healthy.

There are no domestic violence shelters for men. You're telling this to a guy who is currently homeless due to an abusive relationship.

Statistics on homelessness, and shelter availability are a keystroke away. The fact you're not aware of them only serves the OP's point. Even casual observation should tell you who lives on the street, so your ignorance is willful.

I am joking, but the best humor comes from a place that hurts because it's true. All these Midwest boys are being mutilated purely because their mom thinks it looks weird. That's all the thought that goes into the decision, and every other argument is an excuse after the fact. I don't think you're to blame for pointing it out. It's actually nice to be heard, so thanks.

Distribution? I don't know. That's a tough one. Maybe if we developed a series of flattened stretches of land that we could easily push carts on. Perhaps we could even move those carts with horsepower. Fuck, I give up. It's so complex.

When I was in seventh grade they gathered all the boys for an assembly where an army recruiter explicitly told us we had no future because we are poor. Then he promised if we join ROTC we can get a pay bump when we enlist straight out of high school. I'm not sure you read right, or maybe I phrased things poorly. Girls used to call me scrub before that song even came out. It got way worse after the song. I already felt bad about being poor, and didn't need it rubbed in like I ever pretended to be anything else. It's not okay to be bullied by anyone, or anything. Gender rolls in general are typically a means to control people with shaming. For many men, the concept of masculinity bullies them out of childhood extremely prematurely. You can shit on men for that all day, but nobody ever bullied me about masculinity harder than women who aspired to never work. You, op, speak truth, but you lose the human forest for the male trees. We all get mistreated. Not just by people, but by the expectations placed on us.

Many women are not beautiful Strongly disagree, but I don't see us ever reaching a syntheses of opinion on that point. plain, average or ugly woman can go out with messy hair and sloppy clothes and receive even a modicum of courtesy and respect in society and they absolutely will not receive any of those from men, guarantee it. Might sound crazy, but celebrity gossip is sensational by design, so it might not be an accurate way to see the world. but as soon as they exit the relationship (either dumping, but usually cheating being the common reason in a lot of cases; not always) end up dating other people, and immediately in less than a year (even a few months in), go on to propose, marry and or have children You watch too many rom coms.

I wouldn't personally put money on sexless men causing a societal collapse. With that out of the way, OP's argument is based on a too big to fail fallacy. We are very likely heading for a collapse without their help. The anger of the guy maintaining the airplane that carries you safely in defiance of nature who cannot afford to move out of his parent's house, those are the guys you should worry about. Men want open relationships, but are more sexually repressed by society, so we don't ask often. Being labeled a perv, or a dog is our version of slut shaming. Women tend to bring it up once they're sure their partner has no other options, and they start building a soft harem. It's easy for them to ask because she can simply call him insecure. Just her asking casts so much shade on her partner that he's hobbled right out the gate. One thing I'd advise men who end up in an open relationship becaus…

Hardcore sadomasochism; I'd like a woman to beat the every loving shit out of me until I'm senseless with endorphins. Then to return the favor by treating her like a worthless fuck muppet. Won't ever happen though because women conflate masochism with submissiveness, so they immediately dry up on the rare occasions I share my kink.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/23 05:24 PM
1

What is this concept that men don't want relationships based on in the first place? Most dudes will keep coming back like a stray if you feed him once. What I, and likely a lot of other men, really don't like is the relationship escalator. When a woman is constantly, "so what are we now?", "we did X so we must do Y", just go go go, never content. Those women can never really be happy, and most men don't like that vibe once they've felt its darkness.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/23 03:59 PM

I've put off responding to women I'm very interested in because I wanted to write, or paint something. Sometimes for days because other stuff comes up. My physical retirements to be able to be attracted to a woman are a short list. Not super fat; chubby is fine, I'm from the Midwest. Not a fan of heavy acne, or herpes sores. Criteria was probably the wrong word. More accurately I mean they don't judge men on the same scale. Most days I'm lucky if a chick doesn't literally frown at me, but if I walk into a gay bar it's like running through a corn field. You wouldn't be able to tell from the giga chads on this forum who only bang 11/10 virgins, but regular guys have a rather broad range for what they can be attracted to. Because gay men, and straight women don't judge men on the same criteria. I don't agree with with all of OP's post, but men do seem to be much more flexible on what we are attracted to. The influence of hormones, and being raised as a boy in formative years tends to give transwomen a more masculine concept of sex. I say this as someone who recognizes them as women in case it matters. One thing I think OP has wrong is transmen having low libidos. Testosterone tends to turn people into aggressive …

Those things don't jive together well.

I know this one lady off FB that might argue that women need game. She's crazy smart, very cultured, and the kind of pretty that only talks to men like me online. Her preference is for quiet, brooding men because she is a quiet, brooding woman, but she's consistently been mogged by loud, histrionic women. All her life she's had her mom telling her to act helpless, and live parasitically, and all her life she's watched women like her mom wrap men around their fingers. She refuses to play the game…

Yeah, all the time. If you listen to people, and don't judge, they'll often confess about things they feel guilty about. Nobody, man, or woman is good at admitting they're wrong in the heat of the moment though.

That is true, but it sort of backs my point too. You need moral men with a propensity for violence to counter the immoral ones. The violence itself is neutral. The vast majority of people merely want a secure partnership they feel wanted in, and a home of some sort. Those people meet each other fast, so the dating scene can seem very skewed for those who like people for more than what they give us.

I'm the fwb in some cases, and you wanna know what I do when she complains about her boyfriend? I stick up for him, and try to explain why he might feel a certain way without dismissing her concerns. I'm a goddamned boyfriend advocate that will never be appreciated by the men I'm trying to get laid.

I aim high, but can genuinely find ugly attractive if I get emotionally attached through text first. My last ex is in the popular category on OkCupid, and is a solid 9 anywhere you send her in the world. Big titty goth chick that can code, make you cookies, and doesn't have issues cumming because of her meds. my current main gf is hard to be objective about because I'm very much in love. Other men worship her though, and will send her $100 just for a boob pic. My on again off again girlfriend is…

I think that's why we use the word "machiavellianism" to denote dishonesty, and cruel cunning instead of his actual character traits. It keeps honest people from looking into his work, and getting very pissed off.

Polygamous men are not building or repairing enough. They are wasting time by courting their many women. This includes not taking care of the children. Oh, eff you, buddy. My polyamorous self spends 60+ hours a week doing actual labor to keep a stay at home mom for three kids. It's one of the things my girlfriends tend to find attractive about me. They even send me back with little gifts for the kids sometimes.

The fun part is that these dudes out there giving lame dick are usually the ones women line up for. It's like having a primo burger joint. Huge beef patties, all sorts of exotic specialties, and friendly service. The catch is there is a mcdonald's, and a 5 Guys on each side of you, so people associate hamburgers with some sad, commercialized sack of disappointment that you immediately regret putting in you.

I'm assuming the purpose is in its function. Based on that, I would guess the purpose of marriage is to stagnate relationships, and give the state means to squeeze men for money by holding their children hostage when it inevitably falls apart.

Nobody sane thinks it is brave to abandon your family. If you show me an instance of that happening, I'll be right on your side calling them an asshole. At the same time though, people need some room to change their minds. We have ethical obligations when we form a family, but morality is another story.

A comet just passes through. A traveler that keeps friends in each town. I meet them on dating apps. I know what I like, and I know who likes me, so I often match with the first woman I right swipe. We text a while, and establish a casual sexual relationship within one, or two times meeting. Those will last months to years, and I'll usually juggle at least two at a time. The texting isn't work to me since I write a lot anyways. Overall it's almost all reward for very little true effort.

Dating apps aren't the problem, Match dot com is the problem. OkCupid back in the day was lit. It was more of a social media site where you didn't have to feel weird sliding into dms because that's what everyone was there for. Swipe culture embittered people. The difference in what a bio looked like in 2010 compared to now is drastic, and disappointing. Edit: Facebook has the best dating app, but the worst people. All true, but I'm not sure that not being proactive in dating lowers your chances of being mislead. The guys I've known who truly hated women had no problem approaching them, and playing a relationship shell game.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 06:43 PM

Not saying you're wrong, but do you think many women are worried about hurting their chances with the guys on here who complain about body count?

I mean, she practically hit me with a heart shaped frying pan, so it's my fault if she never tried that again.

Could also mean she wanted to try all 36 flavors. If you got the free gift card, you might as well. I know I would.

Yes and? You saying guys think "you're good enough for now" is just you saying you feel like you're not good enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 12:27 PM

If a high body count just means a woman wants/enjoys sex, why would that be a negative? I can see your point if her libido plummets as soon as she meets you, and you should totally walk away from that situation. Excluding that circumstance though, it seems like a win to me. Unless I'm missing something.

The most toxic women are generally b cluster personality types, and they're very good at bringing everyone to their side no matter how wrong they are. Trying to point out bullies is like trying to save a battered wife. She'll fight you with him. Fuck them all, just live in a way that it's not your problem.

My bios are epic. Writing is one of my few talents, and I've had more than one partner tell me they'd get hot reading me before ever seeing me, and I don't even write erotica. That said, I get a like a week on a good week. I make the most of it, but the point is is that I could probably be more successful if I tightened my abs a bit, smiled more, and erased all the text.

I'm not sure where the lie is. Yes, in most cases I was dtf before she was, but I assume the women I court aren't naive. The time I put in is giving her time to guess whether I'll keep putting that time in after I've hit it. The ones who wanted it right away made it clear before meeting, the ones who felt the first date was enough made it clear by how they kissed me goodnight. It's so normie for a chick to be liked for her body that getting a guy to like her as a person too is almost a kink.

My idea certainly won't work if I'm the only one who thinks it will. The impulse to dominate is almost always born from resource insecurity, real, or perceived. In a healthy person who has their basic needs met, that capacity manifests as assertiveness instead. Like how that wolf study was binned because it only looked at wolves in harsher conditions than they would face in the wild. Unfortunately we do live in a zoo, so I guess we're fucked.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 03:51 PM

Incel for one, but conservative truly offends the sensibilities. The point I wanted to make is you can change the behavior by changing the language. If you see a guy out there doing positive guy stuff like helping old people, or pitching in at home, call that macho. Men seem to want the label no matter what its current definition is, so by controlling the definition you...control men...fuck, actually never mind what I said. That was all crazy talk.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 03:05 PM

I wouldn't make an estimate of your intelligence based on one disagreement. You can jump to conclusions, and imply I'm a conservative, or incel, or whatever label you need to dehumanize me all day, but I've no need to seeth. Sorry this has been upsetting, I'll drop it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 11:25 AM

Point is you're contributing to the problem by devolving a concept into a base mockery. By all means though, wring your hands instead of grasping the idea.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 10:54 AM
1

You have a funny definition of evolution. Did you get it from the same dictionary that insisted ain't isn't a word for about a hundred years? Guess if if that's how you want macho to be defined, I'm afraid you're going to have to suck it up when mAcHo harasses you, sorry.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 10:22 AM
1

I'm not conservative, and it wouldn't be a point in an argument if I was, so that's irrelevant. The meaning of words means a lot. Obviously what men are told is macho matters, but you insist on redefining it to be something you don't like. Men aren't going to stop trying to be manly, so how you define manly is extremely important, and you're a part of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 09:41 AM
1

It's not that ancient. Like, less than a hundred years ago macho meant the exact opposite, and it should be taken back.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 09:27 AM
3

That's not macho. By definition, macho is a stoic family man. That Johnny Bravo shit is an American aberration of the concept. When I hear things about wanting groups of people to disappear, my danger radar pings. I don't wanna end up on a train because I look scary.

Look at it like this. Being hot is like having an icbm that you can use to devastating effect. Being funny is like staging a military coup. Missile guy can kill whoever he wants, sure, but clever guy is getting all he wants for pennies on the dollar. By all means, spend an appreciable amount of your time, and money to obtain the looks that'll attract the sort of woman who'll abandon you when your beauty fades. I'll continue reminding chicks of their dad with dry humor.

I've dated a woman that most would consider ugly. We connected a lot before I saw her, so I didn't truly see the "flaws". I just knew she was not fat, very witty, gave worshipful blowjobs, and loved me. Eventually I figured out that just because she's nice to me doesn't mean she's a nice person though. That made the veil fall, and I couldn't be attracted to her anymore. I think if she were pretty I might have forgiven her poor character though.

Even if I wasn't opposed to capitalism, I've yet to meet a sex worker that wasn't a scandalous, sneaky chiseler, and all around scumbag. What's more is they're fucking pushy, and never accept the first no. They'll use every form of manipulation to get in your pocket, even crying. I'm concerned by the idea that men would just be chimps if they couldn't throw a nut into a reasonable facsimile of a woman. Why aren't you more concerned with the soulless consumerism driving the leviathan that is actively cutting you off from happiness, so they can charge you for a chance at it?

If anything gets done in my home, I did it. I'm the only one employed. The only one with a car, and license, so all shopping is on me. All repairs, projects, or big cleaning jobs fall on my shoulders. Managing the bills, running side hustles, setting doctors appointments, me. All my nest mate does is cook dinner a few nights a week, make grocery lists, and pat herself on the back for holding it all together.

Yes, but also no. Gonna be a piece of shit, and make a sport analogy. A guy could be lugging a heavy bat, but nobody is ever gonna know if he never brings it to the plate. He could have a phenomenal swing, but somebody has to pitch to him to find out. Unfortunately, there are no talent scouts in dating, so women rely on the famously unreliable bde system to find casual sex. If you look like a slob, nobody will know you're Babe Ruth kinda thing.

That argument kinda falls on its face when you watch the average man try that lifestyle for themselves, and end up more alone than ever. Sure, the women banging the dudes who bang multiple chicks are also banging multiple men, but all those men are usually clones of each other. The door is still closed to most men for casual sex no matter how many partners women have.

Only slightly off topic. We are all undervalued for our contributions. That's why I do not look down on a housewife. My job felt important when I got to be in their shoes. Regular work is painful, and soul crushing, and it really doesn't matter if you're good at it. Keeping a home is nice. It's like a garden you tend. When you are the worker your contributions are invisible to your family because your emotional, and physical labor was spent on somebody else.

I can only remember my mom telling me one thing about women. We were watching Lethal Weapon 2, and it was the scene where Riggs is hitting on some chick at a super market. She keeps trying to shade him, but he harasses her into a date by taking her food. My mom said, "th…

First off, I'm sorry your relationship with your mother was so detrimental. Your situation is what I meant by the "overbearing matriarch". Also didn't intend to imply my examples were a comprehensive list of ways a mother can damage her boy. What you describe is far more common. My own experience was the "man of the house" scenario. Honestly have the best mother in the world, but once dad died, what little childhood hadn't already been stolen was over. Somebody had to be dad for all those younge…

Hyper specific, but not nearly as uncommon as you'd like. It's the way things have been done a helluva lot longer than we're trying to do them now. The presence of a father is near essential for a boy to have a real childhood.

It's really only an issue with single mothers, or families with an overbearing matriarch. The most extreme example would be to take a look at the very consistent descriptions of the mothers of serial killers. In my own life I've experienced mothers basically selling their sons to gangs, putting him on a corner with some crack to be a man. Once the father figure is gone, many mothers nominate their eldest boy to take over duties they're not ready for. All the duty, but none of the authority of an…

I didn't think I'd have anything to add on this thread, but you just reminded me of one that both sexes are going to hate. Women report little satisfaction from casual sex, and they're almost exclusively going for hot guys to have that sex. Therefore, hot guys are trash in bed, and women are terrible judges of men despite thinking they're experts.

A guy can respect women, and still want to feel lusted after. A lot of dudes don't seem to get that out of relationships though, and it leaves them feeling settled for. A few have the right amount of luck, smarts, and game to maintain a ltr with a woman that makes him feel desirable; more often a chick treats that dude like a vending machine that doesn't give back change. She's going to put just enough kissy tokens in until he dispenses a relationship, and not a penny more.

I think there's a lot of accuracy in your ruminating. A woman that I don't talk to recently went out of her way to compliment my shirt color. The inability to accept kindness without it piercing deep.

My parents were chill by 80s standards, and I still got the buckle end of the belt on occasion. My sisters never got so much as their hair tousled though. Not like I'd want them to be hit, but I couldn't help but notice the double standard. It left me with some unpleasant conclusions. A few women in my life have confirmed how common it was to be aggressively pursued by older men when they were kids. It makes me worry about my daughters. It makes me hate people.

That they're so transparently full of shit makes it that much more frustrating that so many are taken in by it. Maybe the sort who recognize a leader are as rare as leaders themselves. People seem more content to be simply told what to do rather than judge who's setting a good example to follow. Like, it takes a certain amount of leadership to follow a leader. Otherwise you just end up with a boss.

Dude nearing forty, and I date in my age group. Relating to people is difficult enough without a generational gap. Not red pilled either, I'm poly pilled. My insecurity lays in the fact that when I'm fifty, fifty year old women will be dating forty year old and younger men. Who told you "alpha males" are able to consistently satisfy women in bed? Did a self described alpha male tell you this? If these guys are the one hooking up, and most women don't get off from their encounters, that kinda says that your typical alpha is trash in bed. Probably too selfish, unable to read cues, doesn't care if they feel safe enough to let go. If a chick wants to dance on the ceiling she is better off finding a guy with low self esteem, and big hands.

I'm thoughtful, and reliable. I go out of my way to learn everything I can about my partners, and enrich their lives. More than one of them has told me that I raised their standards of how they want to be treated both in and out of bed. Yet I'll probably never experience true committed love. I'm just some fun for a time. Not like I feel used, or disrespected. It's just that I thought I deserve a life partner, but I am clearly deluded about my actual worth. I'm not sure how to fix it. Some day in…

Three separate women have threatened to makeup accusations against me. One wanted sex, another wanted to not break up, and one did it just to win a petty argument. I gave them what they wanted each time because the threat is as real as a gun to your head. They were all very smug about it too. Not that I would trade places with some chick getting thrown down stairs for refusing some guy. Just trying impress on you that it is much more common than you would imagine.

My fwb is wife material. When she's committed to a guy we are just friends, period. When her man upsets her, and she calls me, we aren't planning a fuck session. We discuss how to get her needs met within the confines of the relationship. It's understandable that someone would feel threatened by their SO having such a close friendship with a sometimes-lover, but it's not going to work out anyways if there's no trust.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 10:16 AM

Most of the women I date have more money than me, and are fast to offer it if I mention something I'm saving to buy or do, so you're not off the mark. I can't stand feeling indebted though. Thing is, I'm not soliciting for gifts, or help, so if I did want to be a scumbag, I don't think I'd have to make much effort. Anything I can do in that arena, your average woman can do better. I think most chicks are going out of their way to not hustle dudes.

The use of "every" here wouldn't be an absolute, at least not as it's phrased. To say women of every sort is not the same as saying every woman. Like if you were to say "smoking is a habit that people of every sort partake in", you wouldn't be implying that every person smokes.

To answer your third question; it's because women with bpd love bomb their targets of affection. Even the so-called alpha male 20%ers will receive very little in the way of encouragement, compliments, or acceptance for their flaws. This leaves many men vulnerable to the tactics women with bpd employ. Maybe vulnerable is the wrong word. More like "in need of" the tactics women with bpd employ.

Do you have any idea how much fucking goes on in nursing homes? Put your ear to any given door, and you'll hear what sounds like somebody running in corduroy pants.

You call that low ball? Oh, sweet summer child, let me tell you about a little thing called the thirteenth step...
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/22 09:37 AM
1

"Any" was an important qualifier. You know how when a certain type of guy hits on a chick, gets turned down, and immediately rationalizes that she must be a gay? That's what it sounds like when you say any man not interested in you must be low T.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/22 09:05 AM
2

That sounds like a huge cope for explaining why any particular man isn't into you.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/22 10:45 PM

You are not a man, and cannot confer masculinity. Some men simply aren't interested in you regardless of their hormone levels.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/22 10:33 PM

You're assuming a guy you're banging is the same around all women. Some dudes just have a type that brings that out in them.

Doesn't really matter if women find him attractive since women don't approach. Often the line between a 25 year old virgin, and a slay king is number of attempts.

Took me seven years of driving across the damn state to get custody of my kid from a woman that hadn't seen him in five years. Seven years of missing work, and tens of thousands of miles of wear on my vehicle. That's a undue burden.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/22 11:54 AM

I've been married ten years, and have several committed relationships besides that. Can't really say I'm RP though. Some of it scans, but it's also fatalistic, lacking much nuance, and marks you as a pariah for even entertaining. People regularly get mad at me for even participating in this sub.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/22 02:56 PM
1

This sounds like a better deal for men if they just marry their homies though.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/22 11:21 AM

I think the women in question work really hard to convince themselves they're attracted in the beginning if everything else is ideal, and options seem limited. Most people can't lie to themselves longer than they absolutely need to though.

You'd get it from a psychiatrist. These intense feelings of persecution from such subtle things are something you'll want to relate to a professional. I really don't like shrinks, but I think they're your best bet. You're at the age where certain mental illnesses become apparent.

My first real relationship was with a pro who described herself as a cock aficionado. She effortlessly ran the entire crazy bitch playbook on me like an NBA team showed up at an elementary school for a pickup game. Her defense was impregnable, her offense was impetuous; I never had a chance. Still finch when women make sudden movements.

Don't nag. It's really that simple.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/22 11:31 AM

Easy enough, she never shuts up about them. We have a sort of one way don't ask/don't tell policy where she can come to me with, or about anything, but I have to keep almost everything to myself. Like, if she learned I took a date to mcdonald's, she'd never set foot in one again, and would have an emotional breakdown every time we passed one on the road. Can't even send her music links because she's afraid I might have found it from another woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/22 03:30 PM

No way, my wife is aware of all my girlfriends, and they're all aware of her, and each other. It wouldn't be hard to catch me anyways when my Facebook friends are almost exclusively women I'm sleeping with. Lying is something I find difficult to forgive in others, so I try my best to not be a hypocrite.

I like a chick who can tell a story. She doesn't have to be a great orator, but she needs to know the difference between molesting my brain with a 20 minute bird walking diatribe about an inconclusive argument two of her friends had, and something actually worth hearing. It shows they have a sense of novelty that they can notice the interesting things. A partner was telling me story about her childhood the other day. She hit from point to point with attention only to the details that mattered, o…

/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/22 04:26 PM

Guess you're right. Women have been voting to go to war longer than men have been able to opt out of fighting. I was trying to be generous though because it's not a contest.

Masochism isn't the same as being a sub/slave/bottom. If I can't find a chick to punch me, I can masobate with a box cutter, or lighter. A sub needs a dom; they have no solitary alternative.

Dude, you do not need to be anywhere near the top 5% to be ethically non-monogamous. Like, I'm a total loser, and all the women I'm sleeping with are aware of each other. Some of them are friends on social media. It takes a little longer to find the right ones, but at least you don't have to stress over keeping up a lie.

More than one woman has used a bait n switch on me by claiming to be compatible with my kink only to claim they thought I was larp'ing, and that they are not at all ok with participating.

"Poly and partnered" is the first thing in my bio. It's not a brag. I just don't want to spend energy on some chick who's not ok with my lifestyle. Besides, I don't trust most women to receive that news gracefully, so it's better to give them their reason to left swipe right away.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/22 05:12 PM
1

Not loving your partners is a direct contradiction to poly. That would just be nonmonogamy.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/22 04:34 PM
2

You kinda have to advertise it if you're dating though. It's considered one of the most unethical things you can do in poly; to not bring it up before the first date.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/22 03:42 PM
4

All that stuff is designed to make someone insecure, and dependent on your approval. Somebody with multiple partners is not going to be very vulnerable. Sure, you might be able to put her off her game in the moment, but she's going to go over it with her other partner/s later, and realize you're an asshole.

Most of us use face razors because all the alternates are pink. I personally swallow my pride, and use the shick intuition. You don't have the issue of bulging veins to work around. You hit one of those guys, and you're done. That's your whole day there trying to stop your dick from bleeding.

They were also averaging around 5ft6in. Have you seen a 5ft6in statue that wasn't just a bust relief? Maybe statues of gods, and emperors aren't the most accurate thing in the world, but I wouldn't expect you to get that.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/22 07:13 PM

Yeah, I don't recall creatine shakes, and deadlifts being a part of the training regime of Caesar's legions, but maybe that was lost in the translation from Latin. Extreme bodybuilding is like circumcision. Deforming, and lessening yourself to conform to the warped feminine perception of masculinity. Making yourself into a caricature.

You're literally trying to do it right now.

The primary use of crying for women is emotional extortion, so seeing a man do it sets off alarms. It's like how liars always feel they're being lied to.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/22 06:13 PM
6

I once pretended to cry on the phone with a chick I wanted to dump me. Something really bad had happened to me, so it was a reasonable time to cry, but I'm also dead inside, and physically can't without massive amounts of booze. It worked swimmingly. She acted all concerned, said she'll call me in the morning, and I never heard from her again.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/22 06:06 PM

Who wrote pretty much every romcom, love song, and power ballad in existence? When women sing about love, it's usually about revenge, or the unworthiness of a man.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/22 03:38 PM

That is the question, but I can't say we've done a bang up job with it either. Most of my ideas on how to fix it range from offending people's sense of "fairness", to draconian moral policing, so I'm the wrong one to ask.

I think sex workers, and johns are sad, empty people, and their practices damage the mental health of everyone involved. I didn't look at your history. Your history is wafting off you like smoke from a house fire. You have this free floating anger about oddly specific, theoretical behavior of men, and you're surprised I guessed it's about your ex? Maybe it's because I have a narcissistic psycho ex too, and like recognizes like. Whatever the case, I do agree that hardcore porn messes with the minds of people who consume it. Sorry you've ever felt some pressure to live up to it. I think your anger here is misplaced …

Pretty sure you'll find more people willing to believe pro wrestling is real than porn. Strike that, you'll probably find the exact same amount. Something informs that porn though. It wasn't made in a vacuum. It's attempting to mimic something that exists, so sometimes it's going to look like it's life imitating art when it's the other way around.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/22 07:10 PM

Ok, good to hear. Your unprovoked, abrasive defensiveness, and weird insistence that any woman who doesn't act like you is faking gave me the impression you've spent your life fucking through a blanket. Glad that's not the case.

Two out of five insults landed, but I don't take it personally outside of some retarded sense of empathy I get for the weak. Escapism is escapism. Whether you're role-playing with friends on WoW, or watching porn all day. The impulse is to pretend you're anywhere, or anyone else as much as possible. It's really telling that you seem to conflate teenagers with attractive. Have you considered chemically castrating yourself before you become a problem for society at large?

I have a platonic chick friend. We bond over us both being anxiety ridden sluts that can't tell between sex, and love, but don't actually sleep with each other. Probably will eventually. It's been explicitly agreed on that the option is open, in fact. It's nice to have a friend in the meantime.

Most of my high school experience was in reform academy, so the only girls I saw were college kids going for criminal psychology degrees. Needless to say there wasn't much flirting going on. We weren't even allowed to sleep with our shirt unbuttoned, so yeah...

I think it's more that a guy's regular banter becomes game to the women who are attracted to him. The vast majority of people find me abrasive, weird, and cold, but the few women who like me say I drench their socks.

That professor is operating under the assumption that everyone takes away the same message from their conditioning. My masculinity is probably what some would consider toxic, and my closest friend at the moment is a chick.

I had an ex that felt she was in competition with any woman near me. Not sure if any of them were even attracted to me, or if it was all in her mind. Anyways, I'm pretty sure she cheated on me...

There's a lot of hypocrisy in the online poly community in regards to men with several women. It's not so toxic in real life though. At least it hasn't been for me. The only person outside of Reddit that's hated on me for having a "harem" was a monogamous bossbabe.

It helps a lot as a straight man on Bumble to be picky. Only swipe right on women that you want to know more about. That way you're ready to turn that "hey" into a real connection. It helps to tactically swipe. If you get a match, stop swiping, and extend the timer. This gives her more time to say "hey", and makes it clear you didn't like her accidentally.

The exploitation coats both sides of the toast. Spend a few days as a guy on dating apps, and you'll be astounded at the amount of, and deception levels of prostitutes. They'll give you the whole pickup experience; pretending to find you interesting, laughing at your jokes. Once they send you that Kik, or Snap tag though, you get hit with the sales pitch. Standard price is two $25 Steam cards, your dignity as a man, and some Durex condoms. The brand loyalty these pros have for durex is a phenome…

Super models are a bad example. They're not especially attractive, and they're mostly employed by gay men that see them as ambulatory coat racks, and marketed towards women as beautiful because their reptile features, and junky physique is unobtainable for most. No straight man is paying mind to that world.

My gut going into an open relationship reflected the op, but my experience hasn't. I'm far from a "top man". Photofeeler has me as well below average in the looks department. My job is shitty, and I'm the breadwinner for a family of five, so I'm always broke. Hair is falling out, under six feet tall, no style, no big ambitions, all kinds of red flags in my past, and an extremely noticeable personality disorder. By conventional wisdom, I should be home all night checking an empty inbox while my w…
