I can see your point. It might be used in a quite cruel way in divorce cases. In happy relationships, I would see it as harmless. But great point!

The shirt compares the mom of the baby to the dad. Two people. Your example is just blatant attacks on major ethnic groups. Which is why I don't think the points are relatable, and the shirt is harmless personal fun.

Doesn't really seem tasteless nor ignorant. Seems personal and like a light hearted joke between the couple that chooses the clothing. Reacting with disgust is just needlessly adding drama.

Having a problem with it is fine. But it shouldn't be the main focus of the subreddit. I don't disagree with your post, but like the other poster, I think there is way too much focus on feminism rather than productive articles for men who need help.

While I see your point, I don't think this is something that could work in a practical setting unless people follow the advice before they get into a relationship. In an ideal situation, following your advice and living in an area which grants more support would obviously be the best solution. My concern is if the move is simply due to this one factor. If there are other reasons prior to the move and multiple options, it could become the factor which tips the scale in the best of relationships. …

I don't think most people who get married think about getting divorced. Again, when kids are born you don't think that you're getting divorced. In fact, the only time you can think about moving to a state to get the benefits, it's most likely too late. So why don't people move to places where they'll get more benefits? Because it shouldn't be a frame of mind in the first place.

TIL I've been raped. Wasn't in the mood for sex, got seduced by the girlfriend (touching involced) and eventually gave in. It's hard for me to understand how such a harmless and in fact good memory is classified as sexual assault, and the girl "should be" classified as a rapist because of it. The logic is insane and the definitions needs some serious tweeking.

If the woman also got pregnant from this rape-experience and decided to keep the baby (I know, obviously couldn't happen but I'm dealing with hypotheticals), the 6 year olds parents would have to pay child support untill the 6 year old came to age.

I think it's supposed to be a way of saying that they woun't be scared of being abused and wear whatever they want. Quite simmilar to draw Muhammad day really.
