1	Ask Seddit: Do NLP/Language Patterns work? To say that that speech was what did it is a bit ridiculous. The end of segregation came about as a result of changing attitudes, sit ins, and a refusal by many people to stand for the status quo. The speech, while a great example of oratory, was not magical or solely responsible for ending segregation.
