1	The ugly truths of domestic violence I would say the issue is actually that these arguments are seen as an attempt to diminish or invalidate women who are victims of domestic violence. I once saw an awesome presentation on domestic violence statistics that was talking about how it is a much worse problem than people think it is. It didn't focus on any specific gender or make any arguments about who was more affected between men and women.
