More than a few cops have avoided helping for fear of their own safety like that because they aren't actually required to help, which is crazy.

I don't think you know how to read.

You're right, that is different, but no one is trying to say that is the same. What everyone is trying to say is that this is the same as a 19 year old man with a 13 year old girl. No one would be treating it as lightly as they seem to be in this case, when that is the same thing.

You still have to sign up, but they will not pick you unless they have to. I don't know how much weight comes into factor, I just know cuz my friend is flat-footed and normally that disqualifies you for enlistment. However, standards can and have been dropped before when reserves are low (Vietnam War).

My college gym required people to bring their own towel for this reason as well. If you didn't bring a towel at the door, then you couldn't come in, but you could buy a towel at the front door as well.

He probably did, or at least a write-up. Most jobs tell you that you can defend yourself from an attack but other than that you're not supposed to say or do anything in retaliation to someone, odds are the business won't consider this an attack where he was defending himself.

Normally water is free when it's in a glass because it's basically tap water.

This is a prettty good repost. For those who have not seen this before, or did not read the comments before. She replied to the wrong Twitter handle; @MeninistTweet, not @TheMeninistTwit.

You can always ask/demand your original ticket if you're worried about "falsifying documents."

In California if you're 20 over, you're looking at a minimim of $500, but they tend to be closer to $700.

This post reminds me of my supervisor who celebrated single mothers on Father's Day at work, but didn't do the same for any possible single fathers on Mother's Day.

Agree with this, it's how my brother does it with his kids. That way when other people come over and hand his kids gifts (like me for example), they don't wonder why Santa left their gifts in other people's homes.

Yes they do, though as you can imagine most people who are a host or hostess (waiter or waitress too if you want to bring that one up) don't really care about their titles, as it's typically not something to be proud of (no offense). Where as actors and actress prefer to be recognized as equals and feel the name change isn't fair or doesn't make sense because it's a job title. And yes I'm aware doctoress isn't a real word, I'm saying we don't make up words for other positions to identify the gen…

I understand that's what it means, but the problem people have is that it's the same job position, so there's no need to distinguish between someone having that job as a woman or having it is a man. I used doctor as an example as we dont have different terms to seperate male or female doctors, so people realized now there shouldn't be any seperation when it comes to actor or a few other titles.

Recently since it is gender-neutral, such as calling someone a doctor, you wouldn't say doctoress, but it hasn't caught on yet. People dont see a need any more to divide actor and actress, same job.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
