His son is fucking dead, what do you mean he dodged a bullet?

That's a good point. There's a niche for everything. Anecdotally, though, it seems that slightly overweight men have more universal success than underweight. What do you think?

To pull off that look you need to be tall and a rockstar though. To specify what I mean, a BMI of 27 or so is more attractive than a BMI of 17 on a man.

Being anorexic as a male is worse than being fat. Bulk instead of starve, you'll find it surprisingly easy to get ahead of the pack.

Could you elaborate on that? I meet woman through friend groups and clubs, not cold approach, but I try for 1 on 1 dates. Have I been fucking up this whole time?

Those in the CPS tend have a good idea of what happened in a he said she said situation. I'm glad I live in a country that convicts based on the concept of 'beyond a reasonable doubt'. Your life being decided based on someone "tending to have a good idea" doesn't sound great to me.

Your looks and money are status.

This is not the sort of sociopathy that leads to success. This is the short-term, pleasure-oriented type seen in unsuccessful sociopaths i.e. criminals and druggies. Even the "successful" form of sociopathy is a pretty risky path to take. You either end up really successful or in prison with the other sociopaths. So even if he wants to encourage this sort of exploitative behavior, he needs to teach her the correct way to do it, not this shitty way that doesn't benefit her at all.

I don't know what's up with these comments saying that you should let this behavior slide, or worse, encourage it. I get it, women are horrible and can get away with anything, so you should encourage your female children to be as sociopathic as possible. Except they can't. The sort of attitude this behavior cultivates will leave her a failure of a human being. Maybe romantically there will be people who put up with this sort of behavior, but these gross displays of sadism won't serve her well ac…

Withdrawing attention is how you deal with badly behaving women that aren't family. You can't just ignore a kid when they do something wrong, that just lets the problem fester.

It's not like the book club is the only self improvement they're doing. It's just another small, beneficial hobby to add to their list. What they do outside of that is up to the individual members. Change doesn't usually happen in leaps, but baby steps.

Show him the necessary surface politeness, but exit the conversation as soon as possible. Avoid interacting with him as much as is possible. Especially avoid a confrontation with him if there's going to be drinking at some point during the events. Oh, also, I've been caught by this one before, but ignore any of his attempts to make an apology. Just politely tell him you're there to celebrate your friends' weddings. People do this so often. By apologizing in a public space, he's trying to reduce …

Staying friends with a guy who has shown the capacity to assault you is like staying in a relationship with a girl who cheated on you. Rest assured that everyone in your friend group knows, or will know soon, that he attacked you. Every time you hang out with him from this point on, you'll lose respect from everyone you know. How can you still consider hanging out with a guy willing to try and dominate you so overtly? You're like a battered woman, coming back for more.

I think there are a couple of things involved in this that make it different. You are going to them of your own accord, not being pressed for an apology and responding subserviently. In addition, you don't really have much dominance in the teacher/student scenario anyway so you don't have to worry about losing it. It's okay to own up to mistakes to people in positions of power over you (still try to avoid "sorry", that's a loaded word), it's not really a good idea to do so with peers.

What the fuck, your friend got stabbed? A guy was willing to murder, just to be a white knight? What goes through the minds of these people, honestly...

Say what? What are your random interactions with strangers typically like that make your mind automatically jump to throat-punching?

If you don't know about something, don't write about it. That's how misinformation spreads and how you end up with a bunch of people spewing bullshit about something they know nothing about.

I don't think that's what he was going for. I got the impression that he was being humorous, and I thought his writing style was quite funny.

People with similar qualities tend to congregate. You are more likely to hang out with other poly people than non-poly people are likely to.

Anecdotes. Polyamorous relationships are not the norm by any means, and are almost as bad for civilization as promiscuity.

I asked a girl I had been flirting with for a while out to a school dance, but it turned out that my friend who had never even talked to her before had asked her first. At the dance, he basically immediately dumped her and left to hang out with other people because he wasn't in the mood that night. Queue tears. Then she has her friend tell me that she needs me, and I go and comfort her like the spineless bitch I was. I continued to pine after her for another year, and I never ended up getting an…

Most of the people over there call her out on her bullshit, which is nice. I laughed at "I find men age much more poorly than women" though.

First off, I think the message that guy sent is completely fucked. Second, I like how there's no proof he's RP, and yet they eat that shit up.
