Simply put, it is the fear of rejection.

Does reading the sidebar lead to general TRP knowledge?

Take that sexual energy and use it to develop yourself in another area you are interested in.

Found out a few days ago one of my friends fell for this lie. Now she is pregnant. Always wrap, at the very least for STD protection.

I have no interest in both parties ganging up on me if I intervene. The legal system is also against me as well. Not worth it.

Welcome to the anger phase, enjoy your stay. You lost frame both times, you just didn't say anything out loud the first time. If the bus was full and you were aware of it, why didn't you move your bag without being promoted? You're an adult, act like one. You also need to learn how to deal with people in customer service. Being rude to them isn't going to get you what you want. But then again, the anger phase can do this to a person, so learn from it and move on.

Indeed. An excellent example of appealing to the people of the group instead of focusing on the content and learning opportunities presented.

In order: "K", soft next, do something else. Don't let a cancelled plan fuck up your night. She is not worth wasting a night over. It sucks to hear but she had better plans and took it.

It is the next big thing to get attention. Once too many women do it and the attention isn't there anymore, they will find something else. It is sad to whore out such a wonderful bonding moment with your child/children for a few likes/comments.

If they are adding me as a Facebook friend and I don't already have their number, I add them as a friend. Then I message them giving my number and telling them to text me. Give it a day and if they don't text me, they get removed. If they are truly interested, they will text you pretty quickly.

Well keep trying til you get something. You start getting in a holding pattern and you will start to orbit. Be quick as you might already or are close to being considered an orbiter in their eyes.

It is clear he is looking for the "green light" from this sub to continue what he is doing. While I wish him luck in his endeavors, he is essentially hunting for unicorns and putting mormon women on a pedestal.

While I did read the whole post, I knew by just reading the title what the answer was: No. Only for the following reason, if you don't have oneitis for her now why are you still treating her differently than any other women? The more experienced members might be able to give insight if this is a ploy to get you to orbit and pedestal her again.
/r/askTRP12/03/15 04:28 AM

I understand your thought process but religion or not; AWALT. What about your children? You might go through the motions of being a Mormon but they will be raised as one. Are you okay with that? The frustration and sense of hopelessness with women is understandable but do not let it make you desperate. However, good on you for doing a little research. You need to do much more though.
/r/askTRP11/03/15 11:19 PM

This all reeks of desperation. You are willing to make all these changes knowing the fundamental concept of AWALT? Don't get me wrong, their concepts of family and community is great but the way they go about it is wrong. Also, this post and your responses seem more of a method to justify a choice you have already made and not an inquiry.

And it was failed. Why does he care what she thinks is ideal? I am guessing he is just having sex with her, not establishing a relationship. The only reason his ears perked was because it hurt his ego. Enough that he needed to tell us why he is above average, going so far as to talk about dick size. You don't need to be his or hers definition of above average to pull chicks, especially 6/10s. It makes it a lot easier though. You can take a step back and realize it doesn't matter what she thinks.…

Your comment got me thinking: TRP - "Be the change you that you want to see" Then could the MRA be the " Top/Down" approach to solving large problems? Honest question as I haven't really researched MRAs throughly.

Is this the whole conversation or just a piece of it? I don't get why you said the things you said. You seemed butthurt, which might explain why she sent the "its just a joke" message. Ignore.

"I've been alpha for about 4 years now and have banged 50+ chicks. Just all around having fun. Nothing serious, and always on my terms." For the current OP and future OPs, when you start a post like this, it is automatically assumed false by the readers and only makes you look foolish when you begin to clearly describe how you are not said "alpha". The people on here don't care how "alpha" you are. If you have a good question, the subreddit does a great job with offering advice. Why would you le…

A staple of these RP subreddits: "I am an Alpha" and then immediately proceeds to say how they aren't. I will freely admit I am not one but I am trying to learn the behaviors of one to better my life. People need to stop trying to say they are alpha to impress everyone here. We don't care. Most, if not all of us are here to help but will call you out when you mess up or call yourself something you aren't. /u/asd1100 does a great job saying where you messed up. A few things: So who nexted who again? Don't plan on her calling back because she won't be. Stop hoping for her to call back so you can have your moment telling her off. The fantasy you have in your head about telling her off will not benefit you. And on the off chance she does call or message you, don't respond. You don't time for her anymore. You need to think about what you are saying. She wounded you? Really? For her to have made such an impact on you for skipping out on a date speaks a lot …

Lol. Do you think I care if you laugh at me if I have an umbrella in my drink? I order what I want to order. Whatever you do, own it and have the confidence to back it up. Your friend gave you a shit test and you failed. I have never had anyone say I am a wuss for putting cream and sugar in my coffee. And if they did, I would laugh and agree/amplify. Tldr: you don't need a "manly" drink, you need confidence.

What a poor argument. Taking your argument to the logical conclusion, you can get your sexual needs met without a woman as well. I just saved you the trouble of dealing with women at all! No need to thank me. I will point out that being angry is not contingent on the situation being unfixable or unalterable. However, if that is the definition of the Anger Phase, I will adjust my stance to say that you are still angry and best of luck getting through it.

I am glad we agree that it is not the RP philosophy that is not causing the issue. At this point I will be blunt. Stop trying to help people with their relationships. You are clearly not in the position to do so and have proven this by losing or letting multiple friends go. I would also do some self reflection and see if this pattern could be similar in other situations where you try to help. Trying to help too much can be a worse burden to the person than not helping at all. I know this from pe…

I'll say two things again: Presentation goes a long way. You are trying way too hard. Sounds also like you are giving unwelcome or untimely advice and butting in when you shouldn't. Being good friends has nothing to do with this issue. It sucks seeing your friends hurt but your method is only reinforcing their negative behavior at the cost of your friendship. You attempt to help them as made them and you worse off. At this point, the issue isn't about dispensing RP knowledge but how you interact…

AKA, you tried to force them into RP. Basically telling them the way they do things is wrong in a "matter of fact" way might come off as someone with a superiority complex. If you are losing friends because of this, you are trying way too hard. You can't force people to do things, RP related or not. There are already posts like this at mention you need to use humor as a way to ease people into RP if you are just going to try to help them. Even then, it is ultimately up to them to use the informa…

So? This is exactly what Arch's post is telling us not to do, let it affect us. We should be happy that TheBluePill exist. Like /r/TwoXChromosomes, it provides another way for people to find this subreddit. We have already seen examples of people discovering TRP thanks to TXC becoming a default.

You are looking at this wrong. He could pay child support and see his boy rarely or pay and see his boy all the time and positively affect the boy's life. I see only one obvious answer. We sometimes don't always get the perfect answer to our problems. I know(and think we all know) several people that would pick TVTestPattern's solution if offered to them. Be happy that TVTestPattern has the opportunity that some only wish they would be given, even if it is not the most ideal.

Putting all this energy into this "unicorn" by "just become awesome" and sabotaging her relationship is totally RP, right? Or Tell him how it is and hopefully he will deal with it while moving on by continuing to improve himself and enjoying his current 3 plates? Have you even considered the cons when trying to sabotage a relationship? Here is a few: -Pissing off the BF (could lead to a variety of bad things) -Pissing off the "unicorn" (in which case, the lesson you are trying to teach is lost) …

I understand your frustration with this starting to become seduction2.0. I am also tired of people posting without even attempting to read the sidebar and other pieces of information provided on these sub reddits. But leading people in the wrong direction to teach them a lesson is not the way to do it. We tell it how it is here, right? We don't need misdirection and tell people what they want to hear. STOP! Isn't what you are doing contrary to what TRP is? The pill is bitter. Tell him how it is and let him make the decision on what to do with the information. Being deceiving or whatever it is you are doing to get him to try something is (at least in my thinking of what TRP is) not what we do here. Telling him to passively or actively sabotage a relationship comes with risks that you just happen to leave out. This is not good advice literal or not.
/r/askTRP12/06/14 06:42 PM

No, just no. DHV is the only good advice you have in this comment. The first one comment, except the last part seems spot on though. OP doesn't need to wait for unicorn's bf to fail. Improve self and get plates(as you suggested in first comment) should be the priority. OP doesn't need to accelerate the process of this failure. I am still reading and learning TRP and I have yet to come across something that says to sabotage a relationship so you have your own with a unicorn is a smart/good thing …

Follow good hygiene and keep clean. Pass that, it doesn't matter. When I actually cared about what women thought about this, I did all three, (untamed, trim, shaved). But every single time I kept up on my hygiene. Do what is comfortable for you. Edit: Grammar

Think about it, I've dated her for almost 25% of the time i've been living, I know nothing else. And that is the problem. She has been your world. Now it is time to get some hobbies, friends, and improve yourself.

Like an addiction, cutting cold turkey is going to suck. Deal with it. The faster you get over it, the better off you will be. Good luck!

So befriend the current bf, make him fail, then be there to pick up the pieces with the "unicorn"? Steal this advice from a crappy romance movie? OP move on. You know you are orbiting your "unicorn". These feelings you have for her will never be reciprocated. If you were to read exactly what you wrote from another person you would call BP just as we are to you right now. Sucks, I know. Been there and done that. But you can't save her.
/r/askTRP12/06/14 04:20 PM

Keep reading because this is exactly the thing NOT to do. There are many posts on how to handle this. Ask her out for drinks at a specific place and time. Make your intentions clear. That's it. No following her around where ever she goes. When she rejects you or decides to go with you and have you buy all her drinks, you will know where you stand. Sounds harsh but when getting over oneitis, it is best to get it over with quick and move on.

Sorry but you are making too big of deal about this. Are you getting something out of it? I will answer for you. Yes. She is getting something out of it to. Who cares what her motivation is? You do because you feel she should have more feelings about you with this transaction. Ergo, you have feelings for her. But she doesn't have to and neither should you.
