Men are more obsessed with other men's dicks than women are!
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/26 01:43 PM

Same question.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/26 01:43 PM

Wow, you have a really poor view of men?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/26 12:47 PM

I think a prenup solves this problem. And I have no issue signing one whether I am the primary breadwinner or my spouse is. So no it does no change my opinion.

They could you know, just stay single like women do who don't find men that meet their standards?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/26 04:07 PM
3

Never have them! I know too many people that had them with the wrong man and it's a horrible outcome for all involved, especially the children. I would not do that to a child.

https://sg.news.yahoo.com/aoc-just-revealed-her-net-163327958.html You clearly don't know what financially stable to have a child on your own costs in Washington, DC! Dear Lord.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/26 05:03 PM

And? She has been open that her health care does not cover egg freezing and being financially stable does not mean just getting by. Most educated women want to wait until the can truly afford a child. She would have to take time off from work.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/26 04:53 PM
7

Maybe she wanted to put off having kids herself until she established her career and felt financially stable?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/26 04:49 PM
8

How do you know she broke up with him? How do you know he did not lead her on to think he wanted kids, but the time was just not right yet, and she believed him? This happens a lot with women.

No they can’t. Looks alone get real old real fast.

Physically desirable people can get their foot in the door easier but they cannot maintain relationships if they have zero life outside of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/26 10:37 PM

I don't understand either.

Defy? Do you mean define?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/26 07:55 PM

Yep. Don't sit at home. If you are single and want a relationship you should never be sitting at home on a Saturday night.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/26 07:53 PM

Yep. And also it's really unattractive to potential partners to not have a life outside of solely looking for a relationship.

LOL you have clearly never dated tall men! This is just not true about penis size.

If a woman out earns a man how is she using him for money?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 02:08 PM
1

They chose them because they know the relationship will not work out otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 02:03 PM
2

That's not why. It's because a woman making more money than a man makes them feel insecure. If she makes less, that's not an issue. And men are very shallow lol, what world do you live in?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 01:58 PM
9

It shows that she is looking for a man that can afford her lifestyle exactly what I have said five times now. Men generally don't care if women can afford the man's lifestyle. Because women are not insecure when men make more money than they do. The reverse is not true. So in a relationship, most women would be fine if a man paid for expensive vacations, bought them nice things, etc., most men are not okay if women do this for them, it makes them very uncomfortable and insecure even though they …
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 01:54 PM
7

I have already explained this to you. I am not sure what is confusing for you? A man paying in the initial dating process shows that he can afford the same lifestyle as the woman. That does not mean that he will pay for her in the relationship. He just needs to pay for himself.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 01:48 PM
2

If you cannot afford dinner, then you cannot afford to date a high earning woman. Women generally want their equals. And men are more comfortable with their equals as opposed to women earning more. For example, high earning women often travel internationally a lot, go to high end eateries, own or want town a home within their earning potential . If a man does not earn enough to keep up with that, then she must pay his way, which many women are fine with, but most men are not. I say this based on…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 01:43 PM
-1

Women who want men to pay generally fall into two categories, those who want a traditional relationship or those that are high wage earners themselves and want to make sure a man can afford to be with them. It has nothing to do with "using" men for their money.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 01:36 PM
1

Yes the woman who spent $100.00 on her nails, $500.00 on her hair, hundreds more on makeup, waxing, clothes, etc is using you for a $30.00 meal!
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 01:30 PM

No it's really not. Maybe in your world but not in mine.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 01:13 PM

So you have dated my friends, gotcha lol. I swear.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 01:09 PM

My friends? No. I see the same side of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 01:02 PM

I do have female friends though and relatives.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 12:56 PM
1

Not any women that I know, but okay.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 12:48 PM
1

Just because you pay for a woman's dinner it does not mean her feelings are dependent on you paying! Men think they are valued for their money a lot more than they actually are!
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 12:39 PM
1

I think it depends. If you are the kind of man or woman that wants a traditional relationship then you should pay, expect to be paid for. If you are not then you should not. It's not a right or wrong thing it's a difference in what people want thing. I will say this though, dating is competitive for men, particularly online dating. And if you have most men paying for dates and you not paying for them, your pool is going to be a lot smaller, I say this as someone who does not think men should pay…

You sort of skipped over the volunteer work, friends, family, and having new experiences, but sure traveling and pets bring many people lots of joy. Someone who takes all of their joy and purpose from being in a relationship is always going to be miserable. I think this is actually why so many men are so lonely right now. They don't know how to enjoy life without a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/26 01:16 PM
1

I don't think this is why the women who want men to pay for dates want them to pay for dates? Who told you this?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/26 07:32 PM
6

Living life to it's fullest and enjoying it. Traveling, helping others through volunteer work, pets, your family, your friends, your work, having new experiences, I am not sure why this is so confusing?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/26 06:24 PM

Agreed.

It's not rare because she does not want to put her neck on the line, it's rare because we never see men that are attractive enough to us to want to approach them.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 02:16 PM
0

But women don't have to so why would they? I think what you are missing is it is EXTREMELY rare for a woman to see a guy that she thinks is so attractive that she wants to just cold approach him. For women attractiveness is not usually instant, it's more built upon. Women don't walk around thinking the want to sleep with random guys they see on average. So it's just not going to happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 01:51 PM

But that’s because it’s very rare that they want to.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 01:29 PM

Women do approach men they are attracted to. And if they don't its because they don't have to or don't want to. This is not complicated.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 12:38 PM

This is just not true.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 11:53 AM

You do realize you don’t have to be in a romantic relationship to not die alone right?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/26 12:42 PM
2

Well as a woman if a man rejects me I just move on. Sure it hurts, but what's the point of getting angry? I follow the theory don't make someone tell you twice they don't want you. That being said I have had men, scream at me, call me names, slut shame me, relentlessly text and call trying to convince me to date them to the point I had to threaten calling the police, and most women have had similar experiences.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 05:14 PM

There is one thing certain about humans, it's that they change their minds a lot. Think about it like this, a lot of people drank a lot in their 20s, and don't drink at all now, or maybe they loved roller coasters but hate them now. And I think what you are missing is you are presuming that just because she did it in her past relationships, she enjoyed doing it. That's often not the case. Nonetheless I don't understand why it matters? I don't know any woman that would only do things in a causal …
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 07:53 PM

You cannot grasp the fact that a woman tried something sexually in the past and did not like it so she does not want to do it now? I am confused, that seems pretty simple to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 07:03 PM

No it's not.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/26 04:00 PM

Never.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/26 03:59 PM

I think most people would agree that dating is not equitable, but the difference is I think most men think it should be and a lot of their frustrations come from the fact that it is not.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/26 03:05 PM
5

Also a woman and I think you are spot on. Only thing I would add is that I think men are more in sync on their "ratings." Like my best friend and I could both look at a guy and one would rate him a 4 and the other a 9. And men struggle to understand that.

In my original comment, no I did not. I acknowledged that both men and women have had a decrease in social skills. But you can only change yourself, you cannot change others. So if you are a man, you best bet is to improve your social skills overall, rather than trying to change the other gender.

Return for effort on what? Living your life or just dating? Because for living your life, it's social skills hands down. If you had to pick between the two (but you should not have to you can do both).

Yes they have. This is not just in the dating market, but in the workplace too. I manage a lot of Gen Z men and this is very commonly discussed.

I don't think it's a sudden change, I think it was something that happened gradually overtime. I do think technology is part of it, but I also think it's an overall societal change. I don't know the answers, but I don't think it's men's fault that it occurred. However, if they want to survive in this society, they need to adapt, and a huge part of that is learning social skills. So failure to adapt is on them.

I feel like from what I am seeing (older lady here) the younger generation of men have zero social skills. So yes they have to put the effort into learning those social skills, which requires them to leave their home and interact with women in a non romantic way as well as men. The social skills will get them to 90% of what they need to find romance. So a lot of the advice about joining clubs and groups is to get men to learn social skills, and reading social cues, not to directly get romance fr…

/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 07:30 PM

If that were true than the female lawyer in her 20s who is a 9 or 10 on looks and has everything else going for her would have 1000s of men wanting to be in a relationship with her and she does not. Additionally merit based means you somehow earned it or worked towards it. Most of the things people look for when it comes to attraction and wholly outside of that persons control.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/26 01:56 PM
3

Exactly! I mean I am fine with it? Do as you please.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 08:38 PM

But that's the thing, who is to say what "average" is. Women are attracted to different types of men. What I think is a 9, some of my friends will think is a 3 or a 5. Men get so hung up on fairness and equality in dating but they fail to realize, often when they think they are average they are actually not at all. It's not a one for one value. There are no set standards. And even presuming a woman or man is average it's fine to want someone above average, and stay single if you don't get it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 04:17 PM

Another day another post about women needing to lower their standards. They are not.

Many people do not want kids. The entire purpose of life is to live well and have fun.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 04:03 PM

If you are looking to date women also in their 20s who are childless, I would say it lowers your value substantially. But I don't have kids. But there are some women who also have kids and are in their 20s who have kids who may be open to it, or even looking for it.

I think that having past relationships helps people (both women and men) learn what they like and what they don't like. If we are talking about a woman in her 20s with limited sexual experience, then I think sure she may change her preferences, but by 35 unless women are very sexually inexperienced I think the chances of her changing her mind about things are low. I say this as a 48 year old woman. I think in this situation she's expressed her preferences, if you don't like them, or are not on b…

They want pity sex again! The only way society can be saved is for women to be tributes and gave sex with men they don’t find attractive. Welp I guess society is going to collapse cause women are not doing that.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 01:41 PM

Women give men they are attracted to social cues that they want to be approached. For men we are not attracted to many of us send signals we are not interested to avoid confusion and having to reject the man. Most men see any sort of attention from a woman they are attracted to as sexual or romantic interest so we just avoid it entirely.

Another day another post by a man about dick size. I will say again what I have said many times. It does not matter unless it's too small or too big. What is too small means the woman cannot feel it and while that will vary from woman to woman, I can tell you that what most men think is too small is actually average size. I can also tell you that men focus on their dick size a lot more than women do. Stop watching so much porn! Your minds are warped.

Physical attraction matters! I have never heard a woman even on reddit say it did not. Good luck to you on honing your manipulation skills.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 06:28 PM

Women are not mind readers and manipulators are good at what they do. I don't understand why this is such a hard concept. And women value personality, but she still has to be attracted to the guy. You have to have both. It's generally hard to become a manipulator you usually just are or are not usually directly from your own trauma.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 06:22 PM
2

I feel like we go over this daily on this thread but I will explain it again. Toxic people are not overtly toxic. They are master manipulators. You act like they wear a sign saying "I am toxic and misogynistic." It can take years for the toxicity and abusiveness to appear. And by the time time it does people may be too involved to see things straight, they may have children with that person, a marriage, etc. And being toxic is not unique to attractive, tall men. There are toxic people that are s…

I have suggested this so many times and what I’ve discovered is that men like this are not willing to take any action (including leaving the house and socializing ) unless it’s a guaranteed path to sex. And when and if they finally get into a situation where they may have a shot at sex they blow it because they have zero social skills and are so hyper focused on sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 12:11 PM

I suspect it feels the same as a woman being told she should be happy with men only wanting her for sex when that’s not what she wants? She longs for a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 11:56 AM
2

Then that’s lack of sex. Loneliness is something totally different.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 11:55 AM

Sure access to sex with men they don’t want to have sex with! Men who are unattractive or who are horrible in bed. Men who only want to use them for sex! Tell me how access to something you don’t want is a cure for loneliness? There are plenty of women in marriages and relationships having daily sex who are lonelier than single sexless women.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 12:18 PM

There are plenty sexless single women that are doing just fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/26 02:56 PM

Abusive men don't out themselves as abusive at the initial meeting. They can go months without being abusive, sometimes even years. What do they have that attracts women? Looks, confidence, all the normal things women are attracted to! They are master manipulators too. I would work on your confidence and social skills.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 01:25 AM

No but if the woman is a housewife then she’s financially dependent on her husband. Unless she’s independently wealthy. How is she earning an income?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 01:25 AM

I think women that don’t want to be housewives would choose a shorter life than having to be a housewife. I know o would. It would change nothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 01:23 AM

Because men have much lower standards for having sex than women do.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/26 08:40 PM
0

I am of that former generation and men had game and confidence.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/26 08:18 PM
1

Huh? Three years ago?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 04:30 PM
3

Have you ever dated a man? Because only then will you understand what too much work is!
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 01:11 PM
3

Nah they’d rather stay single .
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 06:34 PM
1

Except that’s not how the world works.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 05:26 PM
1

Just learn social skills.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 05:08 PM
1

Sure dating is based on random interactions still for those that have social skills it happens everyday. The ones that don’t even try use online dating and complain. But lack of social skills is why most of their relationships don’t work out.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 04:35 PM
2

Wow this generation is screwed! That’s not it at all. Every relationship in one’s life requires social skills to get and maintain.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 04:32 PM
-2

They are not the gender approaching because they don’t have to! Come on now?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 04:30 PM
0

Sorry to break it to you but social skills are still required to develop and maintain a good relationship. Sure you may meet someone online but that’s going nowhere if you lack social skills. Why are you all so scared of other humans?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 04:29 PM
2

How in the world are you going to get a date with no social skills lol! Married women and raped them ummm no.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 04:09 PM
-5

Nope . They were just not afraid of their own shadows
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 04:08 PM
2

If it can’t be done then why did past generations of men still do it successfully? Get out and be around women. Home your social skills. Be willing to be rejected.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 03:51 PM
11

The only way to learn to interpret social cues from women is to be around women in social settings where your only goal is not a romantic relationship. The mistake many men of the younger generation make is only interacting with women who are potential partners. Have true female friends, put time into relationships with them and your female relatives. Get out and about . And yes sometimes you will still get it wrong we all do but that’s how you learn!
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 03:21 PM
0

I did read your post.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 08:36 PM
-1

But it’s not an issue for the female race. They would rather stay single than date men they don’t find attractive. Men on the other hand will sacrifice these things because access to sex and relationships is just more important to them than it is to women. And this looksmax stuff is nonsense. Women don’t use your scale. You may think you are an 8 but you in front of 3 women and one will say you are a 2, another a 6 and the third a 9. Being at a certain level of attractiveness in the manosphere d…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 02:57 PM
0

Here we go again. For the 100th time women are not going to lower their standards to date men they are not attracted to!
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 02:09 PM
0

And if a woman is not attracted to average faces short guy she should what grin and bear it? Btw there are many average and unattractive men that are assholes and many attractive men that are not.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 02:07 PM
2

We should not encourage people that don't want to have kids, to have kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 05:39 PM
12

Yes they should do it for the good of society SMH. I guess men enjoy being charity cases.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 05:06 PM
34

Another day, another post about women needing to lower standards. When are you all going to get that this is NOT going to happen. I feel like if men spent as much time as they do on complaining about women's standards on actually bettering themselves to meet women's standards, they would be a lot happier.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 04:56 PM
2

They just don't call it that, but the behavior can still be on that spectrum? Look everyone throws that term around and like I said initially no one can truly diagnose it unless they are an educated provider? Edit to add by that I mean: Narcissists are more likely to cheat, so are these men posting about narcists and just not calling them that?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 07:14 PM
2

Or it could be they just are embarrassed when they do and don't complain, I am better it's this versus them not filing prey. I have seen many a man fall prey to a pretty narcissist.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 07:10 PM
2

Just because they don't complain about it, does not mean it does not happen. They are generally embarrassed and don't speak about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 07:05 PM
1

I know what you are referring to and I still laughed out loud. You are incorrect my friend.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 06:50 PM
1

Men, not clouded by emotions!? I literally just spit my drink out! Ha ha ha. You actually believe that?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 06:39 PM
5

It's the same answer as always. Lower our standards and date men that identify as nice, but that we are not otherwise attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 06:28 PM
2

Me either!
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 06:26 PM
0

Do you mean women cannot diagnose narcissism? I mean yeah unless we are in the profession of course we cannot.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 06:23 PM
5

LOL, I know when I have won an argument so I will take it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 04:05 PM
4

You sound angry bro. And no, the men that I sleep with are not all dicks by any means. Where did I say that? Being a nice person overall is attractive to both genders. Being nice solely to obtain sex, is not a nice person. I am not sure why this is so challenging for you to understand? A nice person is nice to EVERYONE, not just women they want to sleep with.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 03:38 PM
6

Being nice to a woman does not entitle you to sex or anything in return other than the same kindness you have shown her. A nice person does not expect sex in return for their kindness. Which is why again they are not truly nice people.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 03:11 PM
3

I don't think you and I are disagreeing. You know these individuals are nice people, because you observe their actions as being nice people. They don't have to tell you they are nice, because you see it in their behavior. Men who tell you they are nice people, are often not actually nice people.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 02:41 PM
2

It is a good thing to be a nice guy or a nice gal for that matter. Being nice to others is basic humanity. Being nice to women in the hopes that you will get access to their bodies or companionship is not a nice guy. Most men who call themselves nice guys are the latter, not the former. If you have to self identify as a nice guy, you almost certainly are not.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 02:22 PM
1

And death of a spouse.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 03:11 PM
2

You can get companionship through friendships.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 03:40 PM
11

I think that's the difference, men are willing to lower their standards for access to sex and kids, women are not and men don't get that.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 11:50 PM
0

Tax them? I have said this several times now but being a nice guy does not entitle you to a woman's body.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 11:40 PM
1

Not lowering our standards. Carry on.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 08:31 PM
2

Not a slogan but it is the answer, whether you like it or not. Personality is a metric but it's only part of the metric. Physical attraction has to be there too. Let the bubble pop then? At least women don't have to be in relationships with men they don't want to be in relationships with. And women are not isolated because they are single, most single women live very fulfilling lives. Men are isolated, women are not.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 08:15 PM
2

Women do not care, we are not lowering our standards, we would rather be single. You can write pages and pages about why they should, they are not. Once you accept that, you can move forward accordingly.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 08:09 PM
4

Women are not lowering their standards dude. You can write 5 paragraphs and it's still not going to happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 08:01 PM
4

And again women would rather stay single than date someone they are not attracted to, like fully attracted to, emotionally and physically. You say not 0% so would you want a woman dating you who was only maybe 20% or is 50% acceptable? How low are you willing to go? How far down should she reduce her attractiveness threshold to appease you? Here's the bottom line, you all can complain about women's standards, but they are not lowering them. The dating market is not breaking down, it's changing a…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 07:36 PM
2

In other news, water is wet. Women like men they are attracted to physically. So you would prefer she dated a men she was meh about? WTH.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 06:41 PM
4

I admit that women should have high standards in dating, yes. And just because a woman chooses a man who is emotionally manipulative or turns out to be a jerk, does not mean she did not have high standards in her choice. People that are manipulative usually are not easy to spot, that's both men and women.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 06:31 PM
2

No disagreement here.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 06:29 PM
8

Your standards are your standards and no one can force you to be attracted to someone you simply are not. Nor should they. Are the boring stable men physically attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 05:27 PM
11

Ahh so date men they don’t find physically attractive. Gotcha. Also not happening.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 05:25 PM
13

Women are trying to choose better but you all are telling us our standards are too high and we are too picky? So what is it you want? Or is it choose you?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 04:47 PM
2

Generally if you have to self identify to others that you are a nice guy, you are not.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 03:01 PM
1

No a lot do lack social skills.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 02:40 PM
1

People are attracted to what they are attracted to. Most women are not going to care if a man is 5'10, unless they are taller than 5'10 and desire a man who is taller, in that case they for sure notice, or unless said man lied abut his height. Men don't seem to want to address the real reasons they are not attractive to women. It's easier to blame it on wanting a man who is 6 foot tall.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 02:39 PM
0

I never said men are single because women can detect bad people? Men are single because they are unattractive to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 02:37 PM
2

People are going to complain no matter what. It's human nature. If you don't want to hear it, don't listen.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 01:39 PM
2

I would rather date someone I am attracted to, like most people!
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 01:02 PM
3

If that's what he wants to do, go for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 01:02 PM
4

Get taxed? What? Well then learn to be more charming? And if they get it wrong that's their lesson to learn, it has nothing to do with you. Why do you care? It does not mean by default she is going to lower her standards and date non charming men?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 12:53 PM

Not coy at all. You just don't like my answer. Women do select in most cases for moral character, it's just sometimes they get it wrong, like we all do, men included.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 12:36 PM

Women’s attention and bodies are not rewards for good behavior!
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 12:02 PM

So you agree if a woman wants a relationship she should make a man wait for sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 12:01 PM

I never said the top 2% of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 12:00 PM

And that’s exactly what women are doing.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 11:58 AM

And that’s a problem for whom? Have fun with the players I mean you’d never have kids with them or marry them and then settle down when you are ready.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 11:57 AM

So women should presume there are zero attractive men who are good guys? Sorry but that’s just not true.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 02:19 AM

Men are responsible for their actions, so yes I would blame a man for treating women poorly. I agree, and I think men need to raise their standards too.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 10:57 PM
3

Okay, then they will just stay single rather than dating someone that they are not attracted to? You cannot force yourself to be attracted to someone you are not, and I don't think most men would want a woman who did that. All they do is complain about being "settled" for. Dating is not about being equal or being fair. And women generally don't agree with the leagues men assign themselves. So a dude could think he's a 6 but most women think he's a 2.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 10:56 PM

I think that is what women are doing though, they are choosing more and more to stay single and raising their standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 10:20 PM

But no one wants to date people they are not attracted to. Women would rather stay single forever than doing that. And some are easy to spot, most are not.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 10:12 PM

You do realize that most men who are players and assholes do not present as players or assholes?! Come on now. Great so we agree women should date men they are attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 09:58 PM

Ahh so women should not date men they find attractive looks wise? And why do you presume that attractive tall men with money have bad character and short unattractive broke guys have good character? Because that’s not been my experience at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 09:46 PM

So you are saying women should be pickier, more selective and have higher standards?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 05:53 PM
2

13 14 Only 2 casual encounters ever, and one turned into a serious relationship. 10 5 years I am now in my mid 40s and dating and relationships are very low priority to me. If I meet someone that's great but I am not actively looking.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/26 05:26 PM
1

It is TRUE. That's the part you are not getting. Women can think someone is a good catch and not be attracted to him. It literally happens every single day.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/26 07:00 PM
1

A good catch for someone else, not me. Being attracted to someone and finding them attractive are too entirely different things. Again why is this so hard to understand?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/26 06:25 PM
1

Sometimes, but it's very very very rare. Edit to add: So many men want and hope this to be the case which is often why they stand friend zoned for years and get angry. Generally if it's not there it's not there.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/26 06:16 PM
2

Sure it does. Women can look at a man and say he's physically attractive but not be physically attracted to him? We are not attracted to all people that are objectively physically attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/26 06:13 PM
2

No you are making it more complicated. She is not physically attracted to him. The first step is physical attraction. You never get to sexual, emotional or intellectual unless you first have physical.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/26 05:47 PM
3

As a woman I can recognize that a man is objectively attractive and a good catch but not actually be attracted to him. Why is this so hard to understand?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/26 03:46 PM
1

Totally agree with you, I think this is definately part of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/26 02:25 PM
3

I have found, at least on this page, that men don't want to take any action unless they are certain that it will directly lead to access to sex. Learning social skills takes time, and it's about your whole life, not just your dating life, so there is no interest in doing it. I agree with you it's lazy. It's also part of modern societies need to have instant access. In generations past there was no need to learn social skills because part of life was socialization. Nowadays the younger generation…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/26 02:14 PM
0

By confidence and the ability to be social? Absolutely.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 03:44 PM
1

Okay don't ask more than one girl out in a circle if you are concerned.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/26 05:25 PM
0

Whoever told you to ask people out that you work with gave bad advice! Do not date people you work with.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/26 04:41 PM
26

Agreed. Often socially awkward people lack self confidence, which is one of the major reasons people cheat or treat you poorly.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/26 01:10 PM
3

Because then they have to be with a socially awkward guy who cannot relate to women? Just because someone has social skills does not make them a cheater.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/26 01:09 PM
1

You have to be millionaire successful to get young ladies in today’s world. And generally men over 50 with no kids and who only date younger are seen as walking red flags. And the women who want you got your success will leave you when it’s gone.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 11:23 PM
1

Toxic people are generally outwardly more confident because they dgaf.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 11:19 PM
2

I don't know who "Yall is" I just gave my personal opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 06:53 PM
1

I did not refute it because I think women are the more moral gender overall, if you have to pick one. Mature, yep probably that too.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 06:47 PM
-1

Again moral does not mean fair.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 06:42 PM
0

I don't know any woman that has said dating is "fair" it's not. Moral means being kind and respectful when interacting with the opposite gender, so let him down easy. Moral does not mean dating men just because they are "good" men, self described or in actuality. You can be a great guy and women don't have to find you attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 06:30 PM
1

Thanks for the award!
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 05:41 PM

Um no I am not, where did I argue that?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 03:52 PM

What makes you think we care though?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 03:39 PM
2

Not just moral but fair! It's like women's affection should be distributed based upon how "good" a guy is, not her level of attraction to him.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 03:17 PM
7

Pretty easy. But most don't want it. I mean it's like saying you can have all the vanilla ice cream you want for free, except you don't like vanilla ice cream.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 02:47 PM
2

FYI all 50 year old men think this.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 10:22 AM
1

And? Still not lowering them.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 10:20 AM
3

I think all genders should have standards, I have no issue with men having them too, in fact most men need to raise their standards. And women are not going to lower their standards to date men that don’t meet them. Why? Because they don’t want to or have to.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 10:38 PM
2

You say gripes I say standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 09:32 PM
6

Yep most young women refer to them as womb shoppers and boy do the men get angry when they find out it’s not gonna happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 08:26 PM
4

Your comment was to ask any older childless women. Since I fit into that demographic I answered your question. Sure not everyone is in a miserable relationship but a lot of people are. And relationships generally benefit men more than women. Well if men truly behaved like men in Rom Coms maybe a lot less of them would be single.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 08:24 PM
1

Agreed.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 07:53 PM
5

Older single childless woman, 48 if that's old enough for you and it's going great! My maternal Aunt is in her mid 70s and doing wonderful, three of her friends are the same. Most of us are thriving! Certainly doing better than we would be in a shitty relationship. And not everyone wants kids. And those with kids will tell you that many of them abandon you when you age, so it's no guarantee and we all know that men abandon sick women!
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 07:53 PM
8

Right because all those men in their 50s that want to have kids for the first time, are having zero problems finding women of child bearing years to have kids with them! Biology is not the only clock.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 07:51 PM
1

You learn to read social cues.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/26 07:12 PM
0

I think it's generally lack of socialization and not just with women or potential dates, I mean overall. Because of this they lack the ability to read social cues, which are super important in dating. Actionable, yes, get out and socialize more and not just for the purpose of dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/26 07:12 PM
8

Ahh so pity sex! Yeah good luck with that OP.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/26 04:28 PM
4

What help is he asking for?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/26 03:27 PM
13

I don’t think the idea of helping a guy with dating is off putting at all. I think women do offer advice, and men ignore it, or tell them that it is incorrect, so as a result women just stop giving it.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/26 12:51 PM
-1

You are making 100 approaches? Wow you go.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/26 01:48 PM
-1

You are wrong when you say that women don’t experience constant rejection, we do.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/26 12:10 PM
-1

I think you all are just scared of rejection, and while that is totally understandable, until you get past it, you will always be single. All it takes is one yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/26 03:02 PM
4

He's not the perfect partner if I can never have sex with him.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/26 02:29 PM
2

Sometimes.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 12:50 AM
1

Okay let me clarify then, men who only date younger women.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 10:05 PM
1

This is just not true for men only attracted to younger women.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 10:22 AM
2

I don’t identify as queer I am heterosexual.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 10:19 AM
5

And I answered your question. You don’t like the answer I get it, but that’s the answer. They are not substantially different things. If men are attracted to women with hourglass figure and natural asses that look like BBLs then that’s who men should date and yes I am fine with living in that world. People being with people they are not attracted to, the end. You don’t get too tell them who they are attracted to and neither do I.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 11:44 PM
1

I earn more than 200K if that helps you provide a point of reference. It may sound nonsensical to you, but to others it makes total sense. Two driven people tend to be more compatible.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 11:42 PM

Easy we have sex with men that we are not attracted to!
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 10:53 PM

Exactly!
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 10:49 PM

If you are asking if I want to live in a world where people only choose to be with people they want to be with based on the standards they have set, the answer is yes, of course, why would anyone not want that? This goes for men and women. Forcing people into relationships with people they are not attracted to and don’t want to be with is bad for everyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 10:46 PM
3

I think it’s more about a personality trait. Meaning if the woman is a hard working go getter, she wants a man who is too. Sometimes opposites attract and things work out, sometimes they don’t. For example, personally I would be bored out of my mind if I had OPs job, I would seek something else.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 09:31 PM

If that's what they want, go for it. Again it's none of my business. You want what you want. I have no problems with men having standards, in fact if you see my other comments, I think most men need to raise those standards. No men who has any self worth would ask a woman to lower her standards to be with him.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 07:47 PM
3

Agreed. I think counseling and self awareness are a start. It's hard, but it can be done.

I actually think that women being okay with being single is a game changer and what has created the modern dating world. In past times women would marry men and have children with them because they had to, to survive financially, or to be accepted by society. So their standards were lower. Average Joe, with average job and average salary could get a pretty woman willing to be his wife and have his children. That's just not the case anymore, and I can see why men are upset by it. And if a woman i…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 06:51 PM

I think the difference, as I pointed out, is that women would rather stay single than be with a man that does not meet their standards (tall or whatever they may be). Whereas men continue to seek out women who meet their standards don't find them, and blame women for it. I don't blame a man for not being tall, that's not his fault.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 06:32 PM

I don't think my standards are unreasonable, whether you or other men do is none of my business. It does not effect me. I think men should have standards too, most need to raise their standards to be honest, and I would not criticize them for having them or call them problematic. I think the difference is that women are fine being single if their standards are not met, men on the other hand. . .

Yes often the issue stems from childhood, it's a cycle.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 06:16 PM

Another day another post about how women need to lower their standards. Guess what? We are not going to do that, ever. If you want to blame us for it, go right ahead. I cease to understand why so many men want women to lower their standards to be with them!
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 05:01 PM

On one hand, you make good money and support yourself and your family, so honestly as long as it is legal, who cares what you are doing? On the other hand, to me personally a man with a strong work ethic is very attractive and reading this I don't feel like you have one. That does not make it wrong, just that some women may not be attracted to someone like that. You seem pretty stable in your job, but if you lost it tomorrow, would you be the go getter that is trying to hustle and find another h…

So you cannot answer the question. Understood.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 02:06 PM
3

If you can't explain it then why are you even arguing about it? Men can never explain this when you ask them, and it always goes back to them wanting women to lower their standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 01:43 PM
1

Explain to me what you think empathy means in this regard? What are you seeking?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 01:23 PM
2

We empathize, but men think that empathy means we will lower our standards and date or have sex with people we don't want to. That's not empathy.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 12:36 PM
1

Who said that? Men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 12:28 PM
6

My friend, women are a lot more complicated than that, but you believe what you need to.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 07:50 PM
6

Maybe but she will still make him wait till marriage. A woman not having sex with you early on does not mean she is not attracted to you. In fact it often means exactly the opposite. I seriously don't know where men get this nonsense from.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 07:34 PM
6

If you want a chaste woman, then hold out for a chaste woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 07:27 PM
6

So if you rather wait until marriage then you don't care if a woman makes you wait for sex. That's not what this post was about.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 07:18 PM
7

I wouldn’t even want to breathe the same air as that person, but I’ll entertain it for the sake of discussion. Yes. Why would you not even want to breathe the same air as that person? I mean if you want women to have sex with men sooner, rather than later, then your result is going to be women having more sexual partners no?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 07:06 PM

To some young women, but not most young women.

How do you get into an age gap relationship, if you don't pursue one?

Old men hitting on young women, it's creepy for the young women.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 06:05 PM

Whether she should or should not is really irrelevant because that's not what you said. Sure some younger women are clearly using men for their money (presuming of course these men have money because age does not brin money), but for most it's creepy. Young women included.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 05:59 PM
3

I think you are speaking of two different women in your comment. If a woman wants to just have fun with a f boy and not settle down, then why would she have a problem with him being an f boy or chastise those that were? Men who pretend they want relationships just to get sex are just as chastised as men who only date much younger women.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 05:29 PM
4

There are two types of men, and women too in this regard. There are people that are open to dating outside and inside their age bracket, and there are those that will only date younger. The latter are the red flags. Most men that chase young women, always chase young women.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 04:45 PM
10

I think that there are some age gap relationships that are legitimate and work out well. Those are a lot less though than most men think they are. A man (or a woman) who only dates individuals in their 20s when they are in their 40s, 50s or more is a massive red flag. Why? Because everyone ages. And if the man or woman is only attracted to young people, he or she will leave you when you age. I am not sure why this point always gets missed. Also the majority of young women think old men hitting o…

It depends and since I have only had it happen once it's hard to say. I did go on a second date with that guy that took me up on the offer, but it did not work out because we worked different schedules at the time. Because physical touch and having sex with a woman is not the same as an AI girlfriend and if a man thinks it is, then it's likely that he's not a good candidate for a relationship to begin with. But I don't think all men who seek out AI bots are like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 07:11 PM
8

In my case that's absolutely not true. I ALWAYS offer to pay.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 07:08 PM
17

Reverse that, if you are a woman and 99% of men are paying for 100% of your groceries and one is paying for nothing, who are you going to pick? It's because most other men do pay on the first date. So in a competitive dating world, more so for men, most men are going to pay.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 07:04 PM
27

Yes I always do and in close to 50 dates only one has ever taken me up on it. My offer is always genuine. I do not want to owe anyone anything and a lot of men feel like if they pay you owe them something. I had one guy text me after I declined a third date (because I found out that he had a baby on the way) ask me to venmo him for half of the meal shared. Also it's just the polite thing to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/26 05:04 PM

I think many men who feel they are at that level, actually are not and could get women in real life, if they improved themselves or tried harder. AI is for the lazy and the availability of it makes these men even more lazy. I mean I am fine if men want to do this, I respect their choices, but I also can recognize how it could be a problem overall for these men.

/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/26 08:10 PM

A woman living under a rock still knows when she is not attracted to a guy. And no one lives their entire lives offline, that's not realistic. Even if they did, they still would not be attracted to many men. Like I said it is not going to happen. It's a total waste of time to even argue it. Do you want to be the guy a woman marries because she cannot find anyone else? It seems like for whatever reason a lot of guys do.

So what you are saying is that women prefer to be in relationships with men they are not attracted to over being single? Hell no! That's just not the case at all. Women prefer to be single rather than being in a relationship with someone they do not find attractive! You seem to think that we ladies have not experienced "what we can get" enough to know we don't want it, and it does not make us happy. We have! Here is the best way I describe it when I am speaking to men who think this. Saying women face more discrimination than men, does not mean that men do not face discrimination. It just means that even when they do experience it, they are still at least 10 steps ahead of the woman in terms of society. So let's say there are four candidates for a job, all equally qualified. This will tell you a lot about how they are going to treat you, and how they are going to be in relationships. If the family is passive aggressive, that's going to be a problem. If a woman has made clear to you that she is not interested in anything more than friendship and you continue in that relationship knowing you have feelings for her and want more, that is indeed betrayal. And FYI women friendzone men pretty quickly and you don't come back from that. Are there exceptions to the rule? Sure there are, but they are rare.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 06:36 PM

If a man is attracted to a woman he should just be upfront about that, easy peasy. Women control the friend to relationship pipeline because men let them.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 06:04 PM

Based on experience I would also end a friendship with a man who expressed attraction to me that I was not attracted to. So I don't assume it's the rejected man at all. Once a man is interested and I am not, that relationship is over in my mind. I think the scenario of a man suddenly becoming attracted to a woman he never was attracted to be before is extremely rare. I think men fail to understand that when it comes to women's male friends, we see them as brothers there is zero attraction.

No I am okay with women only wanting to date men they are attracted to. If a woman feels the same way about her friend as he feels about her in a romantic way (which rarely happens in long term friendships because women usually reveal how they feel), then there is no betrayal or if there is it's on both sides. She can't say I am mad at you for pretending to be my friend, when she was doing the same thing? If she does not feel the same way about her friend, and has expressed that and felt he was …

And?

Even if she wants kids I don't think it makes sense to lower her standards and have kids with a man she is not attracted to! That will fail and it will be a bad situation for the child. There are sperm banks if she really wants a kid. But I agree there is absolutely no reason women should lower their standards, but there are 100s of posts a week hoping they will.

Being good at sex comes down to one thing and one thing only, listening to your partner. The guys that are bad at sex refuse to take direction, or get offended by being asked. Many will continually do things that other women have liked in bed, thinking that somehow that makes them "good" at sex, except it does not. It's not some fancy skillset to be perfected, it's literally listening.

In the universe I live in it happens all the time! Just to be clear dating advice is how to improve yourself, it is not lower your standards.

But the best to every woman is different. The best is not based solely on how a man looks. It’s more about how he treats her, his emotional intelligence, the respect he shows her. And as far as attraction I can’t tell you how many times I thought a man was hot and my besties did not and vice versa. I think men just don’t understand how female attraction works. So they try to make it like they feel or to force it into some logical box when it will never fit there. But women are not setting. We ar…

Sex yes. Relationships no. And why is that? Why is it so easy for women to get sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 08:42 PM

Yea that mantra is repeated on here daily. But women are not going to lower their standards to date someone they are not attracted to, that‘s really the end of the story. We would rather stay single . And as a man I don’t understand why you would ever want to date someone who lowered their standards or settled to be with you?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 08:40 PM

And women don’t use your scale! I know how incredibly frustrating that is to men but we don’t!

Women support each other and men either compete with each other or tear each other down. Just because a woman calls another woman a Queen and tells her she deserves the best (we all do) does not in anyway mean they think they are perfect.

If women want to ask men out they do. And honestly when it comes to socialization and emotional maturity issues overall men have more to work on.

I think this argument always has to begin with the fact that the man needs to be physically attractive to the woman first. Are there some guys who are single because they just are not attractive enough? Yes there are. But most of these men never get their foot in the door to even have someone determine if they have a bad personality. The men that are average on the attractive scale and can’t hold a relationship do tend to have personality flaws but so do the women! I mean we all do and we can al…

I am a lawyer and would have no problem dating someone that made that kind of money in a blue collar job, but many people in the blue collar jobs have had a hard time with dating me in the past. I think a lot of times it's less about money and more about the circles people run in. A lot of blue collar men are not into attending events, smoozing, etc. Often more educated higher earning women shy away from blue collar men because the men are insecure about dating them.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 05:47 PM

But not dating recently has nothing to do with age. I also think virgins who have never dated or even touched a woman or man have that much to offer. But we are all free to disregard opinions we don't agree with.

I agree Congress needs to be more diverse in age.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 04:51 PM

In college, sure but after that, no.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 03:56 PM

How do you know what you like or want until you have experienced it? I think dating around is important pre marriage for that reason. And also some women just don't want the responsibilities that come along with being in a serious relationship in certain periods of their lives. I don't think this is any different for men btw, I think both do and should do this. I could never marry a man I did not love. I don't seek stability from a man, I have my own.

I was a lawyer in my 20s so I certainly was not finding myself, I was working my butt off.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 08:19 PM

But that’s not what this question was. It was about her telling it to her friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 02:57 PM

Women too. Not just men. The difference is if you are committed you don’t act on it.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 02:41 PM

Both men and women have attraction to others while in marriages and relationships. In most of my relationships we would discuss this openly. Like if he thought someone was hot and hall pass type stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 02:40 PM

Absolutely because love and sex are not the same thing. Could a woman still love her partner if he was impotent or catastrophically injured and no longer could have sex? Yes absolutely. As far as being good in bed most of that can be improved with work and communication. So if the guy was the total package otherwise this could be worked on.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 02:38 PM

Sexual arousal is totally different than being the best sex partner a woman ever had and/or the best at everything she ever had. And no women are not the same in the sense that they don’t compete with a man’s prior partners in the same way men do with women’s.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 02:36 PM

Admire? Or do you mean love? A woman can love every party of you and still recognize that a past partner was better than you in certain areas.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 01:51 PM

So you are okay if she thinks this so long as she does not speak it? What if she wrote it in a personal diary? You are never going to be the best at everything. There are almost always people in the past that were better than you at things and that goes for men and women. Maturity is realizing this .

It seems like you all want a rule book. If you do X then you will receive Y. I am not sure if this a thing with neurodivergent men or just a generational thing. That’s not how relationships work, that’s not how people are. It never was and it never will be. The difference seems to be that generations of past men just rolled the dice, because they had no other choice. They knew that sometimes they would get rejected, sometimes they would be called a creep, and once in a while she would say yes. T…

Exactly.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 12:08 AM

No we would stay single. We are not going to approach men we are not attracted to! Why would we approach someone we have no interest in?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 12:07 AM

Yes this is my point!
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 12:06 AM

I still think that women who want to approach a man approach a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 12:06 AM

You do realize that women in marriages really did not make decisions back then right? It was the man, so yes the Father. And we are not just talking about marriages, we are speaking about statutory rape laws.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 12:05 AM
0

But my point is if we want to approach we do. If we don’t we don’t. Most women don’t see a guy that they are attracted to and just stand there. At the very least they will smile and be flirty.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/25 11:23 PM

Everytime this comes up I remember that we had to pass laws so men would not date/marry underage women. An age gap of four or five years is no big deal as you get older, but that’s different than an age gap between an 18 year old and a 24 year old. It’s not like you suddenly become mature at 18, heck you are not even allowed to drink yet. Are there some women that are mature, yea sure maybe, but that’s in the minority. And most women remember creepy old men hitting on us, and it’s gross. Serious…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/25 11:11 PM

Just because women don’t approach you, does not mean that women overall don’t approach men. Plenty of women do. But we have to find you attractive enough to do so.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/25 11:05 PM

And at the same time complaining that women should have more casual sex and lower their standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/25 03:40 PM
5

We don't want to be in a relationship with them. That does not mean we think we are "better" than them at all. Just that they are not a good match for us. No one should be in a relationship with someone that they don't want to be with, whatever reason that is. That goes for men and women.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 08:44 PM
7

Exactly!
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 08:41 PM
7

Exactly. Men really think we think about them a lot more than we do!
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 07:44 PM
18

So being single is again the better option. If they have not found someone that they deem good enough, why would they want to be in a relationship with them?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 07:41 PM
24

Agreed.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 07:38 PM

No it did not happen in one crash. It was slowly overtime. Maybe you just were not paying attention?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 06:29 PM
2

I graduated high school in 1995 and I can assure you that women were indeed stigmatized for not marrying and having children. Some still are. But only in the recent years has it become less and less stigmatized.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 06:28 PM
1

Confidence is a very attractive quality, to me in both genders. What does it mean? It means you are secure within yourself. You are happy with the person that you are and no matter what someone says to you or about you, you do not falter. You stand for something, whatever that maybe. You handle rejection well, and with respect. You are not co dependent, you do not need anyone or anything to make you feel secure.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 06:02 PM
1

Embarrassing for whom?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 04:07 PM
8

Does it surprise you that women do not want to be lusting over or loved by men they don't find attractive? I mean this is common sense no?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 05:29 PM
2

But you are equating sex to money and it’s not the same. Everyone wants money most women don’t want sex with random strangers because it sucks.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 12:14 AM

Exactly.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 10:54 PM

No my friend, many of us are completely celibate.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 10:54 PM

Sure I agree with you that she has more access to it than a man does but that’s because men desire it more.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 10:53 PM

Sure a 40 year old woman can get sex if she wants it. But all sex is not equal. And as a result, particularly most older women have zero desire to have bad sex. And the average 40 year old woman does not want a sex based relationship, which is the only reason that the average 40 year old man does not have as easy of a time getting sex based relationships. There are not a ton of women who want a sex based relationship, so less supply and a lot more demand.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 09:27 PM
6

I think that’s a difference between men and women. Most women would rather be alone than with a man they don’t want to be with. So they are indeed happier alone. All sex is not good sex for women. I am guessing from your post you are young. But in order to have a healthy happy relationship you need to fires be happy alone. If you are only happy if you are with someone you are always going to end up unhappy. And yes I’ve been in plenty of relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 08:38 PM

If you accept living in a non-romantical and non-sexual lifestyle, how long you think self-love and life-goals gonna keep you satisfied? For life my friend for life.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 08:21 PM
5

I think generally a man living at home is going to struggle to date no matter who he is or what he thinks his “rating” is. And I also thinks its totally valid not to want to date someone that does. Will it work out with other guys? Who knows and truly who cares. People are entitled to their preferences.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/25 09:27 PM
6

Exactly and somehow he thinks if they are younger they will let him lead! LOL he’s in for a big surprise. Not just that younger women don’t want old dudes either.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/25 09:21 PM
7

You can say what you want too, but women don’t want to be lead. So it’s really irrelevant whether you think they should be or not. As you are clearly seeing.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/25 09:09 PM
9

"You got me. It’s simply my position from experience that relationships are far better when men lead." Yea most women are not going to go for that. It sounds like you are more looking for a trad wife, and if you have trad wife money go for it. But by your age (I am older so I can say this) most traditional women are already married. No one I know that is single in their 30s or 40s would want a man to lead them.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/25 07:09 PM

Lol. Okay.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 03:21 PM

Oh but they do.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 03:06 PM

Then why do they try? Hmmm. . . .
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 02:38 PM

Right, tolerance does not mean that you want those people in your life in your circle either.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 01:58 PM

I don't have an issue with conservatives, I have an issue with Trumpers and no I absolutely will not date them. I also will not be friends with a woman who is a Trumper.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 01:58 PM
4

I agree with you that men value a woman's education and monetary success a lot less than women value men's. That being said I do think most men (unlike you) generally want a woman to work or have some sort of education. Also the issue is that finding men that can afford to be the sole provider and/or women who are agreeable to not working at all is exceedingly difficult. I mean a lot of men want a trad wife but don't have trad wife money. And as a woman who herself makes trad wife money I would …

/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/25 10:52 PM

Well then maybe date women from other countries? Or show the women you want to date that you don’t represent the stereotypes associated with your Country.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 10:24 PM

What? Dear Lord you have issues. I never said that.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 09:55 PM

Did you see the comment from the woman above living in Slovakia? I think you are wrong. And my cousins in Hungary in the city and feel the same so I dunno? I mean you asked peoples opinions and they are giving their opinions and all you are doing is trying to discount it. Why even ask?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 09:17 PM
2

Not sure but all of them have lived outside of Slovakia in major cities and returned so they are not sheltered .
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 09:06 PM

Yes this is similar to what my cousin said as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 09:05 PM

Kojsov. Generally yes. Particularly the one that lived in Canada for two years.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 06:40 PM

Bad? No. Too traditional for my taste and young cousins? Yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 06:15 PM

Slovakia and Hungary.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 06:07 PM
2

Yes I’m speaking of those I’ve encountered in the US but also based on the experiences of my female cousins still living in Eastern Europe. And if anything the men living in the US are more Americanized .
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 05:37 PM
2

Well my heritage is Eastern European so I am going to say no with w caveat. I find them to be a bit too traditional for my taste. I’m not a traditional woman and I’m not willing to play that role.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 05:05 PM
4

No we are not.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 07:33 PM
5

Not to me. With the way things are going in the US with abortion rights and birth control many women are doing this. And if you know you don’t want kids why not? A lot of women have bad side effects from birth control. And condoms alone are too risky.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 07:32 PM
8

Nope we are happier because we don’t have to deal with their BS. Look even long term happily married women are telling young women not to marry. Life is just much easier.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 07:07 PM
2

Agreed and same.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 03:55 PM
1

Burn with passion and set on fire? Are we in a romance novel here? Or high school? You do realize that most marriages don't burn with passion and set on fire for life right? I never said that friendships and romantic relationships were not different, of course they are. But if you have to pick between the two friendships are more stable and a better long term investment.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 06:16 PM
1

Where did I say I did not have love or enjoy sex or romance? That's right I did not. Being alone in the evening is not a bad thing, I mean people can be happy without having someone around them constantly, and I do have more than one friend lol. "Lived, not live. Not forever." And marriage is? considering that 50% of marriages end in divorce, that would be a no! Don't get me wrong, ideally you would have both a happy loving relationship and lifelong friends. And in my younger years I may have ag…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 12:04 PM
1

Is it forever? Absolutely! I have lived with my close friends in the past and would live with them in the future, although just not right now. Have I moved or taken a different job to be closer to friends, yep. Share money if needed, of course. In the biblical sense we have not shared a bed, but have we slept in the same bed, yep. Again I am sorry you don't have friends that go that deep. I do hope you find some. A man can up and leave you in a heartbeat. A true friend does not.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/25 07:49 PM

I am sorry you don't have friends that go that deep, I do. I hope you find that someday.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/25 06:31 PM

I think based on these responses she is likely in the majority of women. Most women would pick B.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/25 06:29 PM

Scenario B, not even a question.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/25 06:27 PM
0

I don’t think that’s what the word means. I think it’s more than just sex, so it’s complicated. One or both people have feelings and are not sure if hey want more. And FYI often it’s the men who develop the feelings and want more.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 03:13 PM
4

I don't, but I have in the past. I think the answer is different for every woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 09:21 PM
1

Umm. . . there are not.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 08:22 PM
1

WTH? No, no we don’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 07:59 PM
1

Dude you have put way too much thought into this. Trust me it's much more thought than any woman ever has.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 07:19 PM
1

Sorry but as much as you want to make this a science, it's not. What I think is too small another woman may think is average. Or what I think is too large another woman many think is average.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 06:56 PM
0

This is not a question for women, it's a question for men because men care a heck of a lot more about their penis sizes than women do.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 01:11 PM

Huh?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 11:21 AM

Same standard.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 11:21 AM

Interesting that you have asked every woman that has causal sex. And why would standards be any different for causal sex than committed sex? Most women do not orgasm from penetration so penis size has literally zero to do with if sex is enjoyed overall.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 11:20 AM

If a woman is disappointed in your penis size, than that's not the woman for you, never was, never would have been.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 06:41 PM

Exactly!!! Like I said if it's too small that we cannot feel it, that's a problem. Likewise if it's too large that it hurts, that's a problem too.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 06:40 PM

What's larger than average? Look I am not good with measurements, most women are not whipping out rulers. Again the standard is if it hurts or I cannot feel it, those are the two things and that's going to be different for every woman. Men care way more about their own size and the size of other men's penises than women do.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 06:39 PM

Every time this comes up I post the same thing and it still holds true. Women don't care about penis size unless it's too small (like we cannot feel it) or too big (it hurts us).
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 05:07 PM
2

Could have fooled me!
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/25 01:00 PM
3

Angry? Lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 02:45 PM
1

I think it was my comment that this post is about. I don’t think than men overestimate their attractiveness at all and that was not my point. Rather, it’s than men prioritize things with regards to looks that women do not and this leads to disappointment and anger in men who think that women who are their “looks match” will not date them when really they are not. And I never said women don’t like muscles, we do. But they won’t fix an ugly face.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/25 09:48 PM

The fact that he's a popular party dude makes him even more ewe.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/25 03:57 PM

Ewe.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/25 03:54 PM

Go to the gym to improve your self confidence, yes of course it's a good thing overall. But don't go to the gym thinking that just be getting muscles it will change your dating game.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/25 03:03 PM
1

But dating is not logical, and trying to make it logical only leads to frustration.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/25 02:58 PM

To be clear I am not saying that working on one's self is not a good idea, it is. But again an ugly guy is not getting an attractive woman just by going to the gym.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/25 02:57 PM

I agree. Again I am not saying muscles don't matter, they do, just that they don't matter as much as men think they do
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/25 02:40 PM

Sorry dude but women don't want a man with muscles with an ugly face.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/25 01:51 PM

But my point is you are not increasing your attractiveness substantially. You may be increasing your confidence substantially which can help to better success in dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/25 01:44 PM

I don't think women are claiming they don't like muscles, they do. I think what they are saying is that men put a lot more emphasis on muscles to the exclusion of other factors. Like if a guy is jacked but ugly.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/25 01:35 PM

It's not that muscles don't matter, it's that they matter a lot less than men think they do. And I think a lot of men have better success in dating once they bulk up because they build their own confidence, which is great. But an ugly face is not going to be made up for by muscles.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/25 01:32 PM

I think muscles matter a lot more for confidence development than actual attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/25 01:29 PM

Your words not mine. Or men could not be friends with women they want to sleep with.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/25 01:24 PM
1

No we are not. Women do not want to be friends with men who want to sleep with them or would sleep with them without if given the chance. It’s icky.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/25 08:07 PM
1

Because it almost always causes issues in the friendship down the road . And because it generally just makes them feel icky.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/25 07:31 PM
1

Because women don’t want to be friends with men who are attracted to them. That’s why! If you have to trick people into being your friend that’s not really a friend. And no that’s not the same as a teacher.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/25 06:54 PM

Some do, some don't. It all depends where she is in her life and what she's looking for.

I just had a similar conversation with a man in his mid 50s. He was saying oh this dude is an 8 and why the heck is he with this woman who is a 4. I took one look at the couple and said that dude is a 3 at best and the woman is an 8. And we went through similar couples and realized that both of us had very different ideas of what was attractive (which I already knew as I have had discussions like this with other male friends). I was more about face and hair, he was more about if they looked like…

Well since we have also established that women do not know this, men should tell them. I really don't understand how you don't understand this? The reality is that men don't want to tell them because they know if they do the woman would likely not want to be friends or see him anymore. So they would rather live in la la land and hope maybe she feels the same way and eventually someday something will come of it. And when that does not happen they get angry. There is zero harm in being upfront wit…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/25 01:09 PM
1

You are actually making my point. Yes girls think it’s weird that their male friends are attracted to them. That’s why the guys don’t say anything because they know it will make her uncomfortable generally because she only sees him as a friend. A man should just be upfront and it wouid solve all the problems. If she’s creeped out she simply ends up the friendship right away.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/25 10:49 PM
1

So being honest is weird. Gotcha.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/25 08:43 PM
1

Right so if I’m 250 pounds and 5’2 I should carry on presuming all men are attracted to me! Nonsense. Truly if a man’s attracted to his female friend he should just tell her that immediately from the jump. That would easily solve this problem no?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/25 08:21 PM

Can a relationship grow from a friendship, sure it can but it's rare and normally if a woman is interested in her friend, she tells him that. But generally once you are put in the friend zone by a woman, you stay there, you don't come back. Just like I am not attracted to all men, I know that all men are not attracted to me, so no I don't understand that a woman is attractive to a man from the start? What I do understand is that men seem to only spend their time with female friends that they are…

I think it's very rare for men to suddenly become sexually attracted to a woman they initially were not, barring some sort of huge change in her appearance. Do I think that love can grow from a long term friendship for both men and women, sure, it's rare but it happens. So here's where the explanation comes in. If you as a man reveal that you want something more than a friendship after a long term friendship, than chances are high that you were always attracted sexually to your friend. That to m…

I would say generally this is true. If we wanted to be dating our friends, we would be. Or we would at the very least have expressed that we wanted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/25 03:42 PM

I consider that pretending to be a friend, so yea we will have to agree to disagree.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/25 07:37 PM

The first guy said "I was always interested in you as more than friends, you were just always in a relationship so I never said anything." For six years! The other one was something similar but only two years.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/25 07:23 PM

I have personal experience with it, so yea they do it. I am not just assuming the worst.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/25 07:16 PM

No but pretending to be someone's friend when you have ulterior motives, is.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/25 07:13 PM

I have had this happen in my younger years with two of my very good friends. And yes I was angry at them, and I chose not to continue the friendship, not them, because I could no longer trust them and I knew that no matter what I did, even if it was just friendly would likely lead them on. Both of them were also furious with me for rejecting their advances. In one case the friendship had been six years long! The other two years. And in both cases they said the only reason they never expressed th…

I did divorce law in my early legal career and I agree rigid people have huge issues in relationships. But addiction, cheating and mental illness were also huge causes. Also people who outgrow their partner rather than growing with their partner.

Sure, but it's not common.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/25 01:04 PM

Very well said. But you are correct I don’t think they want any answers unless that answer is that women they are attracted to are going to just come up to them hit on them, have sex with them, and marry them without them having to make an efforts, or have any social skills. That‘s not how life works. They are so scared of their own shadows and cannot figure out why they are unable to develop relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/25 11:22 AM

Exactly.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/25 01:13 PM

There is no playbook for this. The only way to learn this things is to do them more often, to gain experience offline with women and people.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/25 01:12 PM

Most women I know at least would rather stay single forever than be with a man they don't want to be with, and that goes for commitment or otherwise. People (men included) can ask for whatever they want to ask for. I don't have a problem with men having high standards. I think most men should actually raise their standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/25 05:44 PM
1

Lowering their standards? So you want to be the guy a woman lowers her standards for ? Wow. And no women are not going to be with men they don't want to be with, why would either party want that? I don't understand this concept.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/25 04:29 PM
1

How should women solve men's problems? Do tell, what specific suggestions do you have? Hint, the suggestion cannot be dating or having sex with men they are not attracted to. And make no mistake women have worked for centuries to solve their problems together, without men.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/25 03:43 PM

People care, but women cannot solve men's problems. Men need to solve them on their own.

If you struggle with social skills, reading social cues, anxiety, etc. you are going to struggle with dating. That is no study that needs to be done to tell us that. I think the difference with past and current generations is that there was no internet and there certainly was no online dating, so if a man wanted to get married or date he had no choice but to learn how to be social, and force himself out of his comfort zone. Nowadays that is not happening and people (more particularly men) are le…

Sorry dude your comments show me you are beyond help. Good luck to you though.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/25 01:44 PM

What the what? This generation is doomed. That is not toxic masculinity. If you think saying hello to someone is toxic masculinity you really need to get out and touch grass. How exactly do you ever expect to date a woman if you don't talk to her? Honing your social skills by interacting with women will go along way to understanding social cues and interest.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/25 12:52 PM
1

Then honestly I think you have found the root of the problem, you need to actually talk to women! Yes you are going to get shot down, but eventually someone will say yes. And there is a way to approach women and not make them feel assaulted.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/25 07:31 PM
1

My question would be then how many women per week are you shooting your shot at in person? Not online dating, in person.

You do realize someone can be overweight and still attractive right?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/25 06:00 PM

I don't think women are lying when then say this things, I think that men need to stop looking for some sort of formula to attract women, because there is not one. Just like you say it's obvious women like their partners to be clean and nice, it's also obvious that women need to be attracted to their partners no? If a woman is attracted to you then you being clean and nice will get you beyond the first conversation and/or first date. If she's not then you never had a chance to begin with. We can…

Most women would not go to Oktoberfest alone because women don't enjoy that activity as much as men do. And even women that do enjoy that activity would not go alone (likely with a group of girls) due to the risk associated with attending an event with a lot of drunk men.

Same.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/25 07:21 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/25 07:17 PM

Does it have to play a part in it? Nope. Does it almost always play a part in it? Yep.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/25 02:06 PM

Who said a woman has had to sleep around to feel this way? Even if she was a virgin, she has eyes, she has ears, she has likely dated other men. Men who also present themselves as chaste and seek a chaste woman I have zero issues with that. Generally it’s for religious reasons. But in my personal experience men who have issues with women being “promiscuous“ generally are insecure in their own abilities and fear they will be constantly compared to other men.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/25 11:21 AM

Lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/25 10:17 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/25 07:23 PM

Being hot does not mean you are bad marriage material, but being hot also does not mean you are good marriage material. You are very looks focused.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/25 07:07 PM
3

So you really want to date an IG model lol, for a serious long term relationship? You want to marry her and for her to have your kids? It's not all about looks. And yes pining over the one that got away or someone other than your partner means you should not be in a relationship at all. Give yourself time to mature.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/25 06:58 PM
4

For whom? I don't want any of my exes back, especially the ones that broke up with me. If your self confidence is so low that you are pining over someone that rejected you, then you are going to have a really big problem in dating anyone. You need to fix that first.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/25 06:49 PM
7

Yes and why on earth would anyone ever say to your partner hey by the way I had sex with hotter guys and had better sex with other guys than you? Like when would that even come up? Who asks that? Who does that? And he has eyes, he's seen my exes and guess what I have seen his too as I also have eyes. For the rest of the response I defer to u/etzio500 who is spot on.

I think it's more of a biological response. Even babies respond more positively to attractive people. Not that I am saying you cannot override biology, you certainly can but it needs to be a conscious choice.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/25 06:45 PM

Says who? Your first choice would never be someone that does not want to be with you.

It certainly could differ among subcultures.

I mean in society overall, they absolutely do.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/25 06:20 PM

In my experience men do struggle to empathize but it's not a biological thing, it's a societal thing and I think with men being raised differently it is changing a lot.

Ditto.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/25 05:22 PM

Well first off, life is not fair. Overly attractive people (both genders) will always have advantages over the less attractive among us. Pretty privilege for both men and women is real and the sooner you accept that, the better. Second, as women almost all of us have been with someone objectively hotter than the person we end up with long term. Someone better in bed, someone smarter, someone buffer but guess what, we are not with that person for a reason. When a woman chooses you she chooses all…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/25 05:04 PM

It depends on what point am I at in my life and what am I looking for? If I am only looking for hookups then sure I would hookup with all of my exes because I found them attractive. If I am looking for a relationship then no I would hold off generally. I think this is where men get lost in the weeds. They are looking for some objective answer but there really isn't one.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/25 02:44 PM

At least in my case this is accurate. And I suspect most women agree.

I think something that young men lack today is social skills that allow them to determine when a woman wants to be approached and when she does not and the understanding and mental tenacity to know that you are going to get turned down a lot before someone says yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/25 06:17 PM

Because women needed men financially and for stability and women who were unmarried were shamed and ostracized.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/25 05:53 PM

Agree to disagree.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/25 05:51 PM

I would not say it was that easy but as a 47 year old woman I can tell you that it was definitely different even for my generation and certainly for my Mother's and Grandmother's.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/25 05:01 PM

I don't think its as easy as it used to be for average Joe's with good jobs.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/25 04:16 PM

I have to disagree with you. Men had it much easier because in the past women needed them financially. You could be average Joe with a good job and get a pretty woman. Now not so much.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/25 03:37 PM

Right. Dating for women is just as hard as it is for men, but in different ways. Getting sex is easier for women, with men they don't want to have sex with, but that's not the same thing at all. I think the men on this page confuse those two things a lot. I lose empathy for men when they insist that men have it much harder, all the while not recognizing that both genders struggle just in different ways. And when they seem to think the only way a woman can empathize is to lower her standards .
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/25 03:36 PM
1

I don't see where I said that. And it's not true.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/25 06:33 PM

I think you misread my intent. I said looks have nothing to do with why women are remaining single. What I meant is that there are a lot of good looking men, but they lack the other things that I mentioned.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/25 05:17 PM
1

Bitterness? How does it show bitterness? I just shared my experience. But if you want stats get on any social media site where lots of women are and you will see it's most women.

A Chad with none of the things I listed is not an attractive partner for a relationship. Does attraction need to be there? Absolutely but it's not the only thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/25 05:01 PM
-4

I don't think you get why women stay single. It's not about wanting some movie star looking Chad, it's about wanting men that are emotionally available, mature, financially stable, educated, kind, loyal, faithful and good looking to them. Most women looking for those things, are already those things. You could be a supermodel and still not get a man that meets criteria because looks have nothing to do with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/25 03:34 PM
-1

Huh?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/25 02:57 PM

Because we would rather stay single than settle for a man we are not happy with.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/25 01:57 PM

That is a lie . So yes he did lie. And while you or he may think it’s no big deal it’s not for you to decide what’s a big deal to her. There is a type of man that does these things and that man is a huge red flag. Women can have their preferences as can men. We can argue for days but that’s not going to change things. The solution is to date people that want to date you and stop worrying about those that don’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/25 01:01 PM
1

I don’t know dude I make more money than most men so I guess I have that to offer as do a lot of women but the difference is I would not want a man to date me for no hat reason. And yea women have personalities too! lol my goodness! If you really think all women have to offer is their looks and their bodies you need to take a serious look in the mirror! And yes men can become more attractive based on personality but the initial attraction needs to be there.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/25 12:56 PM

Attraction can grow sure but the initial attraction still has to be there.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/25 12:51 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/25 11:12 PM

She’d rather stay single. And do you want to be that man she settles for because she could not get what she wanted?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/25 06:53 PM

You are a man right? As you all always say the market sets your value . So if a woman thinks she’s an 8 and is getting 8s why would she settle for 5’s? A man in that same situation would not.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/25 04:17 PM
3

Lemme guess you are a man? Of course you think that but from a woman’s perspective I can assure you it’s true. I am sure there are some women that overate themselves but by and large it’s men not understanding how women rate themselves them.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/25 02:22 PM

I think most women are fine with 8/10. The problem is the men who think they are 8s are more like 4s or 5s.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/25 02:00 PM

She's just not interested in you and she does not want to deal with having to explain why, going back and forth with you while you try to convince her she's wrong, and/or she's had horrible experiences in the past with how men react when she rejects them.

I personally do not think healing myself is sleeping around. But I think what they mean is being selfish, doing what they want when they want and putting themselves first. Women who are in relationships often fall prey to putting themselves first other person first. So the man is putting himself first and so is the woman. It may involve sleeping around for some but focusing on the sex part is misplaced.

I don't know that this is true, but if it is I would think it has to do in part at least to the fact that men believe that working out and getting a nice body is a key to getting a woman. I would never want to be in a relationship with someone that did not trust me, it's really that simple. No one wants to be in a relationship with someone that does not trust them. You all argue and debate this day after day, but the answer really is that simple.

She's going to feel like you were pretending to be her friend to get closer to her. So if she's also interested in a relationship, great, she will respond positively no matter how you say it. If not then you will have lost the friendship. Even if she does not end it, you need to end it for yourself. You need to be honest immediately.

So you pay your female friend's bills? I have plenty of male friends and they have never paid my bills nor would I ever ask them to. I do have female friends I have lent small sums of money to in a pinch, and I never expected sex from them. If this is how you see women, that's a problem. Intimacy by the way is not just about sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/25 08:58 PM

It's not a partner's job to make the other one feel secure. If you need that you are by definition insecure and need to work on yourself before getting into any relationship.

LOL K. Not arguing with you anymore you just want to believe what you want to believe so be it. This is how this whole thread works. Ask women, women give answers and men say no that’s not the answer, so what’s the point?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/25 09:00 PM

lol okay! We don’t . You all are so obsessed with your dicks and want us to be! We are not. Why do you think we don’t want your dick pics?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/25 08:10 PM

You really think women are willing to put up with pain for status? And how? Who’s going to know? Women don’t love dicks like men do.

No no it's not. Are you a woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/25 02:18 PM

Very few women like the pain. I know women who have ended relationships because they were incompatible based upon this.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/25 02:06 PM

I think for most women it does not because it’s less about how it looks and more about how it feels. Too big hurts.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/25 12:20 PM

I think the simple way to say it is that a woman knows immediately when she meets you whether she will not sleep with you and a man knows immediately whether he would.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/25 02:59 PM
2

I think most men know that the women in these cases are not interested in them, but they want to hang onto the hope for as long as they can. If they were honest and upfront then that would end their hope and their dreams.

I get that some men develop feelings later on in friendships, but do they develop physical attraction suddenly when they never had it before after years? Unless the woman changes her looks a lot? I think the difference between men and women is that most women would not sleep with their male friends, most men would sleep with their female friends. So when a woman is friends with a man for years truly thinking they are friends and then al the sudden they reveal this it’s a breach of trust, like wh…

I know every woman is different but for me I know within the first hour or so of meeting someone whether I absolutely could never find them attractive romantically, like no matter what they did or said, it was just not there for me. There are however many men where I was not sure or on the fence and after getting to know them they grew on me and I did become attracted to them. It sounds like OP knew immediately she would never want anything more with this guy. And that’s been my experience too.

As a woman I agree totally and have gotten into quite a few debates with men on here about this. They keep saying I am a 7 and I should date at least 7s, but women are like no you are a 2 and the guy you think is a 2 is actually a 9. I think it comes from men's desire to have an objective level of measurement but that's just not how women work.

I agree there is a loneliness epidemic with the younger generation specifically (20s, 30s) and I think it does effect men more than it effects women. But I think the problem lies with the fact that men think that women need to be the solution to their problems, and that's why they receive the backlash they do and lack of empathy. And by that I don't just mean they think women should take actions, they also mean that if they had a woman it would solve all of their loneliness and life problems, wh…

I agree and I think most women feel this way. Guys want to make it something sinister like she's using them for something when in reality she is treating them the same way she treats all her friends, it's just that men don't treat their friends the same as women treat their friends and as a result men confuse women's genuine friendship as something more. Emotionally connecting, etc. that's friendship to most women, it's a relationship to most men.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/25 01:19 PM

Going out does not mean you have to go out to a club dancing or drinking. It could mean a coffee house, volunteer work, a store, your church, a friend's home. Okay then men can just sit at home and complain, sounds like a good plan.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 07:48 PM

There are 24 hours in a day, socialize could mean go to the grocery store and compliment someone, that takes what five minutes? When I mean out, I mean outside of work.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 07:47 PM

So you stop trying? All you need is one yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 06:28 PM
5

Well it does require leaving the house to be social, but not necessarily going out to clubs. And no advice to go out to clubs and wait for something to happen is not good advice. You cannot just stand there.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 05:22 PM

I agree. You only miss the shots you don't take. But not just going out for purposes of dating, just putting themselves out there in social situations.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 04:23 PM

If someone wants to meet people yes they need to be social on a daily basis.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 04:22 PM

So what you are telling me is that every single guy looking to date is out doing things every night of the week? Nonsense.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 02:51 PM

Except most men who complain about being single are not doing this.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 02:43 PM

Get out more and socialize. Meet more people. And not just for the sole purpose of dating. If you are single go out every single night and do something, do not sit at home.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 02:38 PM

This was my thought too. Only thing is it may differ a bit depending on the age range.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 05:48 PM

It’s asked on the regular on here by men. But if you go to any of the women’s only groups you hardly ever see women posting that their partners penis is too small. Sometimes too big but I think once in five years have I seen too small and she still wanted to stay with him. That should tell you something alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/25 10:12 PM
3

I feel like I answer this question daily! What is the deal? I have never made fun of a man's penis size in my 47 years of life. Penis size only matters to most women if it's too big or too small. Too big meaning it hurts and makes sex incompatible with that person, and too small meaning a micro penis we cannot feel at all. The difference is that what men thing is normal most men strive for would cause most women pain and what most men think is too small most women think is average.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/25 09:45 PM

Not my life experience. But if it's yours I am sorry.

I don't think there is. I think it's equal. I mean how many times a day do we see a post about women not liking short men and how horrible that is?

I agree, either gender can have preferences.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/25 05:49 PM

You should not date someone you are not attracted to. Many black people are not attracted to white people? There are Indian people that are not attracted to Hispanic people? Personally I am attracted to all types but I think people are entitled to their preference so to answer your question yes yes I do think it's okay. You cannot force attraction and I don't know why you would want to!
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/25 05:37 PM

So basically shame people into dating people they do not find attractive and don't want to be with? Great plan.

I am female and in my last relationship I was the less clean person and I can relate to men who feel this way. I had lived for 36 years of my life with what most people would call clean but not my ex. No matter how much I cleaned it was never enough and I was constantly criticized. So one day I just stopped even trying and then he complained that I never helped. I have never body shamed a man for his size. I don't know anyone in my friend group that has either. But of course I would not surround myself with those types of women. If a man has a penis that is too small or too large for a woman, they are not compatible. Just like they could not be compatible for a myriad of other reasons. I have ended a relationship with a man who was simply too large for me and I know a few other women who have done that. I only know one woman who had a man with a micro p…

Data? Most women are not taking out rulers and likely could not tell you the exact measurements of their partner’s penises. But I am willing to bet most men know the size of theirs to the half inch. Again we don’t care about this even close to as much as you all do. And women’s bodies are different too. So what’s too big or small for me could be fine for others. Unless it’s a micro penis by definition you’re fine with most women.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/25 12:45 PM
8

Oh for Pete’s sake. I will give the same answer I have given multiple times. Women don’t care about penis size unles it’s too big or too small. The discrepancy is that men think that being “too big” is a good thing and the majority of women find it painful. What most men think is too small is what most women think is average. As long as we can feel it and it does not put us in pain we are happy. And no that’s not a measurement.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/25 11:16 AM

I think because they don’t have a woman. It’s sort of like people who are overweight thinking if they just lost weight their life will be perfect and that’s just not true.

If shyness is an issue the solution is to get out and socialize with your peers to overcome that! Having sex with an escort just because you are too afraid to step out and socialize is a cop out and definitely is not going to make you more attractive to women!
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/25 12:43 PM
1

No typo , you said that men need game and confidence on top of being non repulsive to get laid regularly. But i a man gains that confidence and game, he still is repulsive right? You need both. Decent men is different than repulsive men. A guy can be ”decent” and still not attractive to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 10:26 PM
2

Being rich does not make a repulsive man non repulsive. And while I agree there are some attractive men that use escorts that’s not the general client. And even when it is, those men are still having sex with other women whom they don’t pay. I am referring to men that outside of paying could not have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 10:23 PM
1

So what you are saying is but for being paid the escort would have sex with that man? No no they would not. “Men need game and confidence on top of being non repulsive to get laid regularly.” So if they have sex with escorts they have confidence but they area still repulsive no?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 09:18 PM
4

Well if you’re not repulsive you could get sex without paying for it! What makes you think that escorts are suddenly hot to trot for guys that no one who is not an escort will touch? Only difference is they are being paid to pretend.

I think men and women can be friends, but the biggest difference is that most men would sleep with their female friends if given the chance. Most female friends would not sleep with their male friends if given the chance, because if they wanted to, they would have done it already. A far as trauma dumping that’s what a friendship is. My female friends trauma dump on me and I dump on him. Men seem to only be motivated by having sex. Like I am not going to play the role of being emotionally support…

Can I ask your age? Because people don’t cheat because they found someone better. In fact in most cases the person is not better nor do they like them better. Cheating is much more complex than that. So if you were deeply in love with your first boyfriend and he left you and you were heartbroken and years later you met your husband is he your second choice? Of course not. I think Coffee dates are fine, but in my case most men offer dinner. So I guess it would depend on the type of women you are going after. I know online dating is very competitive for men. So if she has other offers that are dinner and you don't really stand out, she may choose them instead.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 05:35 PM

This. It is for sure something that it took me sometime to learn. 20 year old me would have been jealous and insecure but 40 year old me sees men who only speak poorly of exes as walking red flags, because someday that could be you and if you don’t think he will do you the same way you are wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 11:27 PM

I disagree and so do most women. Either parent can be the primary parent, and if the woman out earns the man, it just makes sense that it's going to be him. Like you said why would a woman go to school for all those years to stay at home?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/25 06:55 PM
14

Oh I did not say they wanted to become stay at home Mom's did I? Primary parent does not mean stay at home Mom. It means the person that has to leave work or stay home when the kid is sick, etc. But to answer your question I think that most women want to have kids and a career which can be done with a partner who is willing to be an equal partner. So if she makes more, he's the primary parent.

Women care about penis size in two circumstances, it’s too big or too small. The discrepancy between women and men is two fold. Men think having a penis that is too large is a good thing, most women find it painful, myself included and it’s not a good thing. Most men think a penis that is “too small” is what is actually an average sized penis which most women enjoy. When women think of a penis that is “too small” we are generally speaking of a micro penis.

I think women see men that have sex with them who say they are looking for a serious relationship to continue in that pursuit and when they don't they see it as being used for sex. But men see it as dating and sometimes dating does no work out. I think women (not all of course) tend to get more emotionally attached in having sex than men do which is why there are a not as many women who enjoy casual sex as there are men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 05:08 PM
1

My theory is that a lot of the men who get called out for only looking for hookups are actually looking for serious relationships, but having sex is part of figuring out whether or not you want a serious relationship. So often as the couple is dating they have sex a few times or maybe even once and then the man decides that for whatever reason he is no longer interested. Had he been it would have progressed to a serious relationship. But women see this as the man only looking for sex and feel us…

They do? Maybe if they are millionaires or celebs. Otherwise no the trade off is not worth it. It's funny because the data does not reflect this, younger women tell you it's not true, older women tell you it's not true, but yet. . . I guess some men just really want to believe this so much that they do even in the face of facts to the contrary.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/25 02:14 PM

That's the thing though, women of this generation no longer need men to bring that to the relationship. Young women are creating their own stability, and money. That's why age gap relationships (substantial ones) are becoming less and less common. You have to make a lot of money (and I don't mean just six figures) to be a dude in his 40s pulling in 20 year old women. As for maturity, age does not always mean maturity.

It was basically told that a lot of women with cancer get left. And reading some of the support groups I belong to I am sure glad I am single! That’s not to say it’s all men. There are many men who are supportive and will stay but a lot don’t. Luckily I am cancer free now.

You are trying to defend a lie, by the reasoning behind it. That still makes it a lie. And while I totally empathize with the reason that someone would lie about that, similar to other things one would lie about to get someone else to falsely fall for them, that does not change the fact that it's a lie. You can empathize with someone and still not want to be in a relationship with them because they are dishonest. I don't know why you keep bringing up "body counts" because I never mentioned that.…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/25 12:49 PM
1

More like I just don’t like liars, but you do you. I am sure this will work out amazing for you. Relationships built on lies always do. And if you are not comfortable with yourself how can you expect others to accept you?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 09:06 PM
1

Nah dude you could not be more wrong about that.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 08:31 PM
2

But when it comes out your partner now thinks you are a liar, and dumps you even if they would have been accepting of it to begin with! So no you don't generally end up in relationships with people that find out you are a liar. That's the thing with preferences, people get to have them and you are not going to change them, no matter how much you think you are. Sure you have a choice, that choice is to not lie.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 07:23 PM
4

But why would you want to be with those women? I don't understand that.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 06:02 PM
3

So you are ashamed of who you are? Sure reveal it later, so you can break two hearts, great idea! Lying is not an attractive quality for anyone. A lie does not negate them, they are still there, but now you are a liar! While some women would have no issues with dating a bi man, everyone has an issue with dating a liar and I am starting to see why you have problems dating and it's not because you are bi.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 05:37 PM
2

But why would you lie? Would you not want to be with someone who fully accepted you for who you are? If someone does not they are not the person for you. And even those who otherwise were fine with it, will end things with a liar. There are a lot of dumb preferences people have, but it does not change the fact that they do. Date the people who want you, don't lie to the ones who don't.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 04:53 PM

What about their race? Their height? Their gender? Their job? Their religion? Their weight? If they work out, if they smoke, if they drink? Where they live? What their citizenship is? Their ethnicity? Their hair? Their body? Come on now people have the right to date whomever they are attracted to. It's not wrong.

Weren’t a lot of those kids done by in vitro, not having sex? It’s his attitude towards women that makes him an incel and but for his wealth he likely would be celibate.

As a woman the reason that most women are creeped out by large age gap relationships is because we have been hit on by creepy old dudes and it's gross. Older women remember what it was like when we were in our 20s and had 40 year old men hitting on us. Or to be teenagers and have men in their 30s try to pick us up. And younger women (for the most part) repeatedly say that they are not interested in creepy old men. Yet someone posts on this page several times a week trying to debate this.

10% is not that big of a number and 10 years is also not a massive age gap.

I don’t think prostitution solves the problem for most men. And I will say that I support legalized prostitution. Most men want to be desired, even those that don’t want to have an emotional connection at all. Prostitutes don’t desire you, they tolerate you. It’s similar to the question of why men chose to mislead and have sex with women who clearly want a relationship when they are a lot of women out there who do just want sex. They want the women to actually want them, for sex and more.

I try not to hate anyone because hate is the opposite of love and it means you are wasting your time and your heart on something that you need not be. Laid off is different than quit. I would not generally blame someone for being laid off. Quitting I would want to know why they quit? I mean if we are a team I would want to support my partner and I would presume until proven otherwise he had a valid reason to quit. Of course anyone is in their right to leave anyone for any reason. I personally wo…

I don't think this makes your point at all. No one is saying that physical attraction does not matter. For some women height matters when it comes to physical attraction. For other women it does not. So if a woman is only physically attracted to men of a certain height then no amount of personality is going to fix that. But not all women are like that. I mean I am 5'2, almost all men are taller than me :). I don't care. But a man is is physically attractive can make himself unattractive with the…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/25 02:30 PM

I agree. But egalitarian marriages are different than a man being the prior earner, which was how things were in times past. I don't think men need to out earn their partners, but as a high earning woman I have found that most men feel that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/25 02:06 PM
2

Can you show me that? I know no woman that has ever said that only personality matters. Or maybe it's just that you interpret it that way. Physical attraction is presumed, you don't need to state that.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/25 01:38 PM

Agreed. My best friend has three kids and I literally have to force her to spend money on herself, like a nice dinner. And everywhere we go she's always looking to buy something for her kids or husband. Meanwhile her husband buys a motorcycle and sports car like it's nothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/25 01:35 PM

But they were not out earning their partners in general which still left them for the most part beholden to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/25 01:34 PM

Why? You don't think women want partners they are physically attracted to? I thought that was a given.

Yes but the looks have to be there. You cannot just have the personality. That's where you are getting tripped up. Why does she not date the guy who has the personality that she describes? Because she's not attracted to him physically.

No, many men openly admit it. Maybe not initially but eventually. No one is mind reading, the men say it directly to you.

There are a lot of high earning women out there, I am one of them. And in my personal experience men are not interested in this. They are intimidated and even when the woman prefers the man to stay home and it makes more financial sense as she is the high wage earner, the man does not want to stay at home.

Usually when cis straight white men ask for "understanding" what they are seeking is for women or other minorities to agree to be unequal or in someway give up their rights, that is not understanding so yes you are going to met with hostility. I get it men are pissed they don't have the upper hand as strongly as they once did, but for you to actually think women or other minorities are going to give it back without a fight is not reasonable.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/25 03:14 PM

People in cities do have cars! And a woman could be harassed just walking to get coffee or at the grocery store in s small town . I grew up in a small town! So unless someone plans on never leaving their home for any reason the chance is for sure there.

If rent is $800 I think 70K is reasonable for a two income earner home. But that’s just me.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 11:49 PM

But this type of thing could easily happen somewhere that is not a bar. Women get harassed all the time, on public transit,, shopping, on the street? It’s not low class or trashy people it’s everywhere at least in most big cities.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 11:37 PM

I think this is very situational dependent. Are you in a high cost of living area? How old are you? Are you looking for a trad wife or will your partner ideally work and make the same as you or more? In the city a single person would struggle on 70K and that's with no debt. And no way you could support a family on that amount. But potentially in other areas of the Country? If a woman herself is making six figures then yes 70K is low, but if she's only making 30K than 70K is high to her.

As a formerly attractive woman (now older) I can tell you then men rarely approach attractive women and I a talking about 10 or 15 years ago where men did approach women a lot more than they do now. Even when my Mom was growing up there was a saying that all the pretty girls were home alone on Friday nights and it was for the most part true. Most men are intimidated by attractive women, they think they will be shot down or that she is already taken. So the men that do approach tend to be complet…

/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/25 03:51 PM

You need physical attraction and so much more. And a woman can totally not be attracted to a man that she finds objectively attractive. I am sorry you don't get that but it's the truth. You can find someone attractive and not be attracted to them. Oh many women admit it, just not in the circles that you are in.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 07:35 PM

Just an FYI most child bearing women do not want to have kids with 50 plus year old men.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 07:33 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 07:31 PM

Do you have data to support that, that they are more willing to settle? I would agree with you that women that are looking to have children and are in child bearing years are more likely to settle. I have seen this a lot they have the kids and get divorced. But women who are no longer in child bearing years like myself, not so much. So women should not lower their standards then? Sorry I did not realize we were agreeing on that. I don't think anyone should lower their standards, not gender speci…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 07:14 PM

Of course you are and I think it's great that you don't need women. Wanting rather than needing someone is what makes for a healthy relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 06:57 PM
1

If the vast majority are paired up then how are there so many men complaining about being single?!?! And I agree you should not be with a woman who is settling for you. Which is why asking women to lower their standards to be with you is dumb.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 06:56 PM

"then you wouldn't have some guys sleeping around with a variety of women in a short span." We are talking about RELATIONSHIPS not causal sex. Most women myself included have different standards for men we want to be in long term relationships with and for men we want to have causal sex with. There is also difference between being attracted to someone and thinking they are attractive. If you show 100 women simply pictures of men, many will say they are attractive but not actually be attracted to…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 06:16 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 04:52 PM

I don't try to go to great lengths to convince anyone, I was responding to the comment that was directly asking about my happiness. Anyone who is part of my life can see how happy I am.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 04:39 PM

A therapist telling you to value your own worth and not settle for less than you deserve, is a shit therapist, okay lol. Hard disagree there.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 04:38 PM

Therapy still is not going to make her be attracted to men she's not attracted to. In fact it will likely make her even pickier!
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 03:56 PM

So she chose no to date men that she was not attracted to. Gotcha. Clearly she should have settled and got into a relationship with a man she did not want to be in a relationship with. That's good for all involved.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 03:29 PM

But what every woman thinks of as a "top dude" is different. I have seen women who "settled" and that is not a relationship you want to be in, on either end. Relationships are not black and white. There is not some scale that says okay you are equal. Lowering your standards is in fact settling and it will never end well.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 03:11 PM

I am in fact your target audience. I am in my late 40s, career oriented, child free and happy as heck! Only thing is I don't drink, never liked it, don't need it. And I can count at least 10 other women who fit the same bill. Men at our age are more trouble than they are worth generally and if I want a physical relationship or someone to have fun with I can easily get that. Women my age don't need men, like men my age need women. I am very fulfilled in my life. "consumed by hurt that they have n…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 03:09 PM

So how does that translate to women being in relationships with men they lowered their standards to be in relationships with? It does not. See the error in your thinking is that all women want to be with a set type of man in a long term relationship, and that's just not true. Just because a woman is not with a 6 foot tall model type does not mean she settled.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 02:40 PM

No it would not. Most women would rather stay single than settle, it's a preferable situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 02:29 PM

Right and they are also the ones who are self described "nice guys" who really are no very nice.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 02:24 PM

"and if they can't find a guy like that who's willing to commit to them, then maybe it would be better to get real." No it would be better to stay single then to be with someone you are not attracted to, and I still cannot understand why a man would want to be with a woman who is only with him because she could not get what she really wants. That's a set up for disaster.

If men are lonely then why don't they develop relationships with other men? Get out and meet people. I am not sure how this is a woman problem? What do you want women to do? Woman don't blame men if they cannot develop friendships with other women? Yes I have empathy for anyone who is lonely and truly trying to develop friendships with no success, but you have to take initiative and try.

I have had men explode on me for rejecting them and many of my friends have too. Not just in person, which is worse, but online or texting repeatedly, calling me names, asking why I think I am too good for them. This is often why women on first dates will say yes to a second date just to avoid the outbursts. Just because you have not heard it does not mean it does not happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/25 05:28 PM

And some men explode when a woman rejects them. It happens.

Of course there are other necessary elements, but sexual attraction is one of them. A lot of men do waste their time just hoping that it will turn into something, why do they? I don't know. Let me explain it like this. Imagine you are a heterosexual male (I am not sure of your gender or orientation). And you have had a very close male friend for years, you thought it was purely platonic and had no reason to believe otherwise. You shared a lot with him, even undressing together in a shared locker…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/25 02:39 PM

But there’s a difference between thinking someone is attractive and being attracted to them . I find a lot of men objectively attractive but am not attracted to them like in your example exes. And yes in that case they can be friends .
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 05:40 PM
4

Oh it is insane sounding but unfortunately it’s the reality. If you are an attractive woman there are very few men that will be purely interested in being your friend. It’s a hard lesson to learn but a true one.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 05:36 PM
3

Nope disagree. A man who is sexually attracted to a woman is sexually attracted to a woman from day one or close to it. Women on the other hand can develop sexual attraction to a man they were not initially attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 05:33 PM
5

So a man’s in love with her but does not ever want to have sex with her? Gotcha. Surely you are not that naive?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 05:18 PM
4

So you are telling me that men who are not sexually attracted to a woman suddenly out of nowhere, barring some substantial change in appearance becomes sexually attracted to that woman? I think you’re the one pulling nonsense out of your butt if so.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 05:17 PM
8

But the man has always had the desire to have sex with her. Even if the “love” part does not come on immediately, the sex does. A man does not just wake up five years and find a woman that he did not find attractive, attractive, barring some drastic change in appearance. Women do not want to have sex with their male friends anymore than they want to have sex with their female friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 03:03 PM
6

It may not just be sex but it is still sex. It’s an icky feeling. You thought the relationship was one thing, and he had a totally different idea.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 03:01 PM
6

Because he misrepresented himself. It’s not flattering to be lied to. Edit your add some examples: You asked him for relationship advice as a friend and he gave it to you. Now you wonder if any of that was real or did he want your relationship to fail? All the support he gave you, was that because he cared or he because he was hoping it would lead to more? You shared things with him that you would have never shared had you known how he truly felt.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 02:59 PM
3

I don’t think it’s strange at all. No one likes to be misled.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 02:58 PM

I agree with you that’s the solution and that’s exactly what I did.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 02:57 PM

No but those in the comments are.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 02:13 PM

Never said women were owed friendship. But it’s fair to feel betrayed when you thought someone was a genuine friend and they had ulterior motives the entire time.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 02:13 PM

But that would have happened in the beginning? He would have never ended up in a friend zone situation if she were attracted to him. You would never get to the point that OP is describing.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 01:49 PM
8

Because generally men, unlike women do not just suddenly become attracted to a woman that they have for years not been attracted to. So, as a woman who this has actually happened to several times, it makes you feel extremely betrayed. You thought he was a legit friend and meanwhile he was just hanging around hoping for more. And in my cases got angry at me for not reciprocating. Most women do not want to sleep with their male friends. So if they find out a male friend has been pining for them th…

Right and when this study is cited people fail to realize the difference in a woman finding a man attractive and actually being attracted to that man. So you could show me a picture of a guy and I’d say yes he’s good looking then meet him in person and have zero attraction to him.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 11:53 PM

I think because women are more emotional they are more in touch with their emotions. You cannot even begin to understand the emotions of others which is a core part of having empathy, if you are not in touch with and do not understand your own. A lot of men struggle with identifying their emotions, so everything comes out as anger.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/25 07:04 PM

This just sounds like a lot of insecurity non sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/25 04:07 PM

There are a lot of women who are stuck in marriages because they cannot afford to leave financially. When I read their comments and speak to them in real life I thank God everyday I will never be that woman because I have done financially well for myself. My parents never wanted me to be that woman. So you are correct. I think people underestimate how much this still happens today.

It’s not your place though to tell someone else what they should be attracted to, that’s what you are missing. You thinking that you know better than they do about what they actually should want shows an extreme lack of emotional intelligence and anyone who does that by definition would make a horrible partner in a relationship. It may be trivial to you, it is not to them and you don’t get to force yourself upon someone who does not want to be with you.

I think you are missing the point about what this type of lie says. First and foremost it screams insecurity and women generally do not find insecure men attractive. But second and more important it’s what it says about the type of person that you are on a deeper level and that type of person is not someone that is able to have a healthy relationship. What it is saying is I don’t respect your preferences and I know better than you what you want. Let’s use age for example. A man wants a woman in …

I dunno? I have quite a few guys friends and colleagues that are into heavier women.

As a woman I personally cannot speak to that.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 05:49 PM

I understand exactly what you are saying. They are lying about their height to get around a woman's filter. Just like men lie about their age to get around a younger woman's filter. I just don't think it's okay.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 05:48 PM
2

Here's the thing you are missing. If a woman cares about your height, so cares about your height and she is going to reject you when she sees you in person because of your height. You cannot change that. Just like a man who cares about a woman's weight will reject a woman who lies about her weight or puts up old pictures. But even people that don't care about height or weight care about lying and you can say what you want but lying is lying. And if you have to lie to someone to get a chance with…

How has that worked out for you? Were the women okay once they realized you lied? Or did no one notice? Most guys that put 6'0 are actually 5'8 in my experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 04:56 PM
5

My ex was 6'2 and so as a woman who is only 5'2 I do know the difference between 6'2 and 5'10 as we were together for a long time. That being said I don't care what a man's height is, but if a man lies about his height on the app, that is a massive turn off and I don't care if I find other reasons to like him or not, it's a no. Most women feel this way too.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 04:47 PM
2

He said it in his own post, that's how I know. It does not matter if he said it to an actual woman on a date, his post tells on him. Referring to a woman in this manner shows the type of person he is and I can assure you this is not the only thing he does that screams don't date me.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 02:19 PM
5

An ideal man for me is one that I am physically attracted to and who is kind, honest and has good communication skills.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/24 05:15 PM
2

Sure, but I do know how a man who calls a woman a heifer is going to behave.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 06:11 PM
5

The same for men who had relationships with bad women. People make mistakes, often men or women don't show their true character early on. At least OP is putting it out there for all to see.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 05:52 PM
6

Entitled? No one is entitled to anything no matter who they are. But this is why no women want to date him. If you go around referring to women as heifers women are not going to be attracted to you and I can guarantee you that even if a woman never heard these words come out of OPs mouth there are other things he does that would show his hand.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 05:41 PM

Preferences are fine. Calling people names is what is unattractive. It says a lot about who that person is, and it's not good.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 05:28 PM
9

His attitude towards women he is not attracted to matters. He is calling overweight women names, that is unattractive full stop.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 05:27 PM
11

Because not being overweight/obese is a very low standard. Women want much more than that. An otherwise desirable man for example that calls women heifers is not desirable to any woman, skinny or overweight. You can not be attracted to overweight individuals and still have respect for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 05:05 PM
7

Yep. I am a 7, I deserve a 7. No my friend you are indeed a 2!
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 05:02 PM
14

I am going to hold your hand while I say this : If you are referring to women as heifers (which you cannot even spell correctly) you are not a desirable man to any woman. That is why you are single.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 05:01 PM
9

If I am happy in my current relationship, I do not care what he did in his past relationships. My love language is not gift giving. I am more concerned about time spent together. I also don't like designer fancy things and my fav place to eat is a popular chain. Every relationship is different, every person is different. It's not about competition. For whatever reason though it does appear than men are a lot more focused on a woman's past relationships than women are on a man's.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 02:24 PM

No never wanted them.

47 year old lawyer, and agree.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 07:41 PM

I am a 47 year old woman single by choice. I have been in many long term relationships and I guess was a party girl in my 20s. I earn six figures and have a very busy career. I go out, travel and am very socially active. Men want to date me, I just enjoy my peace more. And there are a lot of other women just like me in our 40s, choosing to be single.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 07:40 PM
1

Men want to think that we think about them as women, a lot more than we actually do! So of course the only reason a woman is wearing what she is wearing to the gym is to attract them, what other reason could there possibly be? Our whole focus is on attracting them.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 01:20 AM
2

Yes I have but that's not today's women, it was from generations past. And if less men are going to college than women, going to college to meet a man no longer seems like a good strategy.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 09:20 PM
3

Fellow Gen Xer and in my personal opinion it's because a man's general drive to become educated is to use that education to attract women and a family if that's what he wants. A woman's drive to become educated stems from a desire to do well for herself and support herself, because generally a woman who is highly educated does not have a wider range of dating prospects like a man who is highly educated. Women don't go to college thinking it will get them a man, because it does not. Men don't car…

Presuming he has a brother? Or that his partner is okay with that. Whatever the case I think it’s just important to expectation set. Same for women who know they cannot have kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/24 12:12 AM
3

In my opinion the only men that are bad at sex are those that refuse to listen. Good sex is all about communication and every woman likes things differently. If I communicate to my partner that I like X and he continues to do Y because his Ex liked that or he saw it in porn, or even worse get’s angry that I am asking him to not do Y then he’s bad in bed. I also personally don’t like men that take 2 hours to achieve orgasm or 2 minutes. Somewhere in between!
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/24 10:39 PM
2

I presume that means that you are unable to have children but please correct me if I am wrong? If that’s the case then I would strongly recommend you tell a woman very early on in dating that you are unable to have kids. She will then usually ask why and you can tell her. I think not being able to have kids will be a deal breaker for many women, and many men too, but there are some women in your age range that have already decided they don’t want kids. So just be honest and upfront early on so t…

I think you hit on something I have said a lot before. Men are screwing each other by swiping on every single profile without actually looking to see if that woman is looking for them or not. Which leaves women wading through 100s and 100s of profiles when 90% of them do not even come close to meeting her must have criteria. But they won't.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/24 02:11 PM

Then leave the relationship? I mean.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/24 02:35 AM

Neither. I only met one man in my 47 years of life that intimidated me. And I have dated a Lot.

3, 3, 3? You’ve only ever attempted to hit on three women and 2 were 10 years ago, in your entire life? How do you expect to ever meet anyone? I have been rejected by three guys in the last year. Maybe up your numbers and gie yourself a better shot At someone saying yes?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 01:00 PM

But that was a response to someone else. I asked and they said why did it matter?

Actually I think that’s a great plan.

I’m not presuming that’s why I asked.

No we also get rejected when we approach men.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/24 05:45 PM

Tinder is not in person speed dating. You really seem to be talking around the questions I am asking. Then just stay at home and don't date? I don't know what to tell you.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/24 04:15 PM
0

And men have absolutely no idea what it's like to be an average woman. But again how do you expect to find a partner? Either suck it up or stay single. And singles events allow men to not have to worry about approaching if they are worried about that.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/24 04:09 PM
-14

Do I think that, no I know that because we do all the time. Again not at speed dating or a singles event.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/24 04:07 PM
3

And that applies to both genders. I have gone and gotten no matches as have my female friends. How again do you expect to date if you are not willing to experience rejection?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/24 03:58 PM
-4

But nobody does at a singles event that's the point!
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/24 03:45 PM
-11

How so? If you go to an in person dating event you don't have to be the initiator . That's the point of these things. So both people are getting rejected equally and in the same exact way. And tell me how do you expect to find a partner if you are not willing to be rejected?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/24 03:36 PM
-43

You really think women don't get rejected? We get rejected all of the time! It's part of the game for both people. Finding a partner means rejecting others.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/24 03:25 PM
1

No, never. What a complete waste of time. But I am Gen X.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/24 03:19 PM

But if you want to find a partner rejection is part of the game. If you are not willing to face rejection you will always be single.

Because people don’t desire to sleep with their friends, if they are a true friend. Women don’t want to sleep with their male friends or female friends. It matters because you will never be happy with what she provides you in the friendship because there will always be something she is never going to provide you with. You can tell yourself until you are blue in the face that you don’t have those expectations but you do. That’s not a friendship and it never will be. EDIT to add: Most women see th…

Okay so you are not attracted to her and would not take it even if she offered it?

This. This is what female friendships are.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/24 12:17 PM

I think it depends on the friends. I have good friends I have know for many years and we can go weeks without talking, months without seeing each other, life gets busy. But when we meet up it’s like no time has passed.

It hurt my head to read it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/24 12:49 AM

So you are expecting something? What? Why are you looking at relationships as business exchanges, not human beings? Tit for tat will always make you unhappy.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/24 12:48 AM

In my personal experience it’s sex or some sexual act. But I could be wrong.

Where did I say that? OP is the one saying women are rejecting him for abusers.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/24 10:21 PM

Wow! That's pretty bad then sorry dude.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/24 09:59 PM

2

It’s a trade off. One person should never get what they want all of the time, you make compromises. That is what a healthy relationship is. It does not contain a power dynamic. If there is it will fail. I can tell you as a woman who has been in both healthy and unhealthy relationships, I did not get my way all the time, heck even 50% of the time. So while these may be the relationships you see (I am not sure where you are seeing them in real life, on TV) that is not how relationships generally a…

White women have privilege over women of color but absolutely not over a white man. A white man walks in a room and stands five steps ahead of everyone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/24 07:07 PM

No one should have the upper hand in a relationship. If you view relationships as a battle for power then you will always be unhappy in your relationship. It should be an equal partnership.

I am going to say this louder for the people in the back because you all just don’t seem to get it. The majority of women do not want to have sex with random men. So a man who only wants sex is like dog shit to them no matter how he looks. You as a man see any sort of interest as positive even if that means just interest in sex. If you walked around as an attractive woman even just for a few days you would understand.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/24 02:01 PM

Yea this seems to be the general consensus. Ask women a question they give you an answer and the response is no that’s not really the answer let me a man tell you how you really feel because I know better.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/24 12:18 PM
2

I do but I am of the older generation and would agree we talk to each other and approach each other more, no matter our gender. If women don’t approach men though it’s because we don’t want to? I mean that’s the answer we just don’t want to talk to you.

Really? Have you ever tried to date as a woman? I suppose a woman could settle for a man that abuses her, is not emotionally available, cheats, lies and lives on the street, but that's not a relationship most would want to be in.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/24 05:20 PM

The sex curve is harder not the dating curve. Yes women can get casual sex or sex a lot easier than men can but they struggle more to get relationships than men do. So if you define dating solely as access to sex then yes but that’s not how most people define dating.

Because men do not have the same type of relationships and support from other men as women do with other women. They usually derive their sole source of emotional support from their female partner. Freezing sperm is a lot cheaper too and easier. That being said I think that a lot of men in their 40s and 50s do miss out on having kids because they felt they would be able to wait until that age and meet someone to have kids with, and they area angry about it. Why? What is it about him that he struggles to find women in his own country to have sex with him? I mean is it that bad that he can’t even find women to pay to have sex with him in his home country? Does he have financial issues? Is he attracted to women of a certain ethnicity that I am not? Is it because he wants or wanted to take advantage of women ? Are there any other indications that he feels that way? And with all of the above questions do those answers still apply now or has he changed? …

So if a woman had a large number of sex partners so long as she had that sex while in a committed relationship that's okay with you?

What do you mean as far as sexual history? I would like to know my partners likes and dislikes and sometimes that is based on sexual experiences. We might discuss that. But other than that unless he currently has an STD I won't ask and don't care. If you are referring specifically to the number of persons an individual has slept with, if a man asked me that number he likely would not be a good fit for me. I don't want to be with someone for whom that matters.

People with social skills may approach more often, but just because people don't approach more often does not mean they lack in social skills. A lot of women just chose not to approach. It's not just about approaching members of the opposite sex, it's about the ability to carry on conversations, read social cues, simply interact with other humans.

It's been awhile since I online dated but I agree with your assessment. In my opinion online dating would work better for everyone, including the men if men only swiped on women that they truly are interested in and whom they meet the criteria of what she's looking for, be more picky themselves. But they don't. So it leads to women being extremely overwhelmed with options, most of which are likely not good ones. My profile said no smoking, had an age range and a distance range. I would say 80% o…

Nothing you can do will guarantee that you will have success in dating. Some of the most attractive successful people struggle with dating. But you know what will guarantee you not succeeding in dating? Not trying anything all.

Absolutely there will always be a limit and there will always be someone better looking. But that’s not an excuse for not trying. You only need one person that finds you attractive. But you will never find her if you are not willing to face rejection by others who are not her.

Oh so you mean the ability to read the room? That’s a social skill. Anticipating the actions of others, their behaviors and their responses. The rest of it, this woman does not and neither does anyone a now. What party experience? What kind of women are hanging out with? I am not sure you understand what social skills are.

A relationship is a friendship plus attraction. If you have no interest in your friends lives what makes you think that you would have interest in a potential partner’s life? Do you think that the only reason you would show interest in a partner’s life is to have a sexual relationship? If the answer is yes then of course you would feel anxious and awkward. The best way to develop connections is to show interest in someone else and let them show interest in you. And the only way you can do that i…

Social skills are necessary for life not just dating. If you struggle with social skills in dating you struggle with social skills in general. You don’t have to be charming to have social skills. In older generations for the most part people developed social skills out of necessity. And rarely if at all did you see individuals that lacked in them the way that the younger generations do. That’s not to say that some people were not better at them than others but most people still had them. Sort of…

If what you are doing is working then go for it. Most women I know in their 20s think dudes in their 40s are old. But if that works for you, go for it.

When you have kids there are some single childless people that do not want to date you, male or female, and that's okay. I mean do you really want to date someone who does not want your kids? But women in their 20s and 30s are less likely to have kids than women in their 40s, and/or more likely to want kids of there own, and not be interested in blended families. So if you date older you are less likely to find this to be an issue, in my opinion. I just remember being in my 20s and 30s and havin…

I've already decided that if this happens Id seek out euthanasia. This is really sad. You can make whatever choices you want, but if I had to guess you are young with little to no experiences with long term relationships. I hope you change your mind and find happiness. Because even though you think you will, you will never truly be happy with this mindset.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/24 02:10 PM

Of course. If a man said to me that he had to be picked for being the best sex partner she ever had then I would have two answers for that man. First, you are never going to be happy in a relationship if you feel that way. You of course are entitled to feel whatever way you want, but you will struggle with happiness. Because you need to feel like you are the best sex partner she ever had, which you may not feel even if you are. Because that need comes from a deep place of insecurity. A secure ma…

Sexual desire in a long term relationship is something a couple has to work on. A woman and man could be having amazing sex early on, and then kids come a long, etc. And yes responsive desire comes into play. It would come into play EVEN IF that man was the best sex she had ever had. It's called life, and reality. A woman also bends to a man's wants and needs. Both people want to turn each other on and satisfy each other. A sexual relationship should never be one sided and if it is then that is …

Are you purposely being obtuse? I described two entirely different scenarios. Scenario one is when a woman or man is dating someone and does not realize they are a jerk early on. This happens all of the time. It’s the whole point of dating! So she’s had sex with him and it’s great but later realizes he’s a jerk and she does not want a relationship with him. Or maybe he’s not a jerk just a bad fit for her otherwise . The second scenario is a woman who is engaging in casual sex with no intent of b…

I meant having sex outside of a relationship with no intention of having a relationship aka casual sex. You asked why a woman would date someone who was a jerk? She’s not dating him she’s just having sex with him. Sex inside of a relationship and sex outside of a relationship can both be fun and enjoyable.

Most people men and women do not realize that the person that they are dating is a jerk until they have already been dating them for sometime. And who said the woman was dating the person? Maybe they are just having a good time and having sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/24 12:15 PM

I feel like this question comes up over and over. Many women do not marry the man that is the best in bed. Why? Because he’s a jerk and a horrible partner we would never want to be in a long term relationship or marriage with. Would I be offended? No I would not because I would not want to be with a man who did not understand that I picked him for everything that he is. And many women do tell men they were the best lover ever even when this is not true just to protect their ego.

Absolutely not. I don’t drink alcohol and I prefer to date people that don’t drink alcohol, but I am don’t think prohibition should be reinstated? I voted to legalize weed for recreational purposes and think it should be but I don’t use it, nor would I want to date someone who did. I don’t smoke cigarettes and I would not date someone who did, but I don’t want to make cigarettes illegal. I am heterosexual but I support gay marriage and rights? I could go on, literally for days. I think people sh…

I live in a city where there is statically a lot of women and there are many cities that are the same, in the US. Are there some women that suck? Yes there are. Some of them are just jerks, some are like that because we have had so many horrible frightening encounters with men. I am older but the only men I raised my voice too ever were ones that would not take no for an answer. But there is very little actionable advice. There is no formula that works for everyone every time. Dating, like life is not black and white it’s lived in the shades of gray. Me personally? I get really hot when I am working out, so the less I have to wear the better. For me gym shorts cause me to sweat more the yoga pants absorb more and tighter makes it easier to move around in. And what I am comfortable in, may not be comfortable for another lady or man for that matter. That’s not really my place to judge or say anything. I don’t care what you wear either. In my opinion most guys have one or more of, usually all of the following characteristics, poor social skills, social or some type of anxiety , lack of experience of being around women they don’t want to date, blaming others for their plight, low self esteem, seeking their sole source of validation from women, lack of socializing in general, seeing relationships and dating as black and white with some formula to succeed needed, anger towards women, and unwillingness to step out of their comfort …
