Great point. Strength training will also help retain muscle mass when in a catabolic state so you won't become skinny-dat. Although, I would tweak the TDEE for the fit person. I would say average fit persons TDEE is about 1,800 - 2,500 kcal. It all depends on body weight, height and activity level.
