I posted to here to let the men here know that I support this subreddit. I don’t like how men are portrayed as buffoons and sperm donors that don’t know how to care for a child. I don’t like that a woman can accuse a man of pretty much anything sexual or abusive and the law is always on their side. I did not get upvotes because I have a vagina. I got them because of what I had to say. To quote you....fucking wow.

I am a woman and this crap pisses me off. I wish he was allowed to punch her square in the throat. She attacked him because she knows she can get away with abuse like that. Things need to change. Woman want equality, it should be full equality.

I feel bad that he is staying. I hope in the future he changes his decision. If she is treating him this way now, she always will. My mother was always shitty to my step father and purposely dragged out their divorce so he would have to pay more and more in legal fees. Women that them are toxic.

Yup and if I go anywhere without my kids it "oh is your husband babysitting the kids?" Um no, he's their father. No one ever asks him if I'm babysitting if he goes out. I feel the most bad for you guys when it comes to kids. You have no rights and everyone assumes you are all incompetent. It's sad.

You are very welcome. There are SO many double standards that are so wrong. Even commercials make me mad. It's ok to show a woman give a man a slap in the head and how men are always portrayed as dumb. Especially when they are shown as fathers.

I think this kind of double standard is disgusting, and I'm a woman. My pos mother had my step father arrested for "domestic abuse". He never laid a hand on her. Pisses me off that the legal system automatically sides with the woman. I feel for you men.

I read your story and I have no words of wisdom but just wanted to say I'm sorry this is all happening to you. I am a mom and I think it's horrible how the courts treat the fathers out there. Can you find any legal help at little or no cost? Are their groups out there that can help guys in your situation? It's very sad. I hope things work out for you. Your daughter needs a mother and a dad. I know from experience, my mother kept me from my father. I didn't meet him till I was 32.

Definitely teach her to respect men. Not treat them like dogs. My mother wasn't a great wife, or mom. I learned from her how to not treat a man.

I am glad you decided to stop taking her shit. I am married and never treat my husband that way. I've had friends who berated and disrespected their husbands. I can't stand it. If a woman treats a man that way he's considered spineless. If a man treats a woman that way, everyone is always like "oh you poor dear". Hopefully you will meet a woman who will treat you with respect.
