Your profile is full of red flags talked about here btw. -Uses her ex for personal gain -Top most active subreddit is about break ups -On drugs, depressed Are these qualities you look for in a partner? Do you expect a good man when you can't take care of yourself? Would you date yourself as a man? I say this as a man who has been happily married over 11 years to a woman with only a 6 month age gap. Successful people attract success, losers attract failures. If everywhere you step it smells like …

My wife needed a green card, so marriage wasn't optional for me.

You hit the nail on the head. My wife and I are her age and have been together for 11 years. Our first real date was freaking Burger King and we WALKED there. When we got married, neither of us had anything of real value. We couldn't afford a "traditional wedding", so we bought our own rings and had our wedding in the office of an attorney. The next day my wife went back to work because we simply couldn't afford her not to. Despite all that, I look back on those times fondly. It's a very differe…

There are still women out there who want to commit in their 20's, but you're right that it seems that number is getting lower and lower. And if a man makes it to his 30's and is successful, it's not surprising he would choose someone to settle down with someone who's in their 20's as opposed to 30's with extra baggage. I say that as a happily married man. My wife supported me in many ways through my 20's and we built a life together. Had I not married in my 20's when life was harder, I don't kno…

That's really all this is. All healthy relationships have boundaries. Most of these scenarios could put a relationship in jeopardy, so they make sense. As the saying goes "If you hang out at a barber shop long enough, you're going to get a haircut."

The first part was the funniest imo. She's blaming COVID for being single at 40. "I used to be 20, but then y'know COVID happened and now I'm 40."

Pregnant women have a higher volume of blood/plasma when carrying a baby. When my wife was carrying my son, she had a vein that would visibly throb on her forehead. It isn't visible anymore.

A sub that is only a "brat" is a huuuggeee red flag. There's also those who claim to be brats just so they can act shitty and have an excuse. And people who claim to be subs, but just want you to do all the work...

Any shirt that isn't athletic fit these days is tight at my shoulders and way too loose around my belly. A good fitting shirt is freaking expensive now and hard to even find.

It actually is. If you pay off a debt, your total line of credit is decreased when the account closes. That automatically will lower your score. And those with good credit scores, when you lose an account, it also drops your score. Look up the requirements for an 800 credit score. The number of open accounts (and total line of credit) is rediculous for the average person.

You mean you don't want a fat chick with 4 kids who specializes in "trivia" so she'll probably try to correct you on something multiple times a day? That doesn't sound like someone you want to see every day for the rest of your life?

When I met my wife, I was super broke. We did cheap dates and our first was dining in at a fast food place. I agree 1000% that first dates should be cheap. We've been together for 8 years now and even though we've gained quite a bit more in terms of income, spending habits didn't go up much for either of us. So we actually have a shot at a good retirement. Expensive dates for most people just means poor money management skills. Giving up your future for an expensive lay? Might as well just hire …

My first date with my wife was fast food. We've been together for 8 years. My coworker takes his dates out for steak/seafood. He's been divorced twice. You're absolutely right. There are good women out there, but they're few and far in between. If she sticks by you (and continues to) when you barely have two pennies to rub together, that's a keeper.

She said she wants to learn proper cooking. Okay? So do it. No one is stopping you. It has nothing to do with her abilities, she's just tired of using herself to get by financially and wants to bag a provider so she doesn't have to anymore. She mentioned nothing about school or a trade, so that means she's looking for...?

Separated (not divorced) smoker with no car (or still sharing a ride with the ex) and likely pregnant (avoiding the kid questions). I've seen less baggage on a full airport carousel.

I would say she's being up front with what she has and what she offers, but the filter she's using on her face and the bragging about desserts makes me question looks. Especially after 4 kids.

Pre-nursing means she isn't even in a nursing program yet. So when she says all of her work had been in "the medical field", that's a super vague answer she's using to justify her current position. That could mean anything from selling essential oils to being a cashier in the walmart pharmacy section to cleaning sheets at a hospital. Whatever it was, it was a low skill trade that paid low. (Or she would still be doing it.)

I think it's cute you believe she actually wants to graduate instead of using college students to broaden her dating pool. If she wanted a career, she would have done so before getting to 40+. Guarantee the ex was paying her way thus far and she wants that lifestyle back.

It's not psuedoscience. It's being studied. Here is an article that goes over one such study. There's also a correlation between a high number of sexual partners and divorce rates. I'm just a stranger over the internet, so I can't say what your situation is exactly, but don't go into marriage blind.

That was my first reaction, too. She's going to take him to the cleaners with child support. The husband is a moron. And even the idea of cohabitation after a divorce? Yikes.

Basically a $30 meal per person is affordable as a splurge between lower and middle class families. Rich families don't even blink at $100+ seafood dishes. I have been treated to expensive restaurants in the past and the gap is huge in terms of cost. It is a chain, yes, but there isn't really much in terms of "fancy poor people" alternatives outside of local businesses.

Clarified in an edit that I'm not saying all BMW owners are broke. I thought that was obvious.

Spot on about BMW. I work as a mechanic and can confirm that a Mercedes owner will pay to fix just about anything, whereas a BMW owner literally can't afford it and will often do payment plans when it's absolutely needed to get the car running again. Not hating on BMW, they have some fun cars, but many of their owners are just like you described. Edit: Since I'm being taken literally as "ALL" owners of BMW and Mercedes, I'm clarifying that it is a common occurance, not all inclusive. Good grief,…

I'm assuming you aren't American? Our public transportation in the US is garbage. I couldn't get to work with public transit if I wanted to and I live in a major city. On top of that, used cars are especially cheap if you do most of your own work. That compounded with literally Uber as your only other option, it's not so much a culture as a nessecity.

If you read her replies, it goes into detail why they sided with the husband. In total, she was friends with "bloggers" who the husband found toxic, bad driving record, left her daughter alone at a park for hours because she didn't know where her kid was, and claims her boss mind controlled her into an affair. Like holy shit, if this is what she's willing to admit, imagine what else was going on. And she wouldn't divorce until she got "her fair share". Everything she responds to: "It's not my fa…

Agreed. I bet he knew how hard it would all hit her. The best revenge when broken up is to appear as if you "won" the break up. She failed to find better and he teased her after it was over. I guarantee he knew what he was doing. Solid move.

No hobbies listed, no interests, there's nothing to even allure someone to her. Throw in a kid and a newborn, ask for someone who has the cash to take HER out on a date, and this is what you get. It's like saying, "Hi, I'm boring and come with massive responsibility, but I need you to pay for me and my kids. kthnx, here's my snapchat." Dilusional.

Oh yeah, for sure. There's plenty of popular name drinks that are high cost and it's only because of the name. I'm a big whiskey guy myself and I went from Wild Turkey 101 to Evan Willams, saving a good $20 a bottle. Both very similar.

Less of a denial and more of a "technicality bullshit" sort of situation. If an officer sees an air freshener in your car and you're acting nervous, that's enough to justify "probable cause". What bothered me the most was the supervisor saying "You're being detained" (Which, no, at that point she was not being legally detained) then fixing his error by saying "You're free to walk away." (Which was correct, but never a smart idea to flee a checkpoint) The second thing that stood out to me was the…
