Hello :) I'm currently reading 'The Surrendered Wife' by 'Laura Doyle'. It's a guide to building intimate relationship with your man, letting go and finding peace within.

I tend to rationally analyze the situation when my guy speaks and come up with ideas rather than just stfu. I think to be able to do this, one HAS to be a good listener, I don't see any other way. So, the issue here is you want him to appreciate for the ideas that you give him, is it validation that you're seeking, or is it that you want him to consider/ implement your ideas? I see multiple possibilities, you can ask these questions to yourself and dig deep. Coming to listening part, all you hav…

Lately, I've been thinking of all the flaws in him and it's making me feel low. None of us are perfect. This was much needed. Thank you :)

I agree that it wasn't your place to let the girlfriend know but it was when it comes to confronting him. It depends on what you want, a long term relationship with a commitment or short ones with no strings attached. If the former then you're in a wrong relationship. Leave and start vetting.

Hello! Yes. I use Acacia concinna powder (shikakai powder). I'm not quite sure if it's available everywhere. Also, if flaky skin is a problem, you should try rubbing some coconut oil a few minutes before bathing. It works like a charm.

No. Almond has brown peel which contains tannin, which inhibits absorption of nutrients. Soaking it makes it easier to peel them off thus enabling easy absorption of nutrients. By grapes, I meant raisins (sorry). Soaked raisins act as laxative and help in smooth bowel movements.

Drink a big glass of water as soon as I wake up. Staying hydrated through out the day is an easy way to get that glow. I have a workout routine which includes cardio and yoga, in the morning. I eat almonds and grapes soaked in water overnight. Use essential oils in my bath. I don't use soap at all. I've substituted it with gram flour, it works as a really good scrub. Moisturize right after shower. Hair matters too. I wash it twice a week. I've stopped using shampoo and conditioner. I oil my hair…

I think women usually experience 2x the intensity and frequency of emotions in general. I can't speak for men but women, yeah. Sometimes we wanna make sure that you (men) know EXACTLY as to what we're feeling. In this process we might over explain. I guess that comes off as an exaggeration.

Oh I'm glad he does realize that he hurt you. I hope he doesn't go out and do the same again. All you can do is trust your man and support him of he's genuine. Hope it turns out just fine :)

he ignores me for most of the evening, leaves without me, doesn’t look in my direction at all, doesn’t introduce me to anyone. Maybe he ACTUALLY was busy and didn't do it deliberately. How okay is he if you introduce yourself and talk to people whom he knows w/o him having to introduce you, how about you make yourself comfortable in that way? But it caught me by surprise how he didn't avoid doing things that upsets you :/ I told him that it was easier for him to upset me because I love him so mu…

We do speak everyday, but sometimes either I'm caught up with work or he is and we'll have to eat up our talking time. We've seen each other around two times a week in the previous months, since we started dating. He had to move because of his job. That's temporary, for about three more months. Later he'll be posted elsewhere which even he doesn't know. So I don't know how long will it be LDR.

Oh! I need to explore ways to communicate affection effectively when not together. I shall research, thank you for letting me know about this. Yes it is. And I'm glad that I'm not alone in this journey and have people like you to look up to and learn. Thanks :)

I'm currently in a long distance relationship with my SO. I know the feeling of frustration when you just can't be with each other (physically) when in need. There are times when I can't take it anymore and resort to being in a bad mood. But you CAN be there for him virtually. So, When either of us feel the need of the other, we call and talk on the phone. Now, when he calls, I make sure to be fully available and listen to him with full attention. The key things would be to listen, empathize and…

It's either that she feels comfortable enough around you and knows you well to not think about how she looks in front of you or she doesn't see you as a potential mate.

Yeah, ofcourse I don't mean all men. There are men who're genuinely nice. But most of them I've come across are not. So, happened to put it that way.

Yeah, glad I could relate to someone! Yeah, Men aren't nice for no reason except to get into women's pants when they get a chance.

I can totally relate to whatever you told above! I'm in an LTR too, we don't address each other as "boyfriend" / "girlfriend" either simply because of the same reason. And yes, I have told him(SO) about the beta orbiter for which he replied it's totally up to me how I handle the situation. I told the orbiter to stay away as I have zero interest but he keeps trying whenever he gets a chance. Since he's a coworker, I can't be rude. But then I lost it and now I just don't communicate with him at al…

Yep. I don't engage random men who approach either. I have a little trouble with the colleagues tho. Now I'm practicing zero communication with them. Thanks for sharing this :)

Why didn't I think of that! He could be using it wisely too. There are quite a few concepts which I didn't feel like agreeing to. Hm. So it's praxeology. Thanks!
