2	Talk. To. Everyone. It pays. Money. Funny you should say that because I too used the "We're friends now" line and got paid. Not in money but in ice cream. I chatted up the girl behind the counter and we got to the subject of how long it takes her to close the store (1 am). I told her we were friends and should get free ice cream when she closes. She responded positively to that so I showed up after the store closed and got free ice cream.
