Well in some ways it does... one example is that men's health has been WAYYYYY more heavily researched than women's. This is an example that shows men being in power as a helpful benefit to all men- which is probably something men don't even think about because they don't have to. (I am not talking about our abysmal healthcare system in general, but the lack of research that has been done into ailments that primarily only effect women vs. those that only primarily only effect men. Listing ways m…

This is just a misunderstanding of patriarchy. Historically and currently most society's are first and foremost a hierarchy of class. Meaning patriarchy doesn't mean if you are a man you will magically have a great life... and it has never meant that. To fix: "Basically every group that you don't want to be a part of is dominated by poor men.**" These "Groups" are a result of class warfare and not indicative of the presence or absence of patriarchy. What patriarchy does mean is that men ( not al…

As a man on the "left" don't you think it makes more sense for Galloway to rightly blame the suffering faced by young men on the wealthy elites? I've watched a plethora of his interviews and he barely talks about women unless he is comparing data... so I am intrigued that that is your big takeaway.

You did not state facts. You asserted that men oppress women. And you have yet to demonstrate it adequately. Wait did I not just list a whole set of stats? And men couldn't wear dresses. A taboo that exists today, incidentally. What's your point? and who made and enforced those rules??? Wrong. Property is often disposed of when it no longer serves its purpose, while women have had the right to a man's support even when she is no longer married to him (i.e., he isn't "getting anything" out of the…

If you consider stating facts as pitting the genders against each other I don't know what to tell you. You can cherry pick research all you want and I can respond with arguments and research of my own representing the exact opposite and it seems you will still not get the point. Im curious how many feminist books have you read? Or have you only gotten your information from google/ chat gpt?? 1) women work less than men because they are still expected to handle childcare and most domestic tasks. …

2) Despite educational advancements, women still earn less than men at every education level. For instance, in 2024, women with bachelor's degrees earned 71% of what their male counterparts earned .epi.orgI The "motherhood penalty" results in lower earnings for mothers compared to childless women, while fathers often experience a "fatherhood bonus," earning more after having children . As of 2024, women held 25.8% of mayoral positions and 12 governorships, with 13 women set to serve as governors…

I agree that society is sick rn. I also posit that its because of extreme wealth inequality. When people are living paycheck to paycheck, no health insurance, no child care etc. social protests tend to breakout under various umbrellas. In other words, I think we all need to come together to address the real hindering of society which is the fact that the people on top control our lives, especially in a tech age, where our thoughts, actions, and beliefs are directly correlated with the algorithms…

I do think it is okay to respond to shittiness with a humorous video yes. Normal dudes who treat women the right way don't get offended by cheeky videos like that because they know that there are a ton of terrible men out there that do still treat women like shit. Those who get offended tend to be the ones who 1) treat women like shit 2) are incapable of imagining that other men behave badly even though they don't (critical thinking) 3) are also incapable of being angry at other men who treat wo…

Basically all issues my dude... women are not the cause of any of your problems, our society that has been created by men are. So to answer your question dead seriously... if you are not a person with immense power than the most pressing issue men face is living in a patriarchy that tells them they need to behave and live a certain way to be happy, when that reality is basically unattainable at this point because of the very rich powerful men on top. Blaming women for your problems is quite lite…

Why is it acceptable? Because women have been subjugated by men for literally millenniums? Because women have really only been on the up and up for the last 40 years?? Because men's reaction to this is to then blame women for their problems and not the actually causes like capitalism and patriarchy? Because most men still see themselves as the better sex. Whether the music video hurts your feelings is one thing, but are you seriously asking the question of what it would be like if it was the oth…

Because get this....feminism advocates for women AND men and when men finally realize this everyones lives will improve. Until men collectively adapt to contemporary society, people will find it hard to sympathize for them. The crazy truth is women have really only had complete freedom financially and culturally within the last like two generations, and as soon as they have gained their freedom men simultaneously start to be lonely and angry?? Creators who want to cash in on their pain label thi…
