I'm not sure if it was a good decision. UBER has a p/e ratio of 15, which is about the SP 500's average pe ratio through the years (SP500 pe is a bit high). Plus, it might actually increase sales. From an MRA perspective, sure From a finance perspective, I don't think that was the best decision you could have ever made.
