I guess I read you wrong - my mistake. Its an interesting idea. I imagine the whole point would be to use UV light to continuously kill pathogens inside the mask. A concern that comes to mind is that the area of the nose and mouth has thin skin and angular surfaces that are highly susceptible to certain cancers when exposed to UV light. They'd certainly have to figure out that problem for it to work.
