There were threads on the teenagers sub that were specifically for sharing your kik name (kik was an IM app) and people would add you. It was the summer and I was bored so I did it, and my now husband messaged me :)

Through the reddit teenagers sub - there used to be these kik threads that people put their names on. I did that and here we are almost 7 years later, married in December :)

You seem stuck up ... people can probably sense that you think you’re better than them. This isn’t a criticism, because I was the same but once you fix your internal attitude towards people they’ll want to be your friend if you want to be their friend. Subconsciously people can sense a vibe that you’re giving off and what you’re feeling internally does affect that. Try improving your outlook and don’t be afraid to get rejected by people so much that you don’t even try.

Weirdo behaviour. You’ll be the one with the ‘changed body’ soon

You’re living too much on the internet, because this is not true in the real world - I live in London and there might be certain pockets/areas that think like this

Ohhh sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you were upset because he didn’t want to pay for your treatments and copping out with excuses, but yes I agree he should respect what you want especially if it’s not his money wtf. Im sure you can do better tbh

Expecting them from a guy you’re not even in a relationship with right now is. If you have a job surely you can afford your upkeep yourself?

Of course, this could all just be confirmation bias but 🤷🏽‍♀️

This makes sense to me! Fake it til you make it never worked for me - I started to feel like people could see right through me when my vibe didn’t match my actions. But when I kind of almost rationalise myself into feeling a certain way my vibe does feel different and I do notice a difference in the way people treat me. Believing i’m pretty while looking nothing special gets me more attention than when I feel like shit and put makeup on and dress a certain way to feel pretty.

Me too! I’m 23, engaged, and also currently working until I have a baby, and also from London! :D

Just own the fact that you do what you want to do. Who cares what people think, it’s none of their business anyways

I’ve been in one for 6 years but we started going out when I was 17 and he was 16. So I think it depends

Can someone explain to me the appeal of Ben Shapiro? I like Jordan Peterson and I think his views on relationships make a lot of sense but BS just seems full of hate to me

Your gut is screaming at you right now!! You don’t want to have children and then realise that you were correct to not feel ‘safe’ starting a family with him.

Please get yourself out of this relationship before he cheats on you :( he doesn’t deserve the passes since he doesn’t even respect you. Seems like he’s trying to make you break up with him so just do yourself the favour and cut him off. I’d ghost since it seems like he doesn’t even deserve the break up conversation

I wax the area myself. It took a while and it is difficult to do the top however taking off little bits at a time makes all the difference!

You don’t like him, and he deserves someone who is sure of their feelings for him. Leave him alone and at peace.

You still sound pretty controlling and not laid back at all in some ways. You say “I wish he’d do something about it just so I don’t have to hear about it!” Which makes it sound like if he keeps going on about it you will snap.

I’m so scared about side effects from that, but you’re right I should go to a derm. It’s difficult to get a referral here in the UK though.

Wow this is amazing! I was actually on clindamycin for a while, I forgot about that! Had to stop using it because I went to a different pharmacy and they gave me A different one that smelt like it had a tonne of alcohol in it and it didn’t work. But that’s perfect! I can’t do too much to my skin either. Thank you so much, I appreciate it!

How did you manage to fix your hormonal acne, if you don’t mind me asking? I’m 23 and absolutely sick of it:(

Wow I’m in the UK too and my laser clinic is no way near as good. Would it be possible to let me which laser they use? And the clinic name too? I’ve had 7 sessions and was meant to have a top up around 2 weeks ago, but they’ve closed for the lockdown period and most of my hair has come back, just a tiny bit thinner.

It’s not something you can change so stop dwelling on it.

See how he is around you and do the same for him is a good way to start! I noticed my SO likes to say i love you around a million times a day and in the beginning I found it so tiresome and repetitive even though it’s such a positive thing. Realising it was what he wanted to hear from me, I started doing the same and now I miss it when I haven’t heard him say it for a bit.

This was legitimately me in the beginning of my relationship. But he’s made me like him now and I’m so much happier now because of it! The way he acts with you is most likely his love language, so acting that way (in small ways, slowly) will make him happier and you too for fulfilling him. It’ll take a while but it’ll happen!

Fair enough ... but her telling him to come home when it’s safe and him listening isn’t something that needs to be ‘reinforced.’ It actually kind of sounds like he’s never listened to anything she’s said before which doesn’t seem healthy either. But I understand where you and OP are coming from.

Let them sort it out? They need to communicate, maybe tell her to do that. I wouldn’t get involved

People who think like that are people’s whose opinions you should ignore. Trust me, most people aren’t like this and don’t have such a straightforward and boring worldview that everything should be a certain way and should “fit.” It’s also completely subjective, don’t take people’s opinions as Bible because they’re not. The same way you seem to second guess yourself, second guess other’s opinions.

I’d suggest making your own wax from sugar and lemon and using that; hot wax is slightly less painful than wax strips as well. It’s also easier to target the hair since it doesn’t grow uniformly. Basically if the box says don’t use it on a specific area, I wouldn’t.

That last point is kinda rude. Having a religion doesn't mean you can't think for yourself

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
