1	Aussie newspaper responds to critics who claim their caricature of Serena Williams was racist But it’s not a false statement, if nobody knew who Osaka was then they’d obviously think it was a white woman. Because if you actually ventured out of PPD that was another huge controversy of this image. You’re so hellbent on bringing it back around to Serena that you fail to even remotely realize that I’m no longer bringing her to attentions. She wasn’t upset that she was losing or anything like that, she was upset about being accused of cheating. They wanted her to look like a white woman, while Serena looks like the angry black woman. And hey, I think Serena acted EXTREMELY immaturely. 1	Aussie newspaper responds to critics who claim their caricature of Serena Williams was racist I mean...they made her fat, gave her huge lips, and essentially exaggerated her features to make her look like an angry black woman lol. But the real reason why I think the picture was racist was not because of Serena but because of what they did to Naomi Osaka. Instead of giving her ANY black features or even Japanese features (she’s Haitian and Japanese) they made her into a blonde white woman in the background lol.
