Didn't know they had a rule against cringe.

Posters like this have been up for at least a few years in Queensland universities. Do you want progress or do you want to be a perpetual victim?

The original tweet is pretty lame but has anyone here actually felt even a skerrick of pressure to take up a career in public sanitation...? It's expected that men handle that dirty work, but is it expected of you or me in particular?

Sure I can. I just call that "masculinity", though. "Non-toxic masculinity" is a bit of a mouthful.

Why would someone have something good to say about toxic masculinity...?

I suppose anyone can be painted as wrong if you decide what it is they're really thinking.

Fair call I suppose.

You sound kinda bitter there, man...

That's not what people mean when they talk about toxic masculinity. It's not a suggestion that being masculine is inherently toxic. I think you'll make more insightful contributions if you read a little more on this topic, OP.

About 30%, apparently. How many of those women have neckbeards, though...?

If those women stayed home for the reason we're told... Or at all. The source is a former employee. I agree with your reasoning but I'm not convinced this event even took place.

They would not. r/The_Donald does exactly that.

I dunno about that whole paragraph about "what usually happens..." It surely does happen, but I have trouble believing that's the most common consequence of drunk sex. And while the rest is reasonable enough, if you're sober and they're drunk... Best to leave it for another night.

I don't want empty generic compliments and I sure as fuck don't hand them out to women.

That's because women who fail live to try again, inflating the statistics. Good point. I would be surprised if this accounted for the entire discrepancy, but I am not sure. Women use suicide as a cry for help, men use it because there is no other way out. Women cut horizontally, men cut vertically. This is not quite so compelling and seems like a theory you've spun on your own.

Women attempt suicide significantly more often than men. They're just not as successful because men use much more effective methods. Those are some pretty big generalisations but I feel like they make this cringeworthy post a little less valid.

All of the feminists I know are just normal women. Where do you live that you encounter so many nutjobs...?

There isn't a No true Scotsman in there because he didn't lay out any special qualification for feminism.

Luckily we're more evolved than that, huh?

I don't mean that he's a representative of this sub. Merely that he is typical of some of its users. I'm quite sure that there are good people here because I've met the kind of Men's Rights activists that we can all look up to. I don't consider this thread to be an important or compelling cause, though. At least not in the scope of the topic of the sub. And the responses it's drawing are undiscerning and silly.

Are you representative of this subreddit...? What a bizarre place.

That is significantly more compelling. Still a few problems: this image can be fabricated pretty easily; saying you want to "bring back Nazi scalps" clearly shouldn't be taken literally; and we don't see how the violence began.

What gives you the impression that the woman started this rather large brawl and wasn't simply trying to defend herself...?
/r/PussyPassDenied16/04/17 02:27 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
