you're just blaming other people for your own refusal to stand up for yourself and negotiate. there's really nothing more to it if you don't want marriage then just don't do it? that doesn't mean that you have to run off to the Philippines. The only thing that keeps you from getting exploited is you

Smart women know that a relationship is a trade and they negotiate accordingly to make sure they get a fair deal. just curious, how well is this attitude working for you?

from an economic pov, affirmative action will always be on the periphery. The economic activity has to happen somewhere

there is no marriage of unequals that's like saying that the true value of a stock is something other than what it's selling for all I see here are just a bunch of people with an overinflated sense of self worth finding that out the hard way. reality's a bitch, isn't it?

It's because they can still get marriage out of RW men, LW men are less likely to be religious or invested in marriage as an institution This is why e.g. Indians marry way more. It's a much more trad culture. That's also why western Europeans marry way less. They're WAY less religious than the USA In general, this is probably why women tend to skew more religious than men across the board. Because religion tends to regulate this kind of thing

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
