When I think of guys being shallow, I assume that you mean have a couple attributes that are mandatory and the rest of the woman doesn't matter. For example: big butt, big boobs, short, skinny waist. Personality, intelligence, etc doesn't matter. A shallow list. Literally, shallow not a very long list of standards. My list is long. The opposite of shallow.

Honestly, you can't even be sure after two years who a person is. I don't want to be anyone's forever gf, but I am technically still married to a man I dated for two years. The timeline was right, and it felt like the logical next step. That doesn't mean it should have been. Lesson learned.

Nope. You will not find anyone worth your time there or at bars. High value people have busy lives doing better things with their time. As for practice, it's almost like saying you're going to go to soccer practice to be better at astrophysics. Learning how to be in a relationship with high value men needs practice with high value men. You're not doing anything productive learning how to date low value men.

It doesn't matter how big or small a place is. If he won't clean up, it will still be a mess. Big places are even harder because there is way more space to clean. This woman is just going to double her workload when they move.

There are some places that take the mother's surname. Not as many as the ones who take the father's, but let's not make it a joke that having your mother's surname is laughable. That makes it seem like you're saying women are less important in family history.

Men have no excuse. This man was literally dieing. He looked good, worked hard, and volunteered. Don't give me none of that, "I'm too tired to go out or do anything."

All the men I know who seem like they're good people don't ever use dating apps, have never been to strip clubs, don't watch porn, and don't drink much if at all. They have hobbies, they are pursuing school/careers, and they invest in their families. They don't play video games all day. They volunteer. They're out there. They're just doing other stuff. You won't find them on a dating app or at a bar or on a chat in a game because they don't frequent any of these places.

Yeah, some men would prefer not to put their parents in a retirement home even if they can afford to. I wouldn't call someone high value or low value based on what they decide to do in that situation. Either option is fine. Edit to say: if he puts them in a home and wipes his hands clean of them... That's a bad sign. He may do it to you if you get sick. I don't care how nice or expensive the home is, he should be visiting his parents.

Be wary about labeling everyone who lives at home with Peter Pan syndrome characteristics. If they're caring for aging or disabled parents, they aren't "living at home". If they're the head of the house, and their parents are their dependents, that's different. If he is living at home and his parents do everything for them instead of the other way around, he's got a Peter Pan problem.

I know that my school sent out a schoolwide email asking if anyone was able to host another student in their home. I assume this student was in a similar situation where their living arrangement fell through for reasons obviously not disclosed in the email. Reach out to your school to see if they have resources. You're a good student so they would be more willing to help. If I were you, I would take out some loans, ask financial aid for some resources. And get out ASAP.

Right? No woman cares if their best friend dates a guy who wears polos, drinks light beer, and is from Florida. This completely sounds like a man saying, "why does she go out with this preppy loser who has a college education when she can date someone like me?!"

They don't care about women raping men unless it happened to them or their son. They don't actually care about any kind of rape unless it happened to them or their children. You'd think they'd care about their wife, but they often see it as cheating - especially if she ends up pregnant. Most cultures sisters would be included with children because they somehow claim some kind of daddy/daughter ownership over their sisters, but in other cultures they see it how they see their wives. That they mus…

I'm not impressed by guys drinking water because everyone I associate with daily drinks a lot of water. We even refill each other's cups. Nothing high value about it. Just courtesy.

I have never had to change a tire myself. I always start out knowing I can do it myself. But a stranger has always stopped me and did it himself for free without commenting on my looks or anything. I usually wear dresses or nice clothes. So, I have never assumed they didn't think I could do it, just that I was dressed like someone who shouldn't have to.

That's because most of them lack empathy. But once it affects them... Now they're mad. We are empathetic to all abuse... Even if we never experienced it. Idk how it takes someone raping their child or themselves to feel anything about it.

Story time! I knew a guy who liked this girl he just met. He asked her to hang out, and she said sure. She didn't realize the day he asked her to hang out was Valentine's day until later so she cancelled and explained that she didn't realize what day it was and she was busy that day. She said she only wanted to hang out as friends so he should pick a different day. Trying to win her over, he went to build a bear and made her three bears. One said, "I love you!" I hate that women have to be polite when men don't sensor themselves. What's crazy is that I have been told to stop sensoring myself by men... In regards to other men. But I know if I had issues with them they would take it back and tell me not to be so mean.

On this subject, what about the reverse? I am a senior in college. I am a veteran. I went back to school after getting out. I am good-looking. Most people at my "stage of life" are in their twenties. I have always dated younger. My STBX husband is 7 years younger than I am. The age gap was not the reason we separated. It was mostly the fact that he never wanted to do anything and resented me for wanting to make friends when we moved to a new state. (Because he's all I need, right? /s)

It's kind of crazy when I watch videos of Latinx getting their DNA admixture results. They're always like, "What?! I'm 70% European?! I'm white?" Like... What did you think you were? The other parts are going to be a mix of Native American and a small amount of African. If people who actually are Latinx don't understand that, some racist idiot isn't.

I moved to a new state after I got married. We knew nobody, and we lived in a small development far from the city. It was a long drive just to get groceries. I hated it. He hated it. I went out of my way to go out with friends I met from school, went to the gym, joined a soccer club, visited historical monuments, and started genealogy research. So, if I'm not ready to be with anyone, I don't know how anyone who has any negative feelings about a divorce or break up can be ready after a few months. Do not for any reason go hard. At the beginning, you have all this motivation to lose the weight, but if you overdo it, you will fail. Make small goals and slowly increase them. There's a reason why men have supported females for centuries. Women sacrificed their lives to bring their children into the world. If they don't want to provide, we can just IVF now. Men donate their sperm because they need money and their sperm is a replenishing resource. They aren't bothered. Women don't need men. Men go crazy without sex, apparently. They need us.

I think the reason the majority of women go through a lesbian or bi "phase" is because of this. We want to be sexually attracted to women because they give us the kind of relationships that are emotionally fulfilling. The problem is that we aren't sexually attracted to women no matter how much you try to be. Sexuality isn't a choice, and it sucks.

Teenager?! They should start "helping" as soon as they can walk. Babies love to imitate. Get him a pretend vacuum or even monitor him with a little handheld vacuum. You or dad can go back over it for him as a toddler, but chores should start small for toddlers and gradually get more complex. You can't just start them as teens after letting them do nothing for 13 years. They will make less mess if they have to clean up after themselves when they're small.

He asked some girl to ask me for my number, followed me to my car when I said no, didn't speak English so he had to talk to me through a translation app. He changed it up to "let's be friends". I kept saying no. I had to tell Siri to tell him I wasn't interested in being his friend. It was just crazy. He stared at me for the rest of work.

Oh, I left him. I haven't regretted a thing. Felt a little guilt at first, but life is much brighter now.

Doesn't feel comfortable marrying you. Feels comfortable asking you to move countries. My husband wouldn't move states without us being married. He took us to the courthouse once he lined up a job, didn't even really propose because "we already talked about it." And we're getting divorced now. You'd think that's bad, but at least he needs to help me out or I can ask for alimony.

The only thing either one of us needs to know is if it has been 30 days since the last time. That's when we both get tested. No sex unless I see those test results.

I didn't say it wasn't. It is very risky, though. Since you're dating a veteran, I would say even moreso. I married mil to mil. Make sure he pays into an account for you to use if you decide to leave. If you have kids and divorce, you won't have anything to fall back on and it will be hard to find another man to take care of you if you have a child or if you leave 15 years down the road. I want to get married again and be a mother. I just happen to love what I do, as well.

Oh damn. This changes completely what I think about him. I used to work at Disneyland. I met him there once. He talked to me for an hour that night. I thought he was so nice and down to earth because he only talked about me. He is very charismatic.

I got a perfect score on the ASVAB and went open electrical. The culture in the military sucks for women in those areas. They never gave me any real work-related leadership opportunities as an E3 or E4. I got staff on the first try but ultimately decided to separate when my 4 years were up because of this and the knowledge that I could make more on the outside. Most of the women I worked with were using TA. Most of the men didn't. Why wouldn't you go to school for free while you're in? It doesn'…

I'm a veteran. I could stop going to school and make 90k because of my training. I decided to get my electrical engineering degree instead. Companies who have defense contracts pay really well and look for veterans who basically did the same thing I did in the military. Not all military jobs are equal outside, though. A lot of vets have trouble getting jobs because they were burger flippers or worked in the gym.

I've seen my father's court records. My uncles actually told me what happened when I was 30. My mother's five brothers had to remove us (their four kids) from the house. They wouldn't let either one of them have access to us. They only let my mother have us once she had left him and agreed to divorce him. I know how high value men treat their wives from my uncles' marriages and my grandparents. Found out my father died two years ago from an aneurysm... A month after his meth arrest.

My husband bought me something for my birthday, but he ignored me that whole week. Not a word was said. Just because he bought me something expensive doesn't mean anything. I left him a few days later (went looking for apartments first). It's three months until my birthday, and this guy who likes me is getting me something, and we aren't even dating. (I told him I am not dating at least until the divorce is final and probably not until I start graduate school. I'm starting senior year.)

They are attending post-secondary education at a rate lower than women. We are heading toward a future where we are the breadwinners. The only way to change this is to stop settling for men who don't invest in their own education (trades count). I'm not saying college is for everyone.

I'm half. My white dad was not in my life. We had to leave him when I was five. My mother had five kids with him. She was pregnant with my younger sibling when we left. So was a woman across town. Edit to say I am the oldest.

All religions plagiarized off previous religions. The fact that all the Abrahamic religions have the same god makes me laugh because there are probably thousands of sub-religions but they all think their one is right. The fact is that nearly all of them make women's roles in service to men. I can't get on board with any of that.

My ex had a bigger dick than this guy, and he was very careful not to hurt me. It helped that he had me trembling before his pants were off, though. If she had only one bad experience with the way he has sex, she will never be completely relaxed. It sounds like he isn't good in bed.

This is crazy. My friend and I visited my sister (we all live in different states) so we stayed at her and her husband's place. My sister had no problem going to bed while her husband and the two of us stayed up late drinking a couple beers and chatting in the kitchen in our PJs. You know we weren't wearing bras because PJs. No problems at all because why would there be? He doesn't leer at us like we are objects.

You could tell by the way he looked at her that there was nobody else for him. He was going to do everything to be with her. I loved how she wasn't sure about moving in with him and didn't hide the way she felt about it.

When my parents got divorced, my father only wanted the boys. He didn't get them of course because he would have had to go to court... And as he had another woman pregnant at the same time my mother was pregnant, and he already had another child years before their marriage with a 13 year old child.... That was not gonna happen.
