I think it's not that men are more conservative but rather that there's no space where they fit on the progressive spectrum -- think of it as a negative pressure -- so you get this mix of stances that they call the "manosphere". Those you see aren't conservatives, but rather orphaned progressives

Key here is that male baldness is a COSMETIC procedure. You could do the same calculation for prostate cancer getting $250 million for research (NIH) vs breast enhancement surgery which is a $3 billion industry. Focus here, as per what concerns men, is that the baldness industry is extremely exploitative but almost no one talks about it as damaging to the self-esteem of men or that it promotes unhealthy beauty standards.

You're right in that the option to consent itself is born from an expression of desire, but it also goes both ways. Because even if you develop the ability to express that desire, your options will still be societally restricted, and you'll be pushed back into suppression of consent -- as you can see from other commenters here saying they received violence and scorn for daring to say no. It's both an individual and societal problem, not something that men can fix only by working on themselves.

TBH it means the default point of view through history has been male, which is true. Problem is that the term has been weaponized into equating male with bad as if points of view themselves carried some kind of moral value, thus leading to the unending gender war we see today.

Unluckily, that's the word everyone understands. Changing it would take years of campaigning and going against feminist dogma, while changing it's MEANING would be way quicker and would yield way less resistance bc feminists have been saying (at lest in theory) that it affects men all along. That's... full on true. When talking about sex everyone talks about giving or denying consent, but no one asks what happens when you raise a child to actively suppress his own choice. There's a good report on sexual extortion among genders, and it turns out boys and girls experience it about the same rate, though in the case of boys it's mostly for money. It's a matter of how you frame it. Large populations with similar incentives will always aggregate towards common traits, which is often read backwards as "how we are", but if you change the pressures around those incentives the common traits will naturally follow. So what you see as "temperament" is really a reflection how individuals react on a point in time, even if biological constraints don't change how we experience and react to them can indeed be altered.

It's both. Saying "hardwired" is a gross oversimplification. Biology guides what your needs are and how you interact with the world, those interactions at scale repeat and become social norms, and social norms are themselves a social construct so they can be modified with enough social pressure. Biology acts as a baseline for what your relationship with other is going to be, and the rest is purely based on the conditions you experienced growing up and the political/cultural gestalt of the times

Mens liberation is a paradox due to the lack of biological grounding. We identify as men not because of what our bodies do but what we do for others, so without the "good masculinity" we don't have any glue to hold us together as an identifiable gender.
