I can see that as being a good thing though. If indecisiveness is a negative trait, then we now can see that it exists across the board as a human trait. Not just a female one.

If its in the video-tapers residence it is not illegal. If it is in a place that has a reasonable expectation of privacy (a bathroom for example) it is illegal. This is why home surveillance is not illegal. Adding audio complicates things and I think this varies from state to state.

It is illegal if it goes beyond reasonable means to attain the footage. As in, if the bay windows are wide open and they are standing in there, that's not really peeping-tom worthy. But if someone is hiding in a closet, animal housing it with a ladder, or other shady means, than it not only is illegal to film them, but also to even spy on them (peeping tomism is a crime).

Being a fudge packer is a euphemism for a gay man having anal sex. Why is this a problem? I'm not trying to be overly PC, but if you're in a place like TPP, a place for dialogue and discussion, terms like "cock carousel" still don't have concrete definitions. It implies a lot. Like you just said "usually more attractive" but you couldn't possibly know that. And terms like that imply disdain. Can't have discussions if you're already coming to the podium with the idea that RP is 100% infallible. I…

Language is a huge deal when discussing things like this. When you hear words like "cock carousel" or "whore" it just sounds like it is coming from a place of hate. Of course no one could argue or explain appropriately if they are full of rage about a scenario. It makes the RP lose credibility. If we could discuss these gender dynamics like adults, I do believe that even I (purple pill) could agree with a lot of RP observations. A lot of RP women make a lot of sense to me, but the male voices on…

I'm saying that genitalia, in the grand scheme of things, SHOULD be considered equal commodities. Not that they ARE that. And yes, because we have differing ideas of what equal means, in terms of gender and respect, then we can't continue this dialogue (as I've already stated).
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/15 01:40 AM

I mostly have a problem with the way RP is always arguing with women about women. Like we are lying to strangers on the internet so that women culture of deception and hypergamy can continue to exist. Like we are the police of the dating world. So many of the tenets of RP are based around values and morality that are not universal. Demanding that the rest of world bow to those values and morality is unrealistic. Part of the value system is worshipping or demonizing certain genitalia (something I…

Money does the same thing. It makes me unhappy that I can't have as much as I want while making millionaires feel the standard problems associated with being rich. Guess we should shame anyone with money too.

I am saying that your definition of equality is flawed. Separate but equal is not equal. My whole point is that genitalia should be considered equal regardless of whether the member protrudes or intrudes.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/15 09:37 PM
1

Having the definitions of equality is essential to continue this dialogue. What you are proposing is a separate but equal option, which still isn't fundamentally equal. Somehow genitalia holds separate worths. Either the penis is somehow more sacred and overuse of it means ostracizing the woman/gay man. This means that the vagina is less sacred. Or the penis is less sacred and the overuse of it means that the woman/gay man isn't special by obtaining it. This then means that the vagina is more sa…

This makes more sense than any other thing in this thread. Thank you for explaining this rationally without all the buzzwords. While I agree with your overall statement, I do believe that there are phases people go through. "Getting slutty with it" can sometimes help people grow up. As in, you learn that not everyone cares about you. It can also be used to cope with some weird hang ups that after coming to that realization that people either don't care about you or you get your frustrations out …

This whole thread is full of double standards and utter bullshit. People fuck. Its nature. We're animals. Animals fuck. People fuck. people fuck. People fuck, ya'll! It shouldn't mean that either gender should be shamed for what everyone does. I just don't understand how you even know. RPers, when you get with a girl who seems LTR worthy, do you ask, "how much of a stupid whore are you exactly?" Also, if its in men's nature to fuck anything that walks, then why can women have that card too? Why …

See, that's the problem. We don't view fucking hot men as rewarding them for being hot men. We see it as, "I wanna fuck. You're pretty hot." Its not a fucking barter system. MEn become promiscuous because YOU encourage it, you create it, and you perpetuate it. I mean that make sense. If women stop fucking men, men won't have anyone to fuck! Its all our fault.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/15 04:18 PM

And it's not like that couldn't apply to social expectations either like he just described. It's just argument for the sake of argument. I rarely post here anymore because they never actually read what is being said. Which, now that I think about it, explains a lot as to why they need sexual strategy advice.

Waiting tables while in school. I lean towards BP only because I think it's important to understand power dynamics and BP seems to want to level the scale.

You misquoted me. I said it is possible for men to cum and not orgasm. But anyway I guess that you're not really getting what I'm saying. That RP self help (in theory) is great but treating everything like you have no say in how you choose to feel or whatever else happens in your life is pretty childish.

Oh for fucks sake. I'm so tired of this non argument that men are hornier than women while they complain about the cock carousel. What, you're super horny so you feel things more intensely than women? That's bullshit. Women don't get off the way men do because it's not a 50/50 effort. I'm not saying women do more work, I'm saying men often focus on themselves. Take it from someone who has been on the cock carousel and dated a fairly diverse selection. There is too much focus in RP over biologica…

That's actually the opposite of what I am saying. And it has nothing to do with evolution. Gender roles were once based on biological needs and now they are not. Gender roles are not inherent, but biological needs are. Gender roles in society are based on culture, which is learned. Unless you are talking about say, breast feeding, that would be a biological need but not a role.

I, for one, totally want this. I want a SAHD to raise the kids while I go to work. Granted, it's a two way street. You don't get to stay at home and slack off. SAHD is a job too. And gender roles bullshit is just that-- bullshit. Biological needs? Sure-- if we're all cavemen and people need to hunt and gather. Shit changes. Women can do men shit. Men can do women shit. It's cool.

Aside from religious persecutions/dire situations that do not apply to 1st world America, anyone who has hymen reconstruction surgery to "be a virgin" again is crazy delusional. Sex isn't just a physical thing, once you've had sex, you've had sex and, mentally, you are different. It would be totally wrong for a woman to identify as a virgin after she had the surgery. There is a lot more involved than the integrity of your stupid hymen.

This is the best breakdown of TRP that I have seen. Thank you for explaining that objective "truths" are not part of TRP claims. My biggest problem with PPD is that it is not a debate, but rather a shouting match of 100% fact (that isn't at all fact). I'm not RP, but I appreciate this breakdown and explanation of perspective.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/15 03:57 AM

After all this, I guess I'm just trying to get at the essence, the meat and potatoes, of both pills. What makes something uniquely RP or BP. Is it control? Finances? Who calls the shots? Sexual strategy? You could elaborate infinitely on any of these facets. But what gets to the heart of the theories?

Oh. It's my situation. This just naturally evolved. We don't subscribe to any philosophy.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/15 07:48 PM

So, would you say that the base of both theories is determined by the negotiation of control, more so than any other factor?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/15 05:32 PM
2

I tend to disagree with this. This might be a bad example, but The Simpsons, for example, Marge controlled the money and balanced finances. (Granted because Homer was irresponsible and clueless) However, the person kind of running the house (children and chores) would be expected to, well, run the house. And that includes being the accountant. Also: So it depends who is calling the shots on whether it is RP/BP?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/15 05:14 PM
8

What if the man calls the shots? Serious question: why does being in control of the finances matter more than being in control of the children/ home life?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/15 04:57 PM
0

And I've been rejected and verbally abused by people but I don't assume everyone will do that for salvation of my mental safety. Different perspectives I guess. If I operated so that the outcome would always be in my favor, out of fear of some loss, I would never leave the house or have much of a life at all. Is this just your perspective, or is this RP theory?

But if you're assessing blame, it would be the woman's fault. Yeah you got punched in the face, but it's not your fault. You weren't being the jackass. I know that doesn't help much, but people suck and it happens. I've been punched before too and I don't avoid any and all respect for fear of getting punched.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/15 05:32 PM

Why did she agree to dance with him if she was taken? That doesn't make any sense. It seems the problem wasn't with asking the woman, but with the woman saying yes when she should have said no.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/15 01:50 AM

And yet TBP doesn't find a problem with TRP being attracted to vapid sex dolls. Actually, dating, fucking, and wedding the sex dolls isn't a problem either.

Ok. Sorry. I just feel like I'm repeating myself a lot. It would eventually turn into both. That is, if coming from a singular person. I've found that as quality increases, quantity increases. Think of a product. The better quality it has the more quantity it will sell. Sex is similar. I've found one night stands to be kind of a bummer as a whole. It wasn't necessarily my advice, but I'm not sure adopting a manifesto that you yourself did not develop and adapt it to your life whole-heartedly is the way to go either. Nobody at TRP is looking for a dialogue between genders. There's no use to such a thing.> This still does not negate my belief that: I believe it's actually stunting dialogue between genders and therefore stunting social development as a whole. is not a reality. absolutely nothing, just don't call women sluts/teases when they do the same thing. LOL at trp being "stuck in 1910" or whatever. Nothing like this existed in any remote way back then. TRP is about adapting to modern realities, not coercing regressive social change. It does come off that way when rules are made for "handling" women.

For me, in English we dissected a few stories through different "lenses" or, literary critiques. A few of them were Marxism/Althusser, Psychoanalytical (or Freud), New Historicism, and of course, feminism. The point was that you can read say, "Jane Eyre" and with each of "lenses" take away a different meaning/interpretation of the text. It just teaches you to read into things more to find power dynamics or conflict where you didn't see them before. I assume autoNFA is referring to something simi…

Didn't say offended. Even without personal attacks, the inference is that the "them" != to "us". You generalize that women assume all men are misogynistic. The irony is pretty funny. Relationships are complicated because people are complicated. Not because everyone is playing each other and being rejected for petty reasons. What I don't understand is that instead of working on finding someone who is compatible and understands you as a person, TRP thinks up formulas to dating, rather than just be…

When men who adhere to such strange and stringent social rules like RPers do because of their philosophy, it's easy to assume that at least the RPers are misogynistic. Men in general are not, but there is such a them vs us mentality that is placed between the sexes with TRP, it is almost a requirement to view the "them" side as being inferior. edit: a word

On an everyday level, I completely agree. Fitting into niches has a lot to do with one on one interactions and not ideas about stereotypes as a whole. However, eating disorders and model emaciation are extremes and although I may not have worded it well, I meant to it to be a more casual goal of wearing a size 4-6 from a store in the mall, not high fashion.

I see your point. However, the problem isn't that they want to be attractive to men, because men want to be attractive to women as well. The problem is that the general consensus of attractiveness is portrayed to be a specific way through the media. Everyone wants to be attractive to their sexual opposites, but the idea that it is a specific stereotype forwarded by men, is where I see the problem. I don't really feel it as a conspiracy, just something that isn't thought about through everyday li…

I disagree with the thinness bit. The fashion industry coupled with the media industry, such as Cosmo and other bs like that, are also influenced, if not controlled by men. The promotion of attractiveness is for the benefit of the male audience. There was something on here about forever 21 being a Christian company. After telling some friends this fact I was met with "but look at the skanky clothes they sell". Without getting into religion too much, the ideals all point to "clothes made for stra…
