Being around and being dominant are two very different things. Plus even if it was dominant from the time of ancient Greece that would only mean it's been present for less one quarter of the history of civilisation.

Nope not even close modern society is actually extremely prudish due to the prevalence of Abrahamic religions and morals. Current day just so so happens be very sex positive in comparison to recent history. Edit: spelling mistakes

In fact most men didn't. Sufferigists were the actual group that wanted the equal emacipation of women, but for some reason they peaceful civl group of protestors that actually led to change are always overlooked. Kind of like today if you think about it.

Hating on a political movement does not equate to misogyny. Although admittedly it is not exactly amazing discourse. However, it should be noted that a large percentage of the 'hate' is generated in response to their own 'hate'. Essentially the people of this subreddit are just posting the backlash.
