250k isn’t a crazy amount of money to make ( when you account for taxes, and planning for retirement, especially if you want to retire early, which is something a lot of people who put in the extra effort to get to that income want) But it is a lot of money to actually spend per year. I know people who do it, and it seems crazy and wasteful to me. But then again I know people who make 7 figures and spend it all and occasionally need to ask to borrow money to pay some bills or go do something.

I come from one of the lower income states, my family and older friends I grew up around with all made less than that. I didn’t come from a wealthy family. But in my mid-late 20’s I started playing higher stakes poker. So most of my “peers” that I spend the most time around are doctors, lawyers, engineers, those in financial services, I.T., self employed tradesman ( roofers, plumbers, electricians, landscapers etc), work in real estate, own a small business or franchise, etc or are professional …

yes, and I typically date women who already are compatible with my life. The original poster was implying that the women in his area wanted on average this list of requirements that included dancing, even for the " plain middle class girls" in his words. I wouldn't say it is simping to work on any of the other things he mentioned, as in earning more, learning to be funny, being confident, keeping in shape to be more handsome, etc. you don't have to take lessons to become a master at those things…

I made 257 last year, so, pretty much right on the nose there as far as being in that range. I also can not dance past a basic waltz that I was taught as a child ( because it was stressed to me that being able to at least do a basic dance with a woman would be important one day, so I was taught how to do the most basic dance and lead, etc). I've never dated a woman who demand I be able to dance well, But I also am more attracted to the nerdy/dorky/geeky/homebody/introvert type of girl the most a…

Pretty much anywhere. If you’re making 250k and the women in your area demand a “good dancer” as a deal breaker, you can easily pay for basic dance levels to get you to a level above the average untrained dancer most likely. Plenty of guys spend more on dumber things they think will impress women.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
