I agree, but unfortunately a significant portion of the people on this sub are just looking for justification to hate women.

It makes sense, you just dont want to admit you're logic is shitty. It does mean shit because it means he got what he should have and the OPs claim about how he would get more if he wasnt a poor opressed white man, is complete bollocks. fucking projection, youre the one using buzzwords and taking advantage of this subs echo chamber.

when everyone knows this shit happens all the time "everyone knows this happens" is bullshit logic and the same arguments people use for women and minorities constantly being discriminated against. and a paltry sum of money. This website shows that the median payout in the UK for a discrimination suit is ~7k Ask yourself why this triggers you so much? So because I dont automatically agree with you im """triggered""". Way to show you're not arguing in good faith. I was just asking who "they" is. …

XX and conventionally attractive. I guarantee they wouldnt have hired a overweight spotty-faced woman instead of the man.

He would have gotten a much larger settlement from those charges if he hadn’t been a white male You're just talking out of your arse mate. For one these go on a case by case basis and how much you origionally pay in legal fees can change how much you actually get paid out. Secondly, looking at over examples of discrimination cases in the UK you can see that 7k is pretty good. Here is a case of two Chinese people being racially abused and getting 2.5K and this link shows the average payouts for d…

Who's "they" in this situation? The vast majority of people that care about discrimination are not in a position to hire other people. Also just because this person was dicriminated against, doesnt mean women dont also get discriminated

Why does it have to be black and white? This man being discriminated against, doesnt mean that women or black people dont get discriminated agaisnt.

I agree, and to get ahead of some other arguments people have/might bring up: The actual crime they're charged with doesnt affect what you can call the (So a newspaper could still say "Women charged for raping man" and couldnt be sued for defamation, based on the charge being sexual assault, not rape.) ONS reports dont separate rape from other sexual offences (and are based on surveys not just prosecutions) Statistics show that recent changes to the way we report sexual offences in the UK have a…

Fair enough. I miss the days when people asked for clarification during conversations, and didn't just willy-nilly toss out derogative terms to dismiss others. make a derogatory comment, get derogatory replies .

"concerned about the direction species is headed" Man I miss the days when misogynists would just be straight with you rather then trying to come up with a lame excuse to justify their opinions.

Because not all accusation based of gender/race/religion are automatically wrong. But they are automatically bigoted People of all colours commit crimes. Not every gender attempts to get out of bad situation by pointing out their gender. It just seems like you're a bigot trying to justify being abigot.

That's not what the evidence suggests http://uk.businessinsider.com/britain-doubled-minimum-wage-with-no-effect-on-unemployment-2017-10 And supply and demand mostly only affects capitalist economies and even then actual laws still take priority. For example a few countries are considering implementing a minimum price on alcohol, if that becomes law than evrn if supply goes way up and demand comes down alcohol will never drop below that minimum price.

Yes, its just much less common. A freind of mine was overpaid at his last job and to compensate for that the next time he was paid he was only given £70 for a 12 hour shift.

In the UK we have workers rights. So yes there is such a thing as being under paid.
