Wanting to kill yourself often comes with depression but it can also come without it, and I interpret your statement to say that you wanted to kill yourself without suffering from depression. Sometime people don't see or refuse to see how serious your problems are. I had depression and nobody took it seriously until I made them believe I would kill myself.
