The consistent position that I’m advocating for is that innate (ie, presumably biological) differences are difficult to differentiate from sociological and environmental. This doesn’t say we shouldn’t study them - we should, but the mechanisms underlying any reported difference are probably themselves worthy of deeper investigation instead of falling back on presumptions. Unmeasured confounding is always a risk with this type of work. But why post it? A lot of the commentary to your initial post seems to de facto assume that lower rates of male physicians (and I guess lawyers) is inherently a bad thing, with multiple comments yearning for a time when MDs were all men.
