Where are you getting the figures that lead you to conclude these men are the minority? Because the available research just doesn't seem to support your claim. For example, one recent study found that when men in the US and Canada were given the ability to respond anonymously, 95.1% admitted to having recently used one or more coercive strategies to obtain sex from women who they knew did not want sex with them and had not consented (often multiple times). On average, these respondents reported …

Most of this stuff is just blatant misogyny, not so much characteristically Red Pill (though no doubt his misogyny lead him to Red Pill).

You're a man. Your perception of what other men are actually like (no offense to you personally) is inherently limited, because how men behave around other men, and how they present themselves socially. Yes, plenty of men are great people in society. They can be kind, collaborative, supportive, and respected leaders, but many women have had the experience of those same men being a completely different person behind closed doors - with wives, girlfriends, and sexual partners. There was a phenomen…

"majority of men are cool and nice but women are still scared of violence and mean rejections." ---- lol bro what??? Majority of men are cool and nice to EACH OTHER. To women, they are a completely different person, and if only you could experience being a woman for a day, to see the extent of just how nasty, abusive and sexually aggressive so many of these "nice guys" are, you would understand why so many women have serious trust issues, and have no interest in men nowadays. Men have an account…

They always do this. Every single fucking time lol. It's why I stopped dating years ago, because the vast majority of men are like this nowadays. They just can't accept a genuine, fun and peaceful connection without creating drama, playing their power games, going out of their way to be intentionally hurtful and often nasty, and running all their Red Pill tactics on you. There's only so much of this women can tolerate before they just step away completely. And now that women are stepping away th…

You've probably encountered many (since most men are nowadays(, just this guy is a loser and made it obvious. As a woman myself, best advice I can give is to read up on Red Pill and their tactics and really familiarize yourself with it, so that you can spot it as soon as it starts to play out. I can count at least 6 - 7 tactics he was running on you. He's not worth another minute of your time. Good riddance, honestly.

^^^ I second this. Ghosting is the only appropriate response here. This guy is clearly a Red Pill'ed loser who thinks he's running game, and nothing better than to bruise his giant ego and let him face the consequences of his actions. Nothing will drive the point home clearer like a good ole' ghosting.

Lol bro, you're obviously still carrying a lot of Red Pill framing, because you clearly don't seem to know what feminism actually is outside of what those communities told you it is. Just because Red Pill brands itself as a "war against feminism" doesn't make feminism responsible for it. That's like saying white supremacy exists because of civil rights, or that homophobia exists because LGBTQ people demanded equal rights. An extremist movement blaming the group it targets doesn't suddenly make t…

Your suggestion that the Manosphere is a result of feminism is basically the monkey experiment in human form - the monkey who was used to getting two bananas isn't actually harmed when the other monkey finally starts getting one, he's just furious that he no longer has the advantage of getting more. That's the part a lot of men struggle with. Feminism didn't take anything away from men, it just challenged the assumption that men were entitled to more by default, and a lot of men couldn't handle …

Why do so many men assume that every women has men lined up waiting to love them? Sure, men would like to use women for their bodies, but actually liking them (let alone loving them) rarely happens. I can guarantee you that there are plenty of shy and socially awkward women out there, who also feel overlooked and ignored for the exact reasons that you do. You're certainly not alone.

I've noticed that too. I'm an immigrant in the US myself, and I've noticed a huge amount of the South Asian male community (Indians mostly, but also Bangladeshis), as well as Central Asians are huge Red Pill'ers. Much more so than Americans themselves.

But you're proving my point by essentially saying that you could care less what women have to deal with, all you care about is your own pocket and what impacts you. Did you ever consider that some women might expect you to pay because when you expose yourself as having ideologies like this, you're proving you don't give a shit about women outside of what they can do for you?

They're not different topics though - they're the same conversation. And "those people" not concerned about women's safety, are not just some small minority, "those people" are literally the vast majority of men. You're asking women to be sympathetic to men's financial burden because of the "cost of living crisis", while ignoring that dating is statistically one of the most dangerous things women do. Women are already paying the highest price of all, and yet men are crying about the possibility …

Funny how "equality" suddenly becomes a huge priority when the conversation is about women paying for a coffee or a lunch. Yet when it's about the fact that women are far more likely to be raped, stalked, assaulted, or killed by a male partner, that same energy is nowhere to be found. If so many men aren't willing to show the same outrage over women's safety as they do over paying for a date, why are women expected to be so concerned about protecting men's wallets?

From what I've observed, Red Pill'ers in relationships always think they can (and should) do better. They convince themselves that the woman that they actually want are all fawning over the same 6' Chads, and the women they do have access to just aren't up to their standards. Imho, any adult man in a relationship diving deeper into the Red Pill is not happy within myself or his relationship. His example of a "death stare" by a cashier is purely speculative. Did the woman explicitly say "you're a pig for making her pay" or anything of that nature? Or did he just not like the look of the woman, and concluded she was giving him a 'death stare', because he was feeling triggered and insecure about himself, and because of all the Red Pill content he reads online? Let me give you another example. The male gas station attendant was curt to me (I'm a woman) - he must be a misogynistic pig wh…

No offense to you, but I don't care to invest too much time in this topic because it's a futile argument. Red Pillers will believe whatever the Red Pill spoon-feeds them because it validates their resentment toward women, and feeds into their victimhood - "uwuu poor me, I'm just a poor wittle man". If you genuinely think being flown out and treated like an unpaid sex worker, receiving thousands of harassing DMs from men, and being relentlessly sexualized somehow equates to "success" or proves wo…

You're not a virgin, yet you're demanding a virgin who hasn't even dated? That's a pretty convenient standard for someone who doesn't meet it himself. What you're describing isn't some enlightened "preference" that you landed on. You're looking for someone with no experience, no point of comparison, and no benchmark for what a healthy relationship, or even good sex, looks like. Men with any real world life experience, any maturity, and any semblance of mental and emotional stability don't hold these views. And I would say that's not just an observation, but one shared by the vast majority of people. In all honesty, I'd suggest you seek out a therapist or counselor who can help you address whatever it is that are fueling these beliefs. These kinds of views will only lead you down a very dark and lonely path in life.

It's exactly that - an abuse of power. And because women aren't willing to exploit, and abuse their power to date the youngest, and most vulnerable members of society they're apparently 'hypergamous' by comparison. Logic like this are just predators telling on themselves, and announcing it to the rest of the world.

I can't get over just how BAD this analogy is. It's basically saying, "men are willing to abuse a position of authority, and violate professional ethics by pursuing a vulnerable person, while women wouldn't do the same" - and yet it's presented as 'evidence' to suggest that women are the hypergamous ones lol??? That's not hypergamy! That's a comparison between unethical conduct and professional boundaries, and if anything, it suggests that the men are more willing to exploit power imbalances and…

The part about the RP / Manosphere that I find incredible is that if its main objective were to create purpose and camaraderie among men, that would be one thing. Instead, it seems to be designed to make men feel inadequate, insecure, and inferior to one another, while encouraging and promoting the objectification, degradation, and abuse of women. Yes, most men will fuck anything, but their standards of what they want (and what they expect to have) tend to be quite high - even for objectively unattractive men. Inversely, most women won't fuck anything, but have pretty low expectations of what they are after.

Sure, a lot of men will fuck anything. That is why they've found semen in dead bodies, cattle, lizards etc. However that kind of sex that you're describing (and that most men also have to offer to women) is extractive and benefiting to the man only. A woman gains absolutely nothing (no pleasure and no enjoyment) from that kind of sex. In addition to sex that benefits the man only, most of the these men don't even have the capacity to view women as people, or treat them with any baseline respect.…

The irony too is just how much young women are sexualized, coerced, and pressured into sexual acts, and yet simultaneously punished for being "sexually active" by the very same people who pressured them into sex in the first place. Surely, if these men valued a woman's virginity as much as they claim they do, wouldn't there be far greater emphasis on respecting women's boundaries, discouraging sexual pressure, and holding other men accountable for pursuing sex at every opportunity? Instead, thes…

Speaking as a woman myself, RP ideology is so widespread, that there's no way to avoid RP'ers in the dating game, unless you remove yourself from dating completely (which is what I've done, and personally encourage other women to do so). However if you are to date, I would strongly encourage you and your friends to really familiarize yourself with the RP tactics (so you can spot and identify them early on), and always, always maintain and enforce boundaries of steel.

Because to be attracted to somebody, most women need to feel emotionally and physically safe, and they know a man's appearance is no reflection of his capacity to meet that for her. Most men (probably like yourself) are ultimately just looking for sex, and are only focused on women's bodies and physical attributes.
/r/ExRedPill22/06/26 05:05 PM

This is another great example of how RP robs young men of normal, lived experiences that would otherwise help positively shape their identities. I've personally observed several RP men trash several women and relationships they had access to (that they could have otherwise greatly benefited from) because of the RP belief that they would do better at a certain age, at that ultimately whatever they had access to at that time was nothing more than a worthless, place-holder for them for the time bei…

I mean the question I always ask is, where did they think this would all go? That women would just continue to tolerate the abuse, and mistreatment, and that their threshold for tolerating said violence would just get greater? It's like they never once considered that women would wise up to the Red Pill playbook, and withdraw from men completely. Every woman I know, and every woman I speak to, is no longer dating men, and these are women in their twenties, thirties, forties and beyond. Men reall…

Women always end up as collateral damage in 'men's trauma' - you can thank the patriarchy for that! And yes their trauma may be valid, but the abuse they inflict onto women is not. Those two things don’t cancel each other out, and one doesn’t excuse the other. Recently, a German police chief recently came forward, and said that women should not be dating men . Unsurprisingly, his statement resulted in him receiving death threats from other men - proving just how quickly the conversation shifts a…

Imho, that's the biggest problem with discussions of Red Pill. Everything is always framed as men being the ‘victims’. Men being the ‘victims’ that ultimately leads them to the Red Pill, and men being the ‘victims’ once they're caught up in the Red Pill. It never reflects on women, who are the real victims of Red Pill. And because that framing is never challenged, it ends up justifying a lot of the behavior that comes out of it. There’s no real accountability because the narrative always ends up…

As far as the bisexuality factor? Oh absolutely. My comment in regards to that is only because OP mentioned it, and because I do believe it's a factor for some of them. I certainly don't believe it's a factor for all. I would wager that most of RP men I have come across (at least the most extreme ones), were all straight.
/r/ExRedPill24/04/26 12:00 AM
1

Absolutely. And I think it's also the social conditioning in how men and women approach bisexuality in the opposite gender. Generally speaking, it's much more socially acceptable for a woman to be bisexual, than the inverse. A lot of women who come out as 'bisexual' to their male partners are treated with excitement, and there's even the assumption of sexual deviancy, that the woman is open to threesomes etc. Where as men often report experiencing the opposite, and that women are usually put off…

I'm very sorry you went through this. Speaking as a woman myself, and as somebody who has been on the receiving end of RP tactics - my take is that RP men are incredibly homosocial, are constantly seeking out validation and approval from their fellow RP peers, and as a result this often leads to a ganging up effect on their 'target'. While RP presents itself as an understanding of how to attract women - it's largely structured around male to male dynamics, validation and hierachy. For RP men, ma…

Hilarious that you keep conflating the two and think that women don't have a right to protect themselves, any more than men do. Find me evidence that 4B advocates for and encourages the psychological and physical harm of men, putting men 'in their place' and teaches women how to perpetrate that harm. Find me evidence that 4B advocates for the removal of men's rights in an already matriarchal society. If you think 4B is the same as RP you are gravely mistaken. You can keep your head buried in the…

You’re arguing against an extreme version of 4B and assuming it applies to everyone in the same way. For a lot of women, it’s not about hating men - it’s about opting out of dynamics that have consistently harmed, or exhausted them. Choosing distance isn’t the same as dehumanizing an entire group - it’s simply laying down a boundary where one didn't exist beforehand. Again, I would strongly recommend you looking into an actual 4B. It might even help with your own internalized misogyny.

You might want to better familiarize yourself with what 4B is actually about, and then re-read OP's post. The thing that I never understand about this 'RP mindset' is that they never seem to factor in long-term consequences. Did it ever occur to them that women will only fooled by / tolerate so much before they wise up to this behavior and respond accordingly? A woman's life and thinking does not revolve around men in the way that a lot of these men seem to think. It's much easier for a woman to remove men from her life, than the other way around. Oh it's definitely trauma and mental illness for sure, but I believe it's also the patriarchal social conditioning of men as well. Men have been raised to believe that with little to no effort they are owed beautiful and submissive women, and that acquiring one was a birthright to them (look at 80's and 90's movies like My Stepmother is Not Alien and Overboard where hot, clueless and submissive women, fell into these mediocre men's laps). Speaking from my own anecdotal observations as a woman, RP men don't actually want relationships. They want to hook up, and they want to hook up with as many women as possible, so the effort poured into 'attracting' women (I would have to assume) is considered worthwhile once they've 'scored' and ideally scored big. So really, there's no emotional lifting or dealing with these parasitic creatures (women) after the fact. They also get the gratification of putting the woman 'in her place' by treat…

Whilst I think it's natural to want to socialize and question if the relationship is right for you, I would be mindful of how much energy you give to this behavior. A lot of that cold approach / PUA content comes off as performative and insincere, and a lot of women see through that. Also, imho, most of those cold approach men are the smash and dash types, and are incapable of anything beyond a surface-level connection. That might not be the case for you (as others have said - you sound like a well-adjusted guy), but a lot of women just won't risk it. Yes, women don't want you entirely because you are "shy". It has nothing at all to do with your ideologies or how you treat them.

I would also like to add critical thinking as well! A lot of boomers seem to have rocks for brains, they couldn't come up with an individual thought if their life depended on it.

But that's also the point? Men's mental health is first and foremost their own responsibility to take care of - not women's.

I think you’re misunderstanding the phrase “it’s not women’s job to heal men’s mental health struggles.” Women are not opposed to constructive, emotionally mature conversations with men. What they reject is the expectation that they should absorb the fallout of men's unprocessed emotions - expected to act as shock absorbers for emotional, psychological, or even physical abuse caused by men who refuse to take responsibility for their own emotional development.

You don’t need my permission to do anything. If the red pill is what you chose, I hope you enjoy the aftertaste.

I mean if this is how you talk to women, it's very easy to see why they don't like you. I know plenty of very 'average' men (average in the sense of looks, height and income), who scored beautiful, kind and loving women. These men *created for themselves\* successful relationships because they never felt entitled to relationships or women's bodies. They put in the work to be kind, loving and good people. Those are the foundations you need to be working on to attract the women that you want.

Based on this conversation alone, I suspect they're not blowing you off just because you don't fit a 'specific niche'. Have you actually tried treating women as people?
/r/ExRedPill29/01/26 07:39 AM

Actually it has plenty of relevance to what you're talking about, because if you were actually capable of considering another person's point of view instead of subscribing to this "poor me, I'm going to die alone" victim mindset, you would understand that there are A LOT of people (both men and women) that are ALSO lonely and longing for connection, and grieving a partnered life that they wish they had.

No one said you shouldn’t complain, and no one said your feelings don’t matter. But reducing what I said to “gee, rape exists” is nothing more than a deflection. I was explaining why many women are disengaging from dating and why certain narratives are making things worse - not trying to win a suffering competition here. If the conversation can’t include women’s reality without being treated as an attack, then it’s not actually a conversation. I mean, what exactly was the purpose of your post an…

You realize dating isn’t all sunshine and roses for women either, right?! For the vast majority of us women, it’s one of the most dangerous things we can do. I genuinely don’t know a single woman who hasn’t been raped, sexually assaulted, abused, or mistreated by a man. Men pretending to be “nice guys” who want commitment just to get sex and then block her number / disappear isn’t something that is new, nor is this behavior exclusive to the top percentile of men, or those who fit within that bs …

Dude, you should go to a fucking therapist already because you sound fucked!!! You have a girlfriend who loves you and wants to move across the country just to be with you, but your only takeaway is that she has a "very low self-esteem" and you want to cheat on her and also break up with her. You seriously need psychiatric help...

Yes I agree with that - I think her ending the relationship will make him go further off the deep end, but that's his own consequence he needs to face. RP men deserve each other, and certainly don't deserve access to women. The RP content itself is not just cruel it is sinister and predatory by design, and like you say, it preys on the vulnerable. Imho, the biggest irony of all is that the women who are punished (by RP ideology) are never the ones who caused that harm. Instead, the punishment is…

You're a good soul and clearly very self-aware. I would say just focus on educating the gf (your gf's twin) on what RP is and how to identify it in practice, and supporting her to break away from him. When I was RP'ed I didn't know what it was and had never even heard about it. I was also in a vulnerable place having just lost my mom to cancer. Now that I know what it is and how to identify it, I don't give these men the time of day. Imho, the absolute best protection against RP is education.

I agree with this. As a woman who has been RP'ed myself, the psychological damage it did still hurts me to this day. In this scenario, imho, the energy used should be focused on guiding this woman out of that relationship. A lot of men who fall into the RP movement, seem to go into it like a charging bull with little to nothing being able to stop them.

Drop the bullshit games - the push / pull, idis, the frame in seduction etc, are all abusive and will come back to haunt you.

I completely agree with all of this! And that was one of my biggest takeaways of the whole RP experience - I had ignored my gut and paid the price. I was also naive back then and didn't realize men could be so parasitic. I now know otherwise. Thank you so much for your kind words! Sending you love <3

Lol, the "bullet proof" was in response to the commenter who used the term ;) but you're completely right - and I don't know much about the teachings of RP, but I've noticed that the RP'ers are convinced that their 'virgin bikini model' who is essentially willing to be their servant whilst still going 50/50 with them exists in Eastern Europe, SE Asia or a country in Latin America. This delusion that that their standards are completely valid, because these woman are real fuels their own hateful r…

In my honest opinion, groups like 4B do a fantastic job at educating women. While I've never personally seen discussions about red pill in particular, they do a great job at educating women on abuse and creating safe spaces and community away from male-centered environments. But in my honest opinion, the only real answer is for women to collectively withdraw from all romantic and sexual relations with men. Given how widespread red pill'ers are now, the only way to effectively avoid them is by sh…

I know very little / next to nothing about the teachings of Red Pill, I'm only familiar with having been on the receiving end of it's tactics. However from just my experience, the nature of it seemed more akin to somebody who was set out to destroy me / test the parameters of how much abuse I would tolerate, as opposed to actually wanting to keep me addicted or around. It seemed much more of a psychological experiment (for their own personal gratification) more than anything.

I agree that self-esteem is a strong defense against red-pill tactics. However (in my honest opinion) it's not enough on it's own and it requires a three-pronged approach : solid self-esteem, stable circumstances and being able to dismantle the lifelong societal conditioning that teaches women to doubt themselves and absorb abuse and mistreatment. (EDIT)* But really, in my honest opinion the absolute best and most "bullet proof" approach to countering Red Pill is women removing themselves from t…

But is it really so easily avoidable? That's the part I'm not so sure about. Because if these intentionally abusive tactics (which always start off so subtly) are being used to manipulate women even in the work force now, how does one avoid them if not avoiding men completely?

Is this comment directed at me? Because I'm just simply speaking from my own experience. But if you want to focus on just staying in one lane, isn't the general consensus here that red pill is to be rejected the one lane everyone is staying in?

So sorry for what you went through! You totally get it, though. This has nothing to do with downplaying or diminishing the emotional and psychological pain of r@pe or SA - this is to emphasize just how painful, impacting and life-changing being red pilled can be.
