IIRC, there have been a few attempts to re-create the experiment, but none have had the same results. Yet, somehow, I still learned about the conclusions drawn by Zombardo as some sort of revealed wisdom in my sociology and social psychology classes. Zimbardo is an idiot who has basically been riding the popularity wave of a single extraordinarily flawed and unscientific study--the stanford prison experiment. 2	Woman gets violent on train, boyfriend protects himself without attacking in self defense, woman gets arrested she says "its not ok to mistreat girls" . i really don't like this: I don't even understand why he so hesitant to defend himself---well i do but....you can legally defend yourself by returning force to stop force. it also pisses me off that everyone on the train is just sitting around and watching and keeps calling it a fight and telling him to not hit her back--that's not a fight, its an assault.
