In the Canadian Charter of Rights, Section 6 (mobility rights) and Section 15 (equality rights) both have clearly stated exceptions for Affirmative action programs. The Canadian Charter of Rights was written in 1984. The politics of the time are clearly visible in it.

Most transgender people are not gender fluid. A transgender person is someone who is born with a male (for example) brain and a female body. This is a real thing with a lot of documented history and documentation. It is basically a type of birth defect. A gender fluid person is just hungry for attention and has hitched their wagon to the LGBT movement. The problem is that these people are taken seriously in some places.

Why is it when I point out the fact that poor people are more likely to have criminal records I always have people putting words in my mouth. In poor communities there is less opportunities which leads a higher percentage of people to do stupid things. Of course this is far from the majority but statistically it will be higher than in a middle class neighborhood. Also (like others pointed out) if you are poor you are less likely to be able to afford a lawyer which leads to more of them pleading …

Again Birth of a Nation is what created modern cinema. The morals of the movie might be disgusting but the cinematography and story telling ability of the movie still holds up to this day. The special effects were pretty good also. I'd highly recommend you watch it. The movie is public domain so it is available to watch for free on YouTube.

Trudeau actually didn't do much to achieve 50% women in his cabinet. What he mostly did was decrease the number of ministers from like 40 (cant remember the exact number) the Harper government to like 30 (same thing) and increased the number of women by 1 or 2. Trudeau's equal women cabinet is a giant political stunt that was not an actual accomplishment. It was Trudeau doing the absolute bare minimum and making it look like a giant thing.

Doesn't Amazon treat their employees like shit? I think I read an article about that several months ago. Employees apparently had to work unreasonably long hours and had a terrible working climate because of the peer review process (employees review how their collegues performed) which created a tribal mentality among the white collar employees.
