I don't think including short hair on that continuum is fair. Those things you listed are nearly universally awful to any cognitively semi-typical person. Short hair on chicks is pretty 'meh' to most people I know--they don't hate or love it, it's just whatever, they're not gonna reject a 9 cause she has a pixie cut. It's only weird for me cause I prefer it, dont personally know a lot of straight men that agree, but I also wouldn't turn down a 9 with long hair.

Who isn't friends with us? Russia, Afghanistan, North Korea, Turkey? Wow, ok. Virtually the rest of the world is some kind of trading partner with the U.S., they are in practical terms allies. No, I don't think they will. I think it's useful leverage down the line, not right now. Partnerships change hands all the time in the wonderful world of geopolitics. The U.S. was funding the Mujahideen 40 years. Perhaps Russia will be our greatest allies in another 40 years.

These countries don't have infrastructure or manpower to help. It's not fair or sensible to compare them like that. At the very least, if you really feel the way you do, you should be able to understand that the U.S. ought to provide aid if and only if to use it as political leverage later.
