I left my wife after 9 years of exactly this, 5 years ago. She said nobody at our age (me 42, her 47) has sex more than once a week. I have since had 5 sexual relationships with 5 women (all late 40s early 50s) who wanted to have sex more than I did. It was honestly amazing.

Hi there. I am going through a pretty shitty divorce and suspect my STBX is trying to alienate my son from me. I don't think she is intentionally doing it, but she has mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and panic disorder and whenever we argue she threatens to take full custody. She tells our son things like...I cry for days when you are not around me. Dad has everything and I have nothing. Things like that. I also read up a lot about enmeshment and suspect that may have something …

I think having as many consultations with as many lawyers as you can is a very good thing (if they are mostly free). I went to 5 before I chose the guy that I liked the most. Have your important questions ready and obviously read any reviews you can. Unfortunately I don't think there is a specific formula here. You gotta go with your gut, and having consultations with as many as you can will help your gut with that feeling.

Bro, I feel you. When someone you thought you loved makes fun of you grieving a death... You feel like dying yourself. Don't do it to yourself. Let's share our emptiness and pain together. We can get through it.

I thought this sub was "divorced_men". But after reading your comment I now realize it's "Divorce_Men". What a rude awakening. I was here to hear men's stories of divorcing their ex's (male or female, I get that). But am I wrong to assume if no gender is specified that it's a man posting? I'm not here either for a discussion on gender.

I just went through this. What I've been told, which makes a lot of sense, is to have 30 min - 1 hour sessions (hopefully free) with 3 or 5 or even 7 lawyers. I Iearned something new from each one before finally choosing the one that spoke to me in a way that I liked the most.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
