This is helpful advice. Especially the part about it being "your" kid not "her" kid. Your kid, your wife, your home, your family. The best parenting advice I got was "thank people for their suggestions and then go do whatever you want". Be a rock through the stress and your wife will become more yours than ever.

Social roles are not limited to gender. There are parent/child, teacher/student, owner/employee, captain/teammate, sargeant/private, etc roles. Gender does not strictly limit or define roles based on a universal, arbitrary standard, but it does inform individual characteristics to a large degree, along with things like education and experience. Roles are not to be assigned and enforced by some central authority, but by our nature. Happiness and peace are fuller when we behave in agreement with t…

A society without defined roles is like a ball game without bases. Nobody knows where they are or what to do. Without purpose people become anxious and depressed. Traditional culture is the functional culture which creates the wealth that the socialist seeks to appropriate. Progressive culture is the destruction, not of oppressive Values, but of human value itself by replacing all individual identity with strictly divided group identities.

A woman does not view her son in the same way that she considers other men. The bluepill concept of love includes men looking for a woman to mother them through their later stages in life. This desire is unattractive to women who are looking for strong leaders, but when it comes to their sons, this mothering instinct will never die. Having a beta baby to coddle throughout their life isn't an issue for a mother who would only view his potential mates as competition for attention.

If you're leading the conversation, bring it somewhere that matters to you. Drive the conversation to a relatable human level. Draw out experiences, rather than skipping over circumstances. When people share a circumstance, ask leading questions that force them to be specific about the qualities of the experience that they resonate with. What is it about that group of people that you enjoy? What's the funnest thing about the bar? What makes you uncomfortable? How do you feel when you're leaving …

The change is not limited to an "act", it is a real shift in our subjective experience of the world. Our growth is not for the exclusive benefit of ourselves, or others, it benefits everyone we choose to include in our experiences.

It looks like this is related to accountability and personal responsibility. The implication is that there is an agreement where an individual (the boss) is responsible for the outcome of any given situation within a limited environment (is in charge at work). Where this agreement is accepted, it follows that this individual is punished for failure in performing their role. The countries lower down on the list are those placing less emphasis on personal responsibility, who defer responsibility i…

Pull your shoulders inwards, slouch forward, look at the ground, take shallow breaths. Remind yourself to do this throughout the day, and by the end of the day you will likely feel worse than you would normally. Pushing your shoulders back, lifting your chest up, breathing deeply and keeping your gaze level will have you feeling better after just a few minutes. Body language is not only a symptom of your state, but can also be an influence on your inner state, and having reminders for maintainin…
