My ex did this too, but every time I brought it up I was “SeLf CoNsCiOuS” or had “lOw sElF eStEem”. Nah, he was just a porn sick dick gaslighting me into staying with him. Lesson learned.

A few days ago I had an old acquaintance slide into my dms on instagram. Used to be friendly with him when I was with my ex-boyfriend because they were in the same frat (ugh 🤢). Anyways he sends me a message basically saying “hey you popped into my mind today and I was wondering how you’re doing? It’s been forever!” Meanwhile on all his ig pictures his friends are joking about tinder and him getting a gf. As soon as a random man messages you, ladies you know what he wants 🙄 Anyways I deleted the…

Had an ex tell me he was an “alpha male”. Cringiest thing I ever heard. Spoiler alert, he wasn’t 🤣

This happened to me too 😂 tells me he’s 5’9”, when I meet him, he’s shorter than me (5’4”)!!! Literally said the same thing she did - I don’t necessarily care about height, but damn don’t lie to me about it!

What can I do in this situation ? "I don't know what I want right now" = He does not want you, and he does not want a relationship. I say this with kindness - by not choosing you, he has made a decision. He is just scared to tell you the truth. Don't get strung along by being FWB or hooking up with him, in the end you will be hurting... because, you will want to be with him even more, and he will still "not know" what he wants. Do not contact him anymore. Don't chase him. Distract yourself with …

Some gems from an ex: “You would be so hot if you just lost some weight” “I’m an alpha, my friend ____ is so beta” (cringe o m g) read through messages on his phone and found an fb group message he had with his friends. They were discussing how they were going to spike my water with ecstasy and get me high without my consent, and with no regard to how I could possibly react to it. My dumb ass stayed with him for a year after this. told me he “hated me” after I spent two days looking after him po…

YES girl, live for yourself! Do what you like! You could argue that so many things in life are dangerous and conclude not to do them - If you know what you’re doing and you enjoy it, all the power to you.

I find it cringey how both him and his girlfriend literally refer to her as “Graham’s girlfriend”, seems really dehumanizing lol. I get it came from a joke on the channel, but I would not want to be referred to like that constantly 😬

I believe it was an r/AskReddit asking something to the effect of "Women, did you ever give that "nice guy" a shot? How did it play out?" lmaaaooo

Just read any of the r/Relationship_Advice or r/AmITheAsshole posts from lately, give you a pretty good idea of what women in their 20s deal with when they date a much older man. What I always wonder is, what would an established, mature man in his 30s want with a young woman who is just getting started in life? Usually 1. He wants that “barely legal” sex, and/or 2. He wants someone naive that he can emotionally manipulate because women his age won’t put up with his shit.

I’ve just been using Duolingo for now as it’s free, I also have some books. Once things open back up in my city I am going to take some in person classes to work on speaking!

Physically write down a set of goals, financial, career, health/body to work towards in different periods of time, like six months, one year... etc. Do not just loosely make these goals however. Make a few and PLAN what steps you need to take to achieve each one. Focus on one or two at a time. For example, during quarantine I set the goal to increase my knowledge of French and begin and maintain a proper skincare routine. Anything I do outside of this is a bonus - but I researched how to properl…

Girl he obviously does not respect your boundaries at all. Putting his d*ck inside of you after you said no is RAPE. Do not try to explain this away to yourself, “oh he didn’t hear me,” “he got confused”, THERE IS NOTHING CONFUSING ABOUT THE WORD NO! Do not wait around to see if this happens again, it’s already happened one too many times. By you not leaving, it tells him that what took place was ok with you. It is NOT. Block him and don’t look back. You are more than capable of finding someone …

Girl this pain will not STOP until you leave him. Yes you may be sad after but how can you continue to let yourself have panic attacks etc! Do it for yourself! I know you can find the strength. Do not worry about his feelings, worry about yourself. You already said it yourself in this post; you WANT to leave him. Follow through.

Honestly I’ve had a friend like this before, and after a while it gets exhausting repeating the same advice over and over to deaf ears. You can lead a horse to water but can’t make it drink. Sounds like she’s associating with some very NVMs, and, if it were me I would just fade out.
