I'm glad I wasn't the only one about to offer this advice. There's always a slim chance of rebound, if two mature consenting adults agree to sit down, communicate, & exert effort.

My STBXW & I have a long history before our marriage of 5 years, but we kind of jumped into it without much dating as adults. I had a lot of repressed trauma & unaccepted AuDHD that led to me being very dysfunctional as an adult; she leans a little too hard into her AuDHD & CPTSD as reasons for her dysfunctionality. She's high-functioning, won't deny that, but a fair bit if that is rooted in trauma rather than healthy habits. All this to say she went 150% into the marriage while I stuffed myself…

Hey man, honestly good luck bouncing back. It's possible to deal with emotional-based sexual trauma, I speak from experience. I had CPTSD around sex that I repressed so much it ruined my first marriage before I started dealing with it, but now my sex drive is up & I crave a physi-emotional connection with someone. No one should be stuck in a box like that; lack of sex really is a detriment to health. Wish u the best.

Can confirm, mine is constantly talking about my wrongdoings & shortcomings to her best friend, a single mother, & I'm always at fault.

This may be a based opinion, but it's nice to friggin know that there are women out there that are just as bad at communicating/dealing with emotional shit & accountability as men can be. My STBXW is a fkn patron saint if you ask her & I'm just horrible at taking accountability, regulating & communicating. I mean, sometimes she's right on all counts but hey, I'm a man - sometimes I gotta spaz out to get a point across too, & forget to mention this or that event slipped my mind or "Dammit, it was…

Don't get me wrong, Mama is awesome. But the growth in our relationship wound up being one sided because I was so far behind in emotional maturity

Yer not wrong, but not everyone can or will stop working X hours to partake in a hobby, or invest in a person. Some people may not have the emotional availability to invest in a person. These things take bandwidth, & time, & other resources. If you're already working death-defying hours because you're so focused on your career, & you have the disposable income to pay her to do her business & leave you to yours.... Then who is there to stop you? A grown-ass man knows what he needs, & a successful…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
