Wow, this is what i was looking for. Thanks If I get 70:30, that's fair, in my opinion. I intend to leave her in good space in the end with a comfortable life. I'll look at each of your comments in detail and plan. Btw renting from parents won't work as they don't live in US. P.S: can you please point me to the other thread you're referring to? 🙏🏼

Great suggestion, I'll definitely consider this. Right now, I'm emotional about this, so I'll need to discuss this calmly at the right time Ideally, I would like to move onto a new relationship in the future for my personal happiness - I'll need to forego that if I go this route.

I'll discuss with the lawyers. I'm pretty sure, she'll not move out of CA, so I think this might not work. I'll update after I get legal advice on this. Thanks

Yes, I'll definitely get legal advice ( I've already started looking for lawyers, etc). I was looking at learning from others who might've also gotten 'stuck' in similar situations. Looks like I'll get screwed no matter what...

Thanks, much appreciated. I sold my last business, so, all of my net worth is now into stocks, hard cash, few investments, real estate, etc viz it's easily measurable

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
