Let’s agree on something here, any lawyer who encourages their client to commit a crime deserves to be disbarred, fined, and sentenced to at least 6 month in prison. And again, not the court, the law is biased

Why would the courts risk it being true and check for merit when they child’s safety could be at risk? The courts aren’t biased, the laws are. Maybe she just had/has a better lawyer. A good lawyer would do all kinds of work for his client to have the best of the outcome. You cannot win all cases, but you can get the best quality of life, even if it makes the other party uneasy. If he gets outworked, the other party “loses” even if there is no fight to lose

One possible reason is the 3% of divorced men statistic is outdated. Unlikely, but possible. Another, much more likely reason could be that most men find it emasculating to receive spousal support, so they don’t do it.

I don’t think it’s that high a percentage but, I’d say maybe 92-95% is more reasonable. In 30% of dual income marriages, the woman is the breadwinner. If we assume that there is about a 50% chance of divorce that means that we have 15% of the women will pay alimony, but, that number gets smaller when we consider that 60% of marriages are dual income, and it becomes 6% of women. And then we have to subtract the marriages where women are the sole worker, which is probably only about 1% at most. Th…

Who pays alimony is based on which party makes more. Who pays or receives child support is determined by custody. And I’ll admit you are correct about custodial guardianship, but it’s been increasing over the years. And once more, that number is low because of many other factors than the court system.

It could be the result of a multitude of reasons. Fathers dying, domestic abuse, rape. Single person adoption, childbirth by a single person(ie, no father on birth certificate), abandonment. I find it unfair to twist an (very valid might I add) argument to apply to 100% of people. It’s very rare that an actual judge will be biased. The fallacy that men are treated unfairly in family court system, is dangerous. We all need to know that they courts want what is best for the children, and custody i…

It’s not getting hijacked, 85% of kids living with a single parent are with their mother. Granted there are only about 23% of kids(US Stat not world) who grow up with one parent. But if my math is correct, about 19.5% of children grow up with just a mother. Also, I’ve seen videos very similar to this, with the mother being the father, on Mother’s Day.

When I say “far traditional” I mean a person who believes so strongly in their traditional learning that they aren’t ready or willing to take criticism for it or grow with the time
/r/MensRights18/06/21 12:18 AM
5

I agree, but I truly believe there are enough people who believe in the “far traditional” ideology and will say we want fair outcomes and opportunities.

You also believe that what the Soviets did was not a mistake. Ironically enough the soviets had laws in place that rendered females equal to males. All that to say, GTFO, we hate you as well

Fun fact about the selective service, if you are a biological female who identifies as male, you must sign up, but if you are a biological male who identifies as female you don’t.

I don’t know what 20% of these words mean, and that may be why people discredit the Feminist movement
/r/MensRights02/06/21 05:17 PM

Actually, I think the feminists that call us cisgender white male scum are the vocal minority. But, even the supposed majority who do not silence them are not helping the problem. Regardless, they are not openly and 100% working toward equality like they say they are. They want the benefits of equality unless it puts them at a disadvantage to what they currently have. A good example is the judicial system.

There may no be medical necessity however, it has been shown that circumcision reduces the chances of a uti, treats phimosis, protects against penile cancer and lowers risk of cervical cancer in female sex partners, reduced risk of some STD’s. Plus, botching a circumcision only occurs in roughly 1% (if even that) of the circumcisions done.

Fair wnough. I was just speaking of like in movies and such. We know that the actor didn’t really get kicked in the balls, and we are more psychologically distant from it. This question that op posed for us leads into a really interesting discussion about Schadenfreude. Also we care a lot less for men than we do women so that may also be a driving factor

This isn’t an issue of men’s rights. That’s all I have to say. You apparently don’t understand it
/r/MensRights20/04/21 10:07 PM
1

I’m just saying this isn’t an issue of men’s rights. This is an issue of, for lack of a better word, modernity or the addiction to it. It would be an issue of men’s rights of they ignored you then a women came up and the person responded. So again I agree with the sentiment, but do not feel this is a men’s rights issue
/r/MensRights20/04/21 09:52 PM

They don’t care because they’re too busy on their phone. Same thing applies to women, does that make it a feminist issue.
/r/MensRights20/04/21 09:46 PM

I’m not entirely sure this is an issue that pertains to men’s rights. I agree, but just saying

/r/MensRights13/04/21 12:39 AM

I don’t think feminism is about equal rights. So much as the “we are entitled to repress men” mentality. Think about it, if feminism is about equality for women we would see these rapists and CP collectors all get at least something close to equal. That’s just my take. It was never about equal Rights after they gained women their sufferage.

I’m doing a “social experiment” where I go to their Instagram and ask if I can get the early registration and discount as a Cis-male white. So far, no response. Edit: 5 hours later no response Edit 2: roughly 1 day later and still no response

OP said it was his boss. Also, it could be asked in case they want to relocate him. Obviously you wouldn’t want to be too far from your pregnant girlfriend/wife, especially after she gives birth
/r/MensRights09/04/21 02:29 PM
9

Wrote it down yourself and ask your boss to ask you that in writing. Also, if this is a first time and nothing happens of it, ie no discrimination then don’t worry, but note everything just in case
/r/MensRights08/04/21 03:07 PM
26

Technically they are allowed, but they tend not to because of risk of a discrimination lawsuit. The only reason they might ask that would be so that they can keep you as close to the family as possible and not move you away. I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice. Please take what I have just said with a grain of salt.

/r/MensRights30/03/21 09:02 PM

This was worded funny, and I thought it was implying that we should oppress men, lol.
/r/MensRights30/03/21 08:55 PM

Can I add onto this. Because I’ve noticed something. If you pay enough attention. (This goes for all “gangs” and societies) what happened is the Police and the criminals have mutual respect. It tends to be more respect if they are part of a group like the Mafia or Hell’s Angels. Then again they do the bad crimes, not the BAD crimes. Yes there’s a difference
/r/MensRights27/03/21 11:15 PM

Some men do make rape jokes. They probably just say that for the same reason we are told not to make (too) racist or suicide jokes. It really is a messed up. But what I don’t think they understand is that maybe that type of humor is how some people cope with trauma. In three words, No clue why

A few years back North Korea reported 99% literacy to the UN, not that it’s related. The Putin thing can be simplified down to they only took so many peoples opinion and he probably used intimidation. This too, they intentionally(or not) skewed the numbers so that it looks bad, but realistically the amount of women who will be sexually assaulted is much closer to 30-35%. Roughly 20% of the women in total are raped.
/r/MensRights18/03/21 08:53 PM

They aren’t choosing to be a victim. They are risking victimization.

Feminism isn’t about equality, it’s about entitlement under the ruse of equality. If it were about equality, they’d be fighting to keep female rapists in jail, to help single dads not degrade them. They don’t care about men
/r/MensRights18/03/21 01:42 PM
4

If we did that, #NotAllWomen will me trending whenever there is a Men’s Rights rally or something like that
/r/MensRights18/03/21 01:33 PM

This one specifically is about sexual assault. Which has been debunked
/r/MensRights18/03/21 04:39 AM

Important note: comments are limited or I would correct it. In most countries the % of women who get raped is between 18% and 24%. On average in each country, the rate is 35%, and the highest I could find is South Africa with 40% of women being raped at one point on their life.
/r/MensRights18/03/21 02:38 AM

Actually, this is something I was going to include in my paper. I’m writing an argument paper about why feminism should focus on Men’s rights as well.

To add to your statement about equal custody laws, if a woman knowingly puts a mans name who is not the father, this should be at least a misdemeanor, as of current, it is non-punishable. You can sue to get the money that you paid for(ie child support) but you may not win
/r/MensRights17/03/21 03:06 PM

I have one. this Instagram account if you look at some of the comments, whenever a man brings up legitimate comments, there are some women who always say something along the lines of, “this isn’t about men,” “don’t make it about you,” or “your small egos/fragile masculinity”
/r/MensRights17/03/21 03:01 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
