Psychology experiments show contrary evidence to what you are suggesting. Not saying confidence isn't a defining factor but the ugly truth is that looks do matter and to a large extent. Studies have shown that it is in fact the largest factor in how attractive one is (initially) rated. So even as debilitating as this truth is, can we please move away from this pattern of wishful thinking. Yes looks matter, doesn't mean it should be used as an excuse to not better oneself and increase ones attrac…

This is why the game is constantly evolving. Society changes and the rules along with it. Change is also picking up cumulative speed is time goes by. Interesting times indeed.

just my thoughts but maybe acknowledging you friends concern by questioning her if you were being too pushy could have been the way to go. It shows that you respect your friends opinions even if you don't and that you also value her input and that you are secure enough in your self to take some criticism. If you were doing it right and she was feelin it she would have put your friend's criticism in its place and it would also have been an obvious indicator of interest. Having someone rag on you …

Fat is an excellent source of slow burning energy. You don't need a lot if it but it will sustain your energy like nothing else. Sugar and simple carbs will boost you up but also just crash you after the initial spike. Fiber is just filler, there is no energy in it but it helps with digestion. The fat is where it's at.

I think women should get their own seddit. Just like I don't take pick-up advice from women, I don't think girls should give seduction advice from men much credence. Sure both genders are human and share a lot of qualities, but both nurture and nature have given us vast differences. The two sexes behave differently when it comes to seduction and the advice you will get from the opposite sex will ether; a) be based on what an individual belonging to that gender should do or b) be based on how tha…

Here is my advise to you: Don't take seduction advice from men. We are just as guilty at giving bad advice to the opposite sex as women are. The two sexes behave differently when it comes to seduction and the advice you will get from the opposite sex will ether; a) be based on what an individual belonging to that gender should do or b) be based on how that person thinks he/she would want to be seduced. The problem with b is that most of us don't overly analyze what turns us on and might even att…

That is why all these replies have to be said in a lighthearted manner. Otherwise the "unreactiveness" isn't there and it gets perceived as defensiveness. EDIT: Also I find judgmental people boring so that makes us even.

I think you social circle might need to lighten up if people are getting "laughed out" for making jokes instead of injecting an awkward silence. Not saying you method is inferior. Some of us are just more lighthearted don't go for that tactic.
