I am educated, I make more than your average person in my age range each year, I go to the gym 5 days a week so I'm a little above average, I have a motorcycle, and then personality traits (funny, good heart, family above everything, etc). Yet I'm of average attractiveness and its not like I ever have women flocking to me. The only time when I get female attention is when I'm on my bike, and that is probably because my motorcycle looks cool as hell and they can't see me because I have a mirror v…

Extremely attractive, extremely loyal, a little above average in terms of pleaser, can bear children, definitely honors me, and I think she sees us as leaders at different tasks so it makes us sort of 50/50.

I completely agree 100%. Part of me is hoping this goes away because if I could just forget about her past, she would be wife material, and we would have probably been engaged by now. If it goes away or resolves itself, then this could be the one. The other part of me is frustrated about how I feel, and frustrated about other parts of the relationship that is unrelated to her past. I want to leave, but I play the pity party game. I'm not really worth much, my self esteem is way too low, and I'll…

I can see that pattern of behavior developing between us, except we are both walking on egg shells. She is afraid to bring up subjects because my mind goes somewhere dark, I'm afraid to respond in certain ways because I don't want her thinking that my mind went somewhere dark. She is at peace with her past because she accepted that they were mistakes. When she used to bring it up, she would say how she was stupid, she was an idiot, she made so many mistakes, imagine if she never did any of that …

That is how I always am in relationships. About half a year in, I put in 95%, then I discovered her past and I pulled back to 50%. I started working through it (because its me who has a problem after all, or so they say) and its getting better, I went back to 90%. But lately our relationships has been on a slight decline, and I'd say I'm like 60% in it. The thought of leaving crosses my mind, but for reasons totally unrelated to her past.

See, I don't ask either. But she kind of led me into asking. Its very strange, I can't put it into words. But when we got mildly serious, all she wanted to talk about is the past. She would ask more questions than anything, but she would ask me about how I was in the past, my past girlfriends, how my relationships were, etc. Naturally, I had to ask "what about you" to many of them. I didn't find out the partner count until 9 months into the relationship, and that is when things slowly started ch…

No she totally stopped, willingly moved away and never came back.

I promise I'm not trying to argue with you, but the field we are in, its literally impossible to get a job that pays over 30k with a bachelors. That, and her bad years were from freshman to early junior year. She made a 4.0 GPA in three years of graduate school and stopped all promiscuous behavior after she stopped in her junior year. So pretty much its her former self, that was about 7 years ago.

At work. The kind of job where you have to dress up in business casual attire. A job that requires a masters degree.
