Well then I guess there is no acceptable answer than exactly 50/50. Except that doesn’t seem to work so great, either. I didn’t even take into account homosexuality and bisexuality.

45% dudes. I am not sure what the minimum a highly functioning modern society needs, but unless women are going to start doing the really dangerous and physical jobs, we need a lot of men. At 55% women, there is a decent enough chance for each man to find a mate, even though hypergamy will always be a thing in any distribution. Anything more than that divide and women will vote destructively (like any permanent majority), creating intractable conflict. I feel like a 10% difference doesn’t automa…

Marry a good woman and you will have a good life, no matter how you two agree to organize your household going forward. Equally yoked, sacrificial love can prosper even when times are tight. My wife worked for a bit and then was a SAHM for our three sons. They benefited greatly from it. She enjoyed it and made the most of it. I got great pleasure in being the provider. We divided our burdens appropriately, not based on some fake modern expectations of others or “society.” Marry a good woman. Tha…

Anecdote (not the same as data): I went on a weekend bachelor party that visited several strip clubs around a major US city. On the Saturday evening late, it was decided that we would go to an Asian massage parlor (clearly prostitution given its location and that it was open so late). Half the group went inside and came out an hour later. Half remained in the van and tried to make awkward small talk. Years later, every single dude that went in is divorced. Every single dude that stayed in the va…

He also said f@ck. That doc will give it to his waitress if the situation works out right. He won’t seek her out for marriage, but heck, if she’s special stranger things have happened.

We are programmed to pass on our genes. We have overcome endless obstacles to survive as a species. I think maybe TikTok is no worse than sabretooth tigers. Best of luck to you all.

All I can say bro is I hope you find peace in life. I have never known the penis size of any of my adult friends or co-workers and cannot imagine a scenario where it would ever come up. Women who cheat are low-character folks and dick size is not some magic wand (pun intended) that will prevent them from doing that. As for most other things in life, find yourself a good woman and treat her like a queen and that will get you 90% of the way to a happy, fulfilled life. If you are doing it right, yo…

This is often said, but it invalidates the reality that many people live by their values and aren’t “on the hunt” all the time. The more likely takeaway here is that this guy was a “celebrity” and aggressive self-promoter and those types of people are usually narcissists — precisely the kind of partner that will cheat on you eventually.

Any sweeping statement is almost certainly false, like this one. I turn 50 in a few months, I’m in my 25th year of marriage, my wife bore and co-raised three wonderful sons, and we are still happy together. We both know we would never cheat on each other or risk the specialness we have from our shared experiences starting from dirt poor to pretty successful. Every year, I take some money that could go to me retiring earlier and spend it on extravagances for her (jewelry, fancy purses, girl trips…

I visited my twin sons at a major state university in the South during the spring semester and went with one of them to see his girlfriend get baptized at the local college church. There had to be 2,000 people in there and it seemed like 70% or so of them were women. That’s probably still not the best way to meet women on that campus, but Lord, you don’t have to try that hard if you have any game.

To the extent that married women are unhappy, I suspect much of it is that many households are dual income — ie, she has to work and be a parent. This is very challenging and draining, and gets compared to having a job but not having kids (greener grass over the fence — which we know isn’t really always true, just a yearning). Tradcon households where the mother can stay at home and gets more of the benefits of raising children with less of the stress, they tend to be happier. The trick is to no…

Character matters in a mate. If you want a hot girl, get a Blake Lively, not a Scarlett Johannson.

I get what you are driving at, and it is an important point. I’ll just say I have been married for 23+ years and my wife and I are alike in some key ways but very different and complementary in most other ways. Bringing something different to the relationship makes us both stronger as individuals and as a couple.

My wife and I have talked about this before many times (even core agreed-upon principles require occasional reaffirmation). Both of us would be absolutely devastated if the other cheated. We each have the utmost confidence in fidelity with each other and value that as a core fruit of our marriage. Which is why it would be so devastating. I personally could not separate my vows, my commitments, and my principles from my life choices. Because I would also devastate my view of myself if I betrayed …

Have been married happily (you know, mostly) for 23+ years. I lurk out of curiosity in this sub, WAATGM, and Female Dating Strategy. I find the debate and respective tactics & ideology fascinating. It has no personal application to my life, though, as I do not have a SMV (well, other than what accountants would call a Level 3 valuation, ie completely based on an internal model and immune to market forces). I try not to judge what people say about themselves and the other sex, but obviously a lot…

France knows that its people cheat like mad, and DNA tests would cause all sorts of disruptions. Rather than change as a people, they’ve encoded it into law.
