It’s an individual families responsibility to work out the division of labor around the house. Calling it unpaid labor is nonsense, parents have a responsibility to their kids and you need to keep a clean house.

The draft has only ever been used in conflicts that could be considered existential threats for the United States.

There really aren’t many if any examples of egalitarian societies historically.

It’s not even technically true. Wilson’s wife was defacto president for years.

This and better perceptions of upward mobility through education are key.

Feminism can run into some issues with individualism, particularly when it comes to cost benefit analysis of choices that can have more abstract benefits.

Historically they don’t end well for the common person, but are a vehicle for upper class people to put themselves into power.

Just talking about it shouldn’t trigger any laws though right? Unless the UK isn’t like America when it comes to natural rights.

There’s an philosophical conflict between the standard feminist framework and the trans community. It makes more sense that there is discrimination towards trans individuals primarily from woman.

A lot of people seem to see those of us with Asperger’s as bougie white men, rather than a group who has historically faced discrimination. They love “punching up”

Could just be due to repopulation concerns getting baked into cultural habits.

The problem is by which metric do you determine a legitimate trans person from a potential pervert, especially with the redefinition of transgenderism to not be based out of gender dysphoria. While I certainly don’t thing the overwhelming majority of us men or trans people are predators there already have been cases of such in the UK.

A market economy really has nothing to do with it. We’re just over-coarse correcting for past grievances.

It’s important he gets a sentence appropriate to what he actually did, given the evidence provided it’s obvious he won’t be charged with murder 2 or 3.

Clerk literally testified that Floyd couldn’t speak when confronted in his car, gf testified the man Floyd was with was their dealer, gf testified he suffered same symptoms he showed during his arrest from previous od, toxicology report shows fatal amount of fentanyl. There’s more than enough to cast doubt that chauvin killed him.

To my knowledge, communal child care has not been shown to be successful. Kibbutz’s in Israel had attempted it only to find mothers were too deeply pained from the separation of their child.

MSN and Yahoo news are biased? I watched the full video, I’ve also watched the video of the clerk testifying in court that he couldn’t speak. He was clearly tweaking.

Not true. Intent matters a lot. There is a very high chance he did not die due to the restraint itself.

Witnesses have literally testified he could barely speak from intoxication, as well as toxicology reports showing a near fatal amount of fentanyl.

The issue is terms like liberal and conservative have been completely decoupled from their actual philosophical roots here in the us.

We are supposed to have this perspective because we learn about western history the most and have some of the best records of what we did.

They’re seen as right wing because of the us’s stupid single axis political perspective. Mussolini had been a socialist in his youth and reframed socialism as a basis for fascism.
