If the Taliban passed a law banning circumcision, would I have to oppose it just because it's the Taliban's policy? Use your brain. No person or group has exclusively bad or exclusively good ideas, and an idea shouldn't be attacked just because X person you don't like happened to come up with it.

I read the replies, paid attention, (okay actually I didn't since I've been banned from twitter 20 times and finally stopped making accounts, but I imagined what they were), and reaffirmed my belief that women shouldn't be allowed to vote or hold elected office above the county level.

The difference is that in the south in the early 1900s (and really every place at any time where there were black people) black people caused trouble/crime. In WW2 Germany, the Jews were directly responsible for the communist revolution Hitler was trying to stop. So those two curfews, while I'm not sure I agree with them, would have been much easier to justify than a curfew on men today.

Yea that's why he put so many of them back to work that their unemployment is at a record low. They are fucking pissed that they can't just sit home, beat up their girlfriends, smoke crack, and collect welfare anymore.

I think you've lost perspective on what's at stake. Do you really care if 35 years ago this guy put crude jokes about women in his yearbook, got fresh with one at a drunken party, and flashed another in college? I mean if you supported Donald Trump, the rudest crudest man ever in modern politics, you probly don't care very much even if the allegations are completely true. Let's just be honest and admit no one is gonna Cosby a disgusting beast of a woman. (Not to imply that I feel Cosby did anything wrong - it's just a common phrase now). A war pig would only get raped in very unusual circumstances like if she's his wife or it's a specific revenge plot.

I love "bag-spreading." I always look for these women when I join a public transport, and even if there are many open seats, I like to go over to her, smile and say "Excuse me," move her bag out of the way and sit down. Can tell it really gets them steamed. I haven't been berated or assaulted by one yet, sadly.

But the spending gap is an actual real problem based in fact. The wage gap is an imaginary problem, invented by feminists to get preferential treatment for women. So there can't really be a middle ground, when one side is just making shit up. I get that you don't like my solutions. It's cool to disagree. Different men have different views and ways of going about things, but I haven't heard any solutions from the people who downvoted me. Just insults.

I don't hate women. I'm really surprised by the reaction here. My first time in this sub, and I just didn't imagine that discussing the spending gap and not letting your wife/gf run you into financial ruin would be viewed negatively in a place that says it's about men's rights.

Nothing toxic about properly tending to the needs of your wife. Of course there are exceptions, but most women are like children, shouldn't have unfettered access to the money, and will ultimately be happier when you're managing things.

What does seem important to address is the gender spending gap. Women are responsible for 85% of consumer spending... ​ Men, if you don't already have your wife on an allowance, go over her spending habits. You'll be shocked to find out how much money she's pissing away on total nonsense while telling you you can't afford that new big screen.
