I also suggest taking everything on this sub with a grain of salt. Pick and choose what advice works for you and ignore the users that think they wrote the book on TRP. There is no wrong or right way, you have many reality maps that will get you to the place that you want to be. Some will get you there in a timely manner, but you'll miss the scenery, and on the other side of that same coin - don't wander too far off and get lost in the scenery.

I suggest doing what you want, live your life, make mistakes and learn from them. Love hard, get your heart broken. It will make you into a both a stronger individual, and better lover down the road. Just don't dissociate from yourself and fuse your identity with whoever you fall in love with. Always be yourself.

Thanks for all the information so we can give an informative response to your post. Look at all these people telling you what you should do when they don't even know your circumstance.... but then again, except for a select few redditors, logic and reason have usually fallen outside MGTOW's wheelhouse... don't ever change r/MGTOW : D

That's like your opinion man. For every 100 people that do behave the way you're describing, there's 1 that does just the opposite (i happen to believe the number is much higher, but just for the sake of the argument I will err on the side of caution and use a low number). Some people might disagree but i think it's worth it to open yourself up and behave in such a way that allows you to find someone like that. I've been cheated on, I've lost my job, struggled with substance abuse, but at the en…

I'm sorry you have no friends/family or a wife/girlfriend that cares about you. All you RPers must have some serious fears of abandonment for you not to let anyone in. Life isn't a series of events full of people looking to work you over. Sure you can cultivate your own happiness but for me, experiencing things together, as a family, or as a couple - That's what true happiness is. I used to think i was the only one in the world who cared about my own happiness, and accordingly lived a life of de…

I agree. I've learned a lot from the content here, it's a bit extreme, but I take it with a grain of salt. What a miserable existence it would be for me to live the way MGTOWers advocate. I can see how it might work for some people though.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
