Oh no where do I buy it?

This is obvious. No one wants to date a person who they think will cause harm to them. Some foolish people might compromise if the person is physically attractive and competent but of course it’s not ideal.

Because they aren’t wannabe players, they are the real deal. They probably are good looking.

Well I obviously don’t do it for money. What your saying makes no sense.

It does. It’s just that without physical and mental attraction it’s irrelevant.

I’m not selling a course on how to attract people so no

We would have radically different social structures in place. Marriage probably wouldn’t exist and children would be raised by their maternal extended family.

Yea and I don’t agree with them. I think their a bunch of phony grifters take advantage of desperate morons. Just like all the “soft girl” intluencers and whatnot.

Has something to do with switching from an agricultural economy which by necessity demanded specialized gender roles in order to function to an industrial one. Our society simply does not function on the same principles when “traditional” gender roles were relevant. Culture needs to adapt to the changing situation.

I’m quoting the rationale. Thinking men exist to serve women or vice versa is using gender roles to justify a sociopathic mindset.

This is a classic example of sociopathic thinking. A common trait of someone on the antisocial personality spectrum is using gender roles to justify unfair treatment. “Women exist to serve men or men exist to serve women.” The moment someone starts this bs just don’t even engage with them.

If that was the case, then there wouldn’t be any of this gender war bs. And yea I agree, part of the issue is there is a very vocal minority pushing their views to take advantage of peoples insecurity.

There is no problem with that. People break up and relationships do not work out and that’s fine. What I mean is that people should make a good faith effort to at least try and keep their relationships exclusive and long term.

In practice it isn’t the standard. A lot of people even argue that it shouldn’t be: particularly the redpill community and even a lot of “feminists”. The worst part is that these groups have a lot of influence on general culture now through social media.

It’s about compromising. Letting everyone have a chance at getting enough of what they want is overall a lot better than letting a few people get exactly what they want. Polygamous societies tend to be violent and unstable which is mostly undesirable. What I mean by respect is politeness, no implicit expectations, basic empathy and strong personal boundaries.

Sometimes the most obvious take is the correct one. Pizza when made too weird is disgusting to most people.

And mostly for good reason. Unrestrained sexuality is antithetical to organized society. Perhaps if we weren’t prone to jealousy and resentment and were a lot less picky and touchy about who we had sex with it might work but these are fundamental human instincts. In practice, it would just be a disaster. Of course this doesn’t justify cruel and brutal oppression.

Being shunned from relationships is a good enough enforcement for most people. If women started rejecting men for promiscuity it would be a good start.

be realistic here. Only a very small percentage of deviants actually enjoy that sort of thing. Let’s not pretend like this would work for the majority of people. One problem these days is people can’t differentiate intrusive thoughts from genuine desires. People might have occasional bizzare fantasies that interest them but have no desire of actually engaging with the real consequences that acting them out would entail.

You don’t “enforce” it. If it becomes a common enough belief then people simply avoid having relationships with people who disagree. The trick is to convince enough people that not being promiscuous is in their benefit. Which I think will happen over time.

I wish it was. It’s unfortunately true. Dating app statistics are clear on this.

Part of the reason why people don’t want to marry is the laws and cultural expectations are so bad that they feel like marriage will just hurt them, for both men and women. We need to change marriage contracts and the culture around it so that it becomes more appealing. What I mean is that people should not have implicit expectations of what other people owe them on the basis of gender other than basic respect.

It tends to bring out the worst of human nature. A small percentage of men monopolize the attention of the majority of women. The men that get pushed out of the dating market become extremely resentful, the ones that do succeed either just don’t value their partners or become predatory and sociopathic in attempt to increase their chances. Women then in turn become extremely distrustful and antagonistic towards men. I don’t have a personal gripe with it, I just think all the evidence seems to poi…

promiscuity as a taboo for both men and women. splitting the bill on dates as the norm and not expecting men to be “providers.” not expecting women to be domestic servants or “submissive”. child rearing as a group effort that involves the extended family instead of putting all the pressure on a single couple. no demeaning, pushy or aggressive behavior towards women (eg. Catcalling) and no nasty and disrespectful behavior towards men (slapping, insulting etc..). This sounds obvious but apparently…
