Had 23 years of marriage under my belt & was given the boot. Take some time out & self evaluate . It's been almost a year & I still can't move on to dating, etc . Stay strong. Time is the best healer . I can't even distance myself as we have 4 kids together. In my case, she filed for the divorce.

For me, it's really bad . She found religion, a new group of religious friends used it to discredit me in front of my family and friends . So yeah ! Just to be clear, I am out of the 📦 thinker I.e not leaning to any religion.Hope that helps .

As I go through this ,I find your story, mine & all of the people commenting the same. I think the last version of the wife update was corrupted . We are actually living in a simulation .How can we all have a similar experience? But sadly ,there is no cure, but just to accept & go through the divorce for our own sanity .

I think marriage is overrated. You can easily cohabit & that should be the end of it .but that's just me .

Me & my x had great chemistry & s *x life but that was still not enough.we separated after 22 years . I personally think either way it doesn't matter .if someone doesn't want 2 be with you, they will find any reason. Apparently, with me, she realised I wasn't into God anymore & she left. Hope that helps .

Better be alone then in bad company ! My conclusion @ 48 ! I would rather use services than be tied down with somebody who destroys my peace ✌️

One more thing (speaking from my own experience) The timings of her announcement to u is also very important because somebody from your family will face/body/ emotions read your uneasiness & ask , what's wrong .as a result, u would be the one spilling the beans.i am in exactly the same situation with 4 kids . It's sad 😔

Unfortunately, nothing can replace an absent father .No matter what the reasons. Sorry, bud for being harsh. Daughters really badly need father's love, or she will be chasing this from ..... I am in the same boat & can't decide to walk away or beg to stay .

It's like a terminal illness ,it's creeping on you slow & steady. You know it & the illness knows it too, but we have a hard time admitting it . Move on, bud ... stop looking behind .....

It's so , so sad. I have posted almost a similar question. It's very hard being a man walking out on you kids . For me, it's 21 years of marriage and 4 kids . It's a hard choice to make, and only you can do it . Nobody is a winner ... kids lose the most

21 years of. Marriage is coming to an end, but there is no desire to be in any relationship .

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
