Cultural left = the establishment. It is the same cycle since the 60's, the left has taken control of the western institutions and increasingly people became more and more sensitive and it's at the point right now where everybody is walking on eggshells or self-censoring their views because of social pressure. It's a backlash against the institutions and policies top-down forcing its view of acceptance and tolerance on every person and culture.

The way I see it, the involuntarily celibate is as entitled to sexual, physical, romantic companionship (I package all three for the sake of this discussion) as people are "entitled" to a job that pays fairer standards of living.

I had my first GF at 25 so at least I thought since that happened I'll have a better chance. I didn't lose my V card with her though, and still haven't at 33. Even though I rarely actively put myself in a situation to ask a woman out or set a date up in person in the first place. I just wish I can scream. This sub itself is a terrible sad reminder of how unjust this world is. At least in places like China, both men and women are equally oppressed.

I don't know to what extent there are women that fake it. I know a woman with mild autism and her BF with mild autism too, the latter was also my friend for longer. She even intentionally seeked out a relationship with another autistic person at some point.
