I honestly think it’d probably be somewhat similar to how people talk about Margaret Thatcher’s death today. The amount of people this has screwed over and affected is on such a scale and severity that I don’t see the majority of people caring about gender. The CEO is also seen by many as a representation and figurehead of an industry built and maintained almost exclusively on suffering and lobbying. It is a sort of dehumanization that this hypothetical female CEO could not avoid due to just how…

The discussion of trans people on this sub is so weird. Comments willing to ward off potential allies because someone’s existence not being compatible with their worldview are getting more upvotes than the post asking for discussion. Surely we can have some sympathy for others when we’re asking for sympathy from others? Would you all be fine with someone using pseudoscientific gender essentialism to dismiss our issues as nonexistent and simply the consequences of being men? Of course xx and xy c…

I’m not gay so I’m not familiar with the community, but I have never seen a gay person complain about being called homo. If I have been saying a slur by saying “no homo” then I’ll stop and only refer to cisgender males as cisgender instead of cis.

Like the Latin prefix meaning “on this side?” I personally don’t care because it’s a scientific term. I’m not telling you what to be offended by tho, that’s just me.

“All” are you hearing yourself right now? Like seriously I thought one of the biggest issues here was that men were being generalized for the actions of a few of them. It just seems a little discrediting for what I thought we stood for. More importantly to me, it fucks with my ideals of treating every individual by their character above all else. Maybe you don’t like the women at your workplace or social media, but they are NOT “all” women.

I’m not saying patriarchy was never a thing or that there is no historical applicability to patriarchy, but that patriarchy theory in what I would consider its newest iteration crumbles to the slightest scrutiny when applied to modern western countries. Hence the “like an oligarchy” comment. Modern patriarchy theory pivots women against man in a class struggle manufactured to ignore the real root of inequality within society.

(USA) Less people on the left want me dead than on the right. Right wing economic policies have proven to not be very effective. Conservative candidates say they are pro gun but still implement many gun control laws. Wide reaching things like climate change and its consequences get ignored in favor of complaining about trans people. The conservative media also seemed pretty upset about actually using the defense budget by supporting Ukraine against Russia. Like the the #1 or #2 enemy of the US. …

Yeah I would wear that one ironically, as it’s not really an often used phrase and mirrors the whole girlboss trope (sidenote: I’m a short guy and rather than try to make up for that in other ways, I think it would be better to to focus on making myself more attractive to the niche of women who actually prefer shorter guys. This shirt might spark some more interest in them without being degrading.) The I sorta like gingers is pretty funny too and can be worn by a man without the context changing…

/r/MensRights24/06/23 06:36 AM

Yeah but I don’t think they were the ones the make these decisions. The old white guys he fired were fired because he said it was unsafe. If any of these people would have voiced an issue they would have kept being replaced. I mean, for years the CEO was warned that the material the submarine was made of was unsafe. The line was to garner brownie points and have a nicer way of saying “These newbies in the field will do it for cheaper and do what I say no matter what”

Eh, it really depends on the individual. In western civilization, traditional gender roles for women are now mostly optional. The same cannot be said of traditional gender roles for men. I think someone’s upbringing and qualifications triumph any supposed difference in level of aggression between genders. If someone’s going to war, it’s for a reason.
