They threatened that insurance would not pay for our stay if we chose to leave against the doctors recommendation. This is standard procedure for leaving against doctor's recommendation. Also, hypertension in pregnant women is a serious cause of concern. I can't speak for the doctor, but a baby born with the head not facing the cervix still has the potential to be born without a C-section, so the doctor may have been trying to avoid a C-section until some complications must have arisen.	/r/MensRights	03/07/17 02:20 AM

Depending on what they diagnosed the person, there could be a "chemical imbalance" in laymen's terms that one would require medication to alleviate. I can't say what these "debunked or obsolete ideas" could be because that is weird and not systemic in medicine. Some obsolete ideas are worth knowing, such as percussions of the thorax.
