This is beautifully said. If you want a place to begin watch this ted talk. Its about work and happiness but it is the same principle. http://www.ted.com/talks/shawn_achor_the_happy_secret_to_better_work?language=en My example of how I do it: When I go out the bars the goal is to have fun, hit on girls and hopefully bring one home. If I don't, well I still had fun. I get to go home, sleep and just relax. I never lose with this mindset. It boils down to how I wish to interpret my situation. It do…

I refer to Shit-tests as bids. A bid to see how you'll react in a particular situation. Example: When I'm just kicking it with my buddies and suddenly my girl states she's thirsty i have a couple options. a) Tell her im thirsty also and she should bring me water. b) Tell her that I just filled the Brita and its in the fridge. c) get up and get her water She is making a bid to see how I will react. She does't want C cause ill look like a beta to everyone. She doesn't want A because now she looks …

Hey bro, I just had a pretty awesome weekend. I do feel like I am coming down off of it right now. Your post reminded me to keep perspective. Highs and lows come and go. Thank you.

Here's a tip next time a women asks for feelz. Spilling your feelz can be dangerous to a women but its possible. I got the "You never tell me how you feel" shit test and this is how I survived it. I ignored it for a while but she kept bringing it up. I told her, "I do have stuff on my mind such as work travel, assignments, and obligations." Then I paused and looked her dead in the eyes and said, "but its nothing I can't handle." She has never asked me my about feelz or anything again. I think sh…

Interesting read. Here are some ted talks that could help others reach a more mindful and satisfied state. I watch these every couple weeks to remind myself of the benefits of mindfulness and positive thinking. 1 Shawn Anchor. The happy secret to better work. 2 Andy Puddicombe. All it takes is 10 mindful minutes. 3 Amy Cuddy. Your body language shapes who you are. They are free online and also on netflix. Hopefully these help people achieve a happier, healthier life when things get tough.

This is very true. I was watching Vine compilation videos with my bros the other night and this happened. So, the first ten videos on a vine compilation are always girls twerking and then the rest are just the most popular vines of the week. So we're watching and then clicking randomly on the suggested videos we ended up just watching twerk compilations for a while. Then out of no where my bro walks into the house with 5 female friends. (They were acquaintances except for one which I did not kno…

I'm going to go straight Freudian and say she reminds me of my mom. She is nurturing and cares for me as if I was a child. She brings me snacks when I'm in the library and just sits there with me in mutual silence. She is also constatly telling me how much she loves me. She constatly draws pictures of us. She doesn't play games, basically says exactly what she means. We don't fight or argue at all, if there is something we don't like we talk about it. I like to face the wall when I sleep and she…

I honestly think my SMV is really high since I got a copy of the Mystery method when I was a freshman. I am in the army reserve, big person in my frat, doing a master's, and I learned how to be charismatic and internalized it early on. I wont try my luck again however because i do feel like I GOT LUCKY.

I am one of the top guys in my fraternity and have a bunch of other stuff going for me so I think my SMV is high and they recognized that. I think that's why I got away with it in a blue pill way. I just haven't seen anything posted here on how to handle such situation so I thought I'd see what others had to say.

Social is a big part of my game. Instgram and facebook show my SMV without really saying a word. They see my follower to follow ratio which means a whole lot to girls. They also see my frat, masters, gym, army pictures and they like it. So it helps a lot with game.

Thank you for the advice that sounds pretty solid. Yeah it was pre-selection which saved me. I did look guilty, I am going to apply your advice. I learned something.

That has worked in the past with other girls but this one wont have any without being "exclusive." She is too bomb to pass up :/

I probably could have handled it better but I didn't know what else to do. In the end the outcome was what I wanted.

Awesome man, I agree. I always say, if its not messing with me or my money I don't care. "What other people think about me is none of my business." ♂

I have an instagram and I think its helped me get laid in college a whole lot. I have 560 followers and follow 409. I just post pictures of things I like. Its probably the easiest way to demonstrate SMV. My pictures include the military, my fraternity, class schedule (im in a Masters program) I noticed that if I had seen the girl in real life before and added her she would see my SMV instantly without needing to demonstrate it. I would like 3 pictures and most likely she would like a few of mine…

How I transformed my beta friend(Names changed). I am getting a masters in counseling so I know how to change people so this is how I did it. One day while we were hanging out I did the following. The conversation went like this, " So john, you're getting a Masters in Astrophysics, your in shape, motivated, and you have a sick job waiting for you when you graduate as professor(Listed some positive qualities he has). And (I use "and" instead of "but" as it is non confrontational) Cindy(3) however…

I'm doing my Masters in Counseling right now and these Brain-byes are merely frames for looking at the world in a way we're comfortable handling. We do want to go through the day upset or feeling guilty so we make this frame or way of thinking to cope. You could look at mental illnesses such as depression and reduce it to a coping mechanism for the world. When it is too daunting for the individual to handle. The writer is very much onto something.

This is upsetting do to the fact its associating him in such a negative light. These kind of allegations are factored into his overall trade value and contract extensions. This is gonna cost him later on for no good reason.
